Yeah, but before Elliot, Tedd was using the TFG on himself, and the one time he used it on Sarah, the belt was one of the first devices we saw of Tedd's and the transformation being painful implies that it was Tedd's first attempt to create a transformation device with what he learned working on the TFG. The origin of the gauntlet though...I'm not sure, technically the first time we see it is in Tedd's nightmare, but did he already have the guantlet or did the nightmare inspire him to build it thinking the nightmare meant something and that he needed it to protect himself and his friends.

If I were to guess, the "That turned out differently than I expected" moment happened when Rhoda successfully shrunk Catalina since Pandora is seen without the glasses there, but then she has glasses again a little later. So the shock of seeing Rhoda shrink Catalina knocked her glasses off.

I do wonder though, even though the energy that the TFG uses is different than Magic, the fact that Tedd still refers to it's effects on humans as enchantments and that the forms can still be resisted, that maybe Tedd's insight works on that and all he'd need to do is fire the TFG at someone to see in what way it's incompatible and tweak the TFG to compensate. If the gauntlet and watches were created by reverse engineering the TFG and modifying it to use Magic, then it really shouldn't be too difficult for Tedd to do it again.

There's also the fact that Noriko stated her frustration over Tedd having no magic potential despite her's and Edward's bloodline, and then Q&A #7 confirmed that Tedd was expected to be a wizard due to his family history suggests that both Edward and Noriko are wizards.

I'd also say that the incident of the two male students caught recording females in a gender neutral shower at the University of Toronto doesn't count either as there was no mention of the males claiming to be transgender, they were just exploiting the ability to be in the same shower facilities as females. So one can argue that having gender neutral facilities is not the same as allowing people use facilities for the gender they identify as. But this is basically a case of "all it takes is one bad apple to ruin it for everyone". You have cases of cis gender males taking advantage of gender neutral or policies favouring transgender people and it's the transgender people that essentially get punished for it by making it seem like they are the bad guys(or girls) rather than the cis gender pervs.

There's a good chance she could just come across as being someone who witnessed something happening to Kitty as opposed to being the one that caused something to happen to her, so I don't think there's anything to worry about there, the girl they asked looks more confused than anything and will likely forget about this exchange later.

I think the kind of affinities like what Susan, Diane, and Sarah have are something that's engrained in their being, something that's been passed through generations, much like Nanase's family and can't be completely erased, however, a system change would mean having to start over by doing whatever would be required to reawaken or have an Immortal re-mark them which is probably a given considering Pandora "Box" promised to help Sarah get magic even if the system changed. So I think Susan still have the same vampire hunting affinity, but the question would be whether or not she'd get the same spells she had. The summon magic weapon spell probably has the highest likelyhood, but it might not be the first spell she gets and it might not require keeping the original items in a marked storage container. Getting her fairy spell might again be dependent on the summon magic weapon spell and if there's no storage involved in the new spell then it would be difficult to get Nase or Susy back. The there's the hammer spell which she gained when she had her angst induced awakening over the origin story of the hammers. We're not even sure if Jerry could mark or awaken Susan at this point since his current incarnation is basically still a newborn and likely doesn't have enough power or hasn't relearned the ability to mark or awaken people, but there's still no guarantee that she'd get the same spells because the circumstances of how she got them in the first place aren't there.

Well Tedd as she currently is would be FV1 anyway so she's covered already. Her extra girly form from when she first intentionally used the spell would have to be saved.

It's February 25th, it's 18C and it is thundering and lightning and pouring rain like crazy here. Normally we're at of below freezing and having blizzards this time of year.

Elliot's expression is either knowing that Tedd just had a moment of attraction to him, or just being in agreement with Tedd's newfound determination that he helped with getting. Though, can't really go wrong with assuming it's both.

Everyone's saying that a system change would make everyone lose the ability to use magic for a while until someone basically stumbles upon it again and learns the first spell of the new system. It's been heavily implied that Tedd would be the key to figuring out the new system faster should it change because his "dangerous rarity" apparently makes him immune to the system change and his magic insight would let him see the changes. I actually wonder how that would be possible, if everyone lost the ability to use magic for a while, for Tedd to see a spell being cast to decypher the new system. I'd like to propose the theory that Tedd is a natural wizard, and has been learning spells as he sees them like other wizards do, but even though the whale said he couldn't have spells of his own. that could just be that Tedd couldn't have spells under the current system. Basically what Tedd's been doing without realizing it, has been preparing himself for a system change, so that once it happens, it'll unlock those spells and instead of waiting for the first magic user to come along to look at their spells in action, Tedd will be the first magic user with an arsenal of spells ready to go. I'm not saying that Tedd would have been preprogramed with the new magic system years ahead of time, but that the nature of his abilities would automatically adjust Tedd's power to whatever the new system is should it happen. That's would be a proper failsafe for keeping magic from dying out because it guarantees at least 1 person with access to magic right off the bat.

What makes you think Tedd hasn't already done that? Well not sure about Grace having the clone forms, she probably has a few but maybe not all of them. I would assume Tedd designed the Watch forms on the same computer she designed TFG forms.

If the monologue in the commentary is certainly Tedd's train of thought, then it does confirm what I feel is what's causing the rift between her and Edward. All the excuses made for why Tedd transforms herself into a girl and such has made Edward think it's some side effect of using the TFG or that Tedd has some sort of kink about it, but that was all before Tedd realized the actual reason why she does it. Now she just needs to buckle down and tell him the truth.

Ok, maybe humans have the equivalent of a trickle charge. It's not as effective when you're awake because your body is more focused on whatever tasks you're doing, but when you're sleeping, it's part of your natural recovery cycle. This would allow for mages to still have access to magic in low energy regions and their regen would be boosted in higher energy regions. Meditation might also be a viable method of recovering magic energy.

The question is, how will Kitty react to casting her new spell for the first time? Pandora didn't sense any overpowering goodness like she did with Ashley but that doesn't mean Kitty might not want to randomly transform people into catgirls. Maybe Kitty would be completely oblivious to the fact that she's the one transforming people for a while, that would certainly be something that Pandora would enjoy seeing.

I had already said that this whole thing wasn't actually about safety, but because certain people didn't like the idea of sharing restrooms with people who didn't fit their views as normal, but they can't just say "I don't want to share because I'm better than they are" so they come up with the reasoning that it's in everyone's best interest due to safety. And yes that does end up putting those being targeted at higher risk of harassment because it uses fearmongering to get people's attention. But if lawmakers are going to push this issue, they must not stop at trans, they have to include gays, adults vs children, etc, and where do you draw the line? Basically the one true solution is to get rid of multi stall public restrooms altogether and force people to wait in line, because there is no way you can have true safety in a public restroom that accommodates multiple people at a time, because there's certainly no way people are going to allow security cameras in there.

The thing to think about is, preventing trans people from using the restrooms of the gender they identify as, is a shortsighted solution to a much larger problem. Perverts exist, that we can all agree on, could there be perverts trying to pass themselves off as trans to sneak peeks, probably. It is just as likely though that there are perverts among gay and lesbian people as well, so do we keep gay men from using the men's room and lesbians from using the women's room? Do we force separate adult's and children's restrooms? I've heard cases of children doing perverted acts with other children so how do we prevent that? Seems like instead of making a buttload of laws, public restrooms should just be 1 toilet and only 1 occupant at a time and see how people feel about having to line up around the block waiting to go. Edit: What I'm trying to say is, this is convenience over safety, it's impossible to have both because people are crazy. The best we can do is just let people use them, and deal with those that actually act in a perverted manner accordingly.

Elliot already told Tedd he loved him, but not in a romantic way, but it was similar to how he loved Sarah, which would mean that Elliot would consider Tedd a brother (or sister depending on what gender Tedd ends up deciding to stay as) so I don't think there's any chance of a canon relationship.

I also think that considering Tedd and Elliot are almost always together between classes, Ashley's likely seen the two of them even before her needing to warn Susan, like when Elliot got Ashley's phone back to her a couple days earlier.
