What if Ashley's secretly there to help protect Elliot, like she knew about Voltaire before we saw her run into him in the mall and is trying to prevent him from killing Elliot. She's already been able to thwart plan A, she may be instrumental in thwarting plan CM as well.

Strange, I know it's kinda finicky in that the "quote this" doesn't always appear after you highlight a chunk, but never had it quote anything other than the highlighted text.

I would imagine the Sirleck, Abner and Voltaire moments in "So a Date" would have been a "T-Minus" mini story if Dan had made it a separate story. Yeah, Shade 1 and 2 was a Grace oriented story and Relations 1 and 2 was Elliot and Sarah and had more to do with relationships rather than family relations, End of an Era was also Elliot and Sarah. Also those were substories inside a major arc (the first two were part of the intro arc "El Goonish Shive" and the third was in "The Dawn") so a third part to those would probably have to follow the story laid out by the first two parts which wouldn't make sense considering what happening currently. Having a new major story arc named Sister III would make sense because not only would it likely involve sisters being reunited, but the events of "So a Date" suggests that another attempt to get Ellen to zap Elliot may be made in the near future (comic time). So I can imagine we'll have separate substories of talking to Edward about vampires and such, Susan and Diane meeting, Ellen maybe zapping Elliot.

You know, I'm actually trying to imagine how Ashley's going to describe her date to Liz and how much Liz has probably heard by now. I can see many "uhhhhhh"s. I meant more in that they're both worried about Elliot. But yeah it makes sense for Nanase to be suspicious, she doesn't know Ashley, and the fact that she recently had a discussion with Edward about why there's a need to keep magic a secret, I can see her being feeling weird about Ashley knowing about things yet not trying to learn more. Nanase's probably thinking "Everyone who'd find out about magic would be asking all sorts of questions right now, but she isn't, does she know more than she's letting on, Diane was never this calm about it!"

Oddly enough, the commentary is better than the comic. The comic's good, but that's some fine Noir style narration.

If you're talking about during Abraham's attack, I think that can be explained by the fact that transforming her hair wasn't actually enough to make new dolls. She could only make the two because one was linked to Ellen, and the other to Grace. Adrian's barriers were also meant to block all manner of entry either physically or magically, though Abraham obviously had some way of getting through.

Another thing to consider is the fact that Ashley's whole "Don't feel obligated to tell me everything" has possibly thrown off Nanase who expected Ashley to be asking all sorts of questions. The only time Ashley asked a question about magic was when Nanase was trying to use the fairy doll spell again to go to Elliot and it was a legitimate question that she was able to help with. Maybe it's the fact that Ashley was able to suggest why the spell wasn't working that threw Nanase off, like how could someone just recently introduced to the world of magic figure out something that a person who supposedly reads their spellbook several times a week.

Ashley will for sure save Nanase's life at some point.

Nanase's either jealous, or paranoid. I guess she has a right to be paranoid given her fears earlier about Diane's safety were justified. But there's no freaking way Ashley is evil. Jealousy is an odd one for Nanase to have considering, but she has been shown to be attracted to Elliot's female forms. It's probably more likely that she cares about Elliot enough to worry about his well being. Probably much like Grace feeling like it's too soon for him to be dating again.

What's the context for that quote? It's the youtube video HarJIT tagged in there. Tom talks about doing MC work, and makes it clear it's not the rap MC stuff, so Matt says that phrase.

That's more in terms of individual story bits. This would likely be a new arc, like Pandora's Box is ending after either So a Date or Q&A#7 is done, so the new one could be Sister 3 with whatever sub stories involved.

That still requires him to morph back to normal first, Elliot's probably thinking "Well if I have to switch back to normal to avoid mind altering effects, I might as well stay normal." Can she use her other spells while in fairy mode? Aside from the fairy specific ones that is.

Someone tweeted back with "Sister 3?" which, considering Susan and Diane's meeting is pretty much inevitable now, I can totally see that being the title. Can anyone think of another storyline that could have 3 in the title?

That only works if Grace was playing the part of a mercenary, trying to bring peace to the wasteland in a non-violent manner doesn't really fit the mercenary profile, when it came to the legion though, the only way to deal with them is by bringing swift retribution upon them.

Yeah, it's obvious, but usually the cheesy noire films are obvious like that, and Dan's definitely going the cheesy route here.

That's assuming Elliot was using a secret ID form at the time, in any other female form, Elliot would likely be awkward, annoyed and also asking Tedd to find a way to get the hammers back.

She thought she was keeping up with hers. Mind you she probably got the update that allowed her to customize fairy outfits after she created the Tedd and Susan dolls. Tedd probably can't tell whether someone just got a spell upgrade or had it for a while. Hmm, actually, if Tedd looked at Nanase when she made each doll he would have seen a difference, so I guess she would have had the ability for at least a day.
