  1. Did you consider the possibility that Dan is searching for the middle path between those? Although I think it's more random based on how Dan feels at the moment ... (Also, not sure which pinups you consider one layer of plausible deniability from porn, but maybe one layer is enough. And difference between art - even classical art - and porn is not in amount of flesh shown.) There's also the fact that many of the suggestions that get chosen aren't too specific about what the pinups should look like. For instance, the single character choice for October said "Naughty Librarian Amanda" so of course we have Amanda looking like a sexy librarian doing something naughty. The other single choice that Dan hasn't released yet is "Susan in a one piece swimsuit". We have Susan in a one piece swimsuit, as well as Susan in a bikini (technically a couple in fact), in the sketchbooks. Mind you based on the past few pinups with Susan in them, Dan could very well give this pinup a look similar to the V5 bikini fund Sarah, but he may also just draw her like one of the sketchbooks I linked. The Nanase and Ellen after a spar, could easily have gone the same route as Justin and Elliot after a spar (except covered chests), but thankfully Dan went the "traditions die hard" route with Nanase and Ellen and so we got a more risque pinup. Pinups like "Lazy Day Charlotte", "Gracelyn stretching before a jog" and "Mall Elliot trying on bras" are examples of what was asked for nothing more, nothing less. Though I still wonder how anyone could have expected Dan to draw "Tedd testing to see how much is too much" as a sexy pinup. As far as Dan's "My choice" pinups go, he can do whatever he wants and has been pretty good so far, even going out of the way to take a patron choice several steps farther. Basically what I'm saying is, it's our fault for giving him these choices, he's doing the best he can with them.

You wouldn't want to use the Heavy Gear damage tables my group used. Though it was both amusing and frustrating whenever we fought remotely controlled or AI controlled units and got damage rolls to crew compartments, drones had no crews and need auxiliary hits to disable them. There was also a chance for cascading damage which allow for another damage roll and heavy damage rolls gave two damage results. So imagine fighting several particularly well armed and maneuverable drones, also remotely controlled drones get bonuses from the controllers so can be particularly nasty, we managed to get a heavy damage hit on one, then proceed to roll: Roll1: >Cascade! Roll again! >Crew Compartment :10% casualties (1 crew minimum) Roll2: >Cascade! Roll again! >Crew Compartment: 10% casualties (1 crew minumum) Roll3: >Crew compartment: 10% Casualties (1 crew minumum) >Structural Failure: Crew compartment destroyed, all crew lost. If it were Star Trek, that would have caused a feedback look back at the enemy base that would have killed everyone and won us the battle..... Anyway...uh...you may all return to whatever you were doing, I'll just continue sitting here watching.

Yeah it is Rhoda. This flashback goes back to freshman year so it would make sense if Diane hadn't recruited her yet, I do wonder how that came about though. Abraham told the bloodgrem to go to the building where he detected who he thought was the "cursed", which was Elliot, Ellen was the "curse". Abraham wanted only needed to find one of them, if the bloodgrem found Ellen first then he wouldn't have needed it to locate Elliot.

It's actually interesting that Susan was able to summon and unsummon other items with no issue, yet the fairies go boom when dismissed. Makes me really want a more detailed explanation of Susan's spell by Tedd, or for Susan to tell what her spellbook says about it.

Unless Tedd just means that the spell does a type of scan of the area as the spell effecting stuff.
  6. https://www.patreon.com/posts/my-choice-7141579 Of course it's canon in Sarah's imagination, though 2 Werewolf Elliots might be more Justin's imagination.
  7. Story, Wednesday November 2, 2016

At the rate things are going, we may already have a number of vampires interfering with the removal of the clog. Though I think Pandora would have mentioned that there's still a chance that DGB would notice Sarah even if she didn't tell Edward.
  8. It's really not any more pinupy than Wizard Sarah V1 other than Witch Sarah has a more sultry expression. Wizard Sarah V2 on the other hand is definitely more pinup worthy. And then this one has all kinds of potential.

Dan could still do it, but he would likely stage it so we don't see much, like Catalina from her back, maybe she's covered by the pile of clothes. The however Rhoda ends up carrying Catalina, we'll just see her head poking out of a pocket or...well...maybe this. I believe this was the first mention of Fairy Nanase in Ellen's shirt as a reference for what Rhoda and Catalina could do, so a little over a week ago. I imagine that a number of people posted that possibility on facebook as well but the majority of them was probably after Catalina asked about pockets in Monday's page.
  10. The Weather.

I bet your dishwasher is very disappointed right now. I know right? Especially considering JML was stating possible worry over the fact that the dishwasher stopped chanting meant something was about to happen. Very anti-climactic.
  11. I think some have even put the librarian as a dominatrix type, punishing those who are late returning books or, heaven forbid, put books back on the shelf in the wrong order.
  12. There are numerous examples of Justin not exactly hiding the fact that he was attracted to Elliot, though he only confessed it to Susan, I still wouldn't be surprised if Sarah noticed. Also the whole incident about the rumour of Elliot being gay would still be fairly fresh in her mind, even though it was proven false and Elliot was going to have a date with Ashley the next day, Sarah's imagination might still have fun with the idea.
  13. Being a POV shot, it could be anyone, even you if you wanted, hence why I said it'd be fantasy fuel. As fair as her being a librarian, there seems to be a few stereotypes for librarians portrayed in media, the old lady that runs the library with an iron fist, a timid twenty-something girl, or a sexy confident woman that makes the male students want to show her their dewy decimal system. There can be some mixing between those three examples as well, but Amanda is likely portraying the third type.
  14. Judging but the fact that Sarah replaced the vampire thralls with Grace and Tedd because the real art was gross, it's probably safe to say that aside from Aludrakrala, Sarah didn't care much for the art of the other cards either, or just figured that since she's already imagining a couple of the cards as friends, might as well continue the theme. Still, Sarah could have mentioned that fact to Justin as well "These designs are too disturbing, so I imagine they all look like you and the others." Actually, I linked the wrong page in my original post, I just linked the first one I saw if Werewolf Elliot with Vampire Justin when I should have looked further and linked the one that actually had 2 Werewolf Elliots snuggling Vampire Justin. Hehe. Also interesting is that Sarah only imagined Justin as a vampire and Elliot, Susan and Nanase as werewolves, though would the thralls be considered vampires? Then again I don't think Sarah put the thralls in that deck since we never saw her play them but she did have 42 cards in the deck so....I dunno. Bah, there's also this page that further pushes the pinup being solely from Sarah's imagination.
  15. The Weather.

It's November 1st. It is 22C, feeling like 26 with humidex. I was putting up Chrismas lights in a t-shirt, wore pants though cus I was too lazy to get the shorts out again. The weather network is expecting things to feel more like winter by the end of the month though.
  16. What Are You Ingesting?

This is my wife's bid as well! Sadly they did not show this ad in my neck of the woods. Yeah, I guess that was too early in my life to remember the actual ads, although I do remember Weird Al telling me that I should sell the wine before it's time. I also squeezed all the Charmin I could. Didn't dare try the microwave for a tan though.

The "it's magic" route can still logically work, there's a magic field that tightly surrounds a person that makes a person more durable when shrunk, as well as protects them from getting hurt from clothes being too tight or growing soo big that they break through walls and such as it was explained in Q&A#4. That same field could also adjust air and food as needed when a person breaths and eats. Now, they did say in that Q&A that eating something when shrunk, won't keep you full when you return to normal size so maybe it's a slower process for food, like the molecules and such get adapted to the right size during digestion, and therefore a shrunk person would still technically get full after eating a few crumbs of a cookie. The opposite kinda backs this up as someone who grows, filled up on an entire buffet, then shrinks, doesn't have any complications from the food not shrinking with them, all the excess food just disappears with a loud burp. It's even stated that transformations in EGS carries few risks because it's more fun that way.

I think Pandora predicted Nanase's guardian form easily because she knew Nanase was the type of person that would fight with all she had to protect someone. Pandora considers Tedd family, so that should extend to Nanase as she's Tedd's cousin and so Pandora would have paid more attention to her. Pandora admitted a few pages ago that she didn't pay much attention to Rhoda as much as she should have so this came out of left field for her.
  19. NP, Monday October 31, 2016

Well we aren't exactly done yet, we still have yet to see how Rhoda carries Tiny Cat out of the mall, that could still be hijinky.
  20. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

I'm basing the likely hood of it being Magus that Nanase detected on the fact that Pandora had told Magus to "follow the remainder" a day or so earlier. The rest of it is pure speculation based on Pandora's statement about Immortals having to learn to hide themselves again after a reset. The only real snag here is that Immortals don't have any detectable magic, that likely applies to all Immortals regardless of how freshly reset they are. So the one way around that is Nanase's spell doesn't actually detect the being looking at her, just that there's something looking at her and the general direction it's from, which is backed up by the fact that Nanase assumed that it could have been a mouse in the ventilation duct Still, my money (or quatloos) is on Magus.
  21. NP, Monday October 31, 2016

Something I just noticed. Pandora in the first panel is now missing her glasses from the college coed disguise. The last panel of the last strip in "marker" also has her missing the glasses. So this might be an indication the this NP arc is coming to an end shortly.
  22. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

They might still be noticeable depending on how long it takes an Immortal to learn that, and the is the whole improper reset that might have mixed up how often they learn stuff. Jerry might be noticeable as well, considering he's relatively freshly reset. But Voltaire, and certainly Pandora, wouldn't be.
  23. What Are You Ingesting?

I might be on the fringe of that, having been born in '79.
  24. Things You Only Noticed On Reread

I wouldn't go entirely that far, it's likely she detected Magus watching the two of them. Though I wouldn't discount the idea of her detecting Immortals that haven't learned how to hide themselves from other Immortals, but as for more powerful Immortals? Not unless they intentionally let themselves be detected.
