MSM as a term predates the inception of Fox News. It connotes old-guard news media, which Fox is not. As Don Edwards pointed out, it also connotes liberal-biased news media in conservative circles, which Fox also is not. I consider this action in your news story to be small potatoes. A conservative administration is practically obligated to do something like this. Trump has fences to mend with his party to govern effectively. He's going to do some stuff like this just so he can make his big projects happen. I'm primarily concerned with what the big projects are. Roe v Wade is a Supreme Court decision. No amount of legislation can overturn it. Congress could cut federal support for abortions and attempt to finesse the states into doing the same, but Congress cannot eliminate the option without a Supreme Court decision that strikes down Roe. Likewise gay rights have been affirmed by the supreme court. I sincerely doubt that those rights will get a bit more than nibbling around the edges. Stores and restaurants might gain the ability to refuse to serve GLBTs. I can't see allowing anything more extreme passing Supreme Court muster. Anyway, such eroding legislation has to get through the Senate, where it would no doubt get a "hold" slapped on it. Without 60 votes to break it loose, or the Republicans decide to change the filibuster rules, that's as far as that is going to go. It's possible some stuff will get slipped into future budget bills, however. But even a law would still have to survive a Supreme Court challenge. Trump will replace a dead conservative Supreme Court Justiice with another one and all that will do is preserve the Court's 4 + 1 + 4 ideological balance at worst. But that's before we take into account Justice Kennedy as a wildcard or Chief Justice Roberts' occasional breaks from his fellow conservative justices as he sometimes does. Kennedy or one of the Liberal judges has to die or retire before any Constitutional shifts can take place. I'm more concerned about the economy than you are. A languid economy such as Obama's policies gave us is an economy with limited opportunity. A better economy gives better opportunity (life is not a zero-sum game). -

I disagree with the word "necessarily". Life is not a zero-sum game. -
My phone is currently dead. I was visiting friends over the weekend and did not charge it. I forgot to charge it last night as well.

"Mainestream Media" (sometimes abbreviated "MSM") is an established term of use. It includes most traditional news sources: broadcast news, wire services, newspapers and cable news. Fox is excluded from the definition. -

This sketchbook didn't disappoint me, but only because I already realized it was going to involve more skin than is optimal for me. -
Physical contact was critical for creating the link. Catalina's proximity to Rhoda when she cast her disguise spell was what linked everything together, Unless Rhoda tried to extend one of the spells on her or Catalina to Kitty, I don't see the link transferring with any new cast unless there is some variable in the mix that could make the link jump to Kitty spontaneously. Agreed that anything that ends up with Rhoda, Catalina, or both as a target along with Kitty would bring the whole link across.
-
The enchantments on Rhoda and Catalina got linked because they were in extremely close contact. I can't see a fresh cast to someone not in close contact would carry all the other enchantments over. It's possible Rhoda could do that unintentionally by casting in hurry. Failing that, the only other way to hit Kitty with all 4 linked enchantments would be if Rhoda turned around and crawled into Kitty's clothes. While potentially hilarious, that's not a Rhoda sort of thing to do.
-
Rhoda could be finding herself wishing that she could do some kind of variant on stuff she already knows she can do. Depending on presentation, it could feel Deus ex Machina but I'd go with it if Dan makes a good joke out of it. I'm kind of expecting/hoping that whatever Rhoda does further complicates the linked enchantment and adds Kitty into it but I have no idea what Rhoda could do that would have that effect.
-
If Rhoda uses a new and previously unknown spell it will be because it happens to match what she wants to do. If you don't have a spellbook, you luck into new spells when you accidentally cast them. So if Rhoda has a XYZ spell she doesn't know about, wanting to do something like XYZ to Kitty ought to cast the spell. There is also the possibility that Rhoda already has another non-size-changing spell. Hilarity would ensue if whatever Rhoda tries ended up drawing Kitty into the linked enchantment that Rhoda has unknowingly set in motion.
-
Not true. Rhoda has a disguise spell. That particular spell wouldn't help her much at the moment, but she might have something else that could. It would have to be something she doesn't yet know about (Rhoda really needs a spellbook...)
-
Got it in one, Mr. Garibaldi...
-
Objectively, yes. But Rhoda may not be able to be objective about size. She's naturally short and her size may mix with her other insecurities. Making someone else short without their permission could seem worse to her than you.
-
I'd agree but at the same time, it's very likely that her Tiffany side is the part that would feel the hurt too...
-
This is Rhoda, for whom size always matters....
-
I called the opposite of Panel 1, which I think is worth a cookie nibble. I should have remembered that Dan likes girls shrinking out of their clothes...
-
I would say the "Tiffany" parts of Susan are still hurting and therefore very prone to being hurt more. She/they have been taken into protective custody. That could also be projection on my part because that's what I did.

Among the reasons why I myself remain un-illustrated.

Generally agreed. Body modifications should never be considered apart from the consequences. Someone contemplating augmentation can at least attempt some "try before you buy" measures like practice carrying the added weight around. they're not going to pump memory foam in there... With tattoos, at least, there's lasers.

I've worked in the game industry. It sucks from every angle. You have Marketing lining up its resources months in advance aiming at an agreed-upon launch date. Miss that date and their resources get wasted. Also marketing sometimes tries to control the design process. Design can try to backdoor in features marketing didn't like and that's before we talk about the whole Technology-engine-coding-game-coding-qa feedback loop. Games are all experimental code. Blizzard picked up a lot of street-cred with me when it delayed Diablo 1 out of the chirstmas season to "get it right". They've long since spent that cred and gone into deficit but they had it at one time.

This happened with a friend of mine. I was supportive, but a little sad inside. I have a higher limit than you. I like the fantasy of large boobs but it ceases to be fun if it makes discomfort or pain for a real-world woman. I generally agree with your approach toward getting augmentation surgery as a way of gaining confidence. I found myself wanting to discuss the details and the result becoming a pop-psych article. I think the only short thing I could add is confidence sounds about the worst reason to undertake body-changing surgery. Casual reasons for augmentation (I wanna) and really serious reasons (I just don't feel like "me") are much simpler to work with.

EA started more as a publishing co-op among indie game developers (because there were no other kind in the 1970s and early 80s). They just happened to be in the right place at the right time to become one of the few large games publishers. It's a sad truth that if we weren't griping about EA, we'd be griping about some other company, looking back at EA and wishing it had made it to the big time.

That card is in my wallet too. That's why I proposed those options. I expect that whatever Rhoda does won't entirely succeed. Dan took the time and trouble to create and name Kitty. She will not be deterred so easily. Quite agreed, but the more the merrier... I'd like to take this moment to apologize to the women and their sympathizers on the forum for this subthread. In my defense EGS is, at times, that sort of comic...

Rhoda's easiest two choices are: Make Kitty bigger: Tiny catgrils can find corners and places Kitty can't follow and Kitty will have trouble fitting through doors. Make Kitty smaller. Without the ears and tail that make catgirls really fast she should not be able to keep up. Harder/weirder choices might be: Shorten Kitty's legs. Short strides should slow Kitty down same way making her generally smaller should. Enlarge Kitty's bust. Try and run at top speed without sufficient support. Enlarge Kitty's clothes but not Kitty. Try and run at top speed when your shoes are the equivalent of untied and your skirt is sliding down
