Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

PSadlon reacted to The Old Hack in Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)
The Moderator: I am sorry but I am locking this thread for the time being. This has nothing to do with the posters here; you have all large and by done your best to stay within the limits I have imposed. Rather, it is because I am currently in a state of stress that makes it very hard for me to function as even-handedly here as a good moderator should.
This is, in part, due to current affairs in my homeland. I do not wish to go into details but I loathe our current government with a burning passion and I do not think much better of the opposition. Even just looking at the Danish newspapers makes me want to hit things. I need to spend some time to re-center and I apologise for that.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
~tOH.

PSadlon reacted to The Old Hack in Things that make you go WTF
This is actually one exception to my 'scam' call in my previous post. If I could figure out how to charge telemarketers calling me like I had a 900 number, I would happily listen to their rambles.

Linux wont support the apps I want and the hardware mom could afford as a present wont easily run macOS.

Found the option to turn the McAfee crap off on Dried Mud's Windows versions, on the website when you download, not in the bloody installer like normal.

Why on Earth does BBC America run Star Trek, anyway?

IMO Fox News barely counts as News. Many political or politically connect items they put out as ED-OPs, and admitted others are guilty of this to but there seems a lot more care toavoid politicizing apolitical topics.

PSadlon got a reaction from The Old Hack in Things That Make You Happy
Well maybe not happy per se but it does feel satisfying having upgraded all the laptops to 8 GB of RAM and seen an increase in responsiveness.
IMO it's no coincidence their name sounds like a reference to a certain aspect of male anatomy.

PSadlon reacted to mlooney in Things That Make You Happy
Finally got the lap top and I am in the middle of installing Ubuntu on it. Actually past the point of no return, I've redone the disk partitions nuking Window 10 right the frack off the machine. I has a happy, and will keep having a happy unless the universe decides to mess with me.
Or Cox "You expect to down load how much?" Cable pulls a network crash and burn on me.
[edit 1] I really should remember more often than on new to me hardware1, I am normally NOT smarter than the automatic install system. Good thing about XFCE4 installs is they really don't take that much time.
1After I have dinked around with it for a while I can do better than the push and go installs, but on a hardware platform for me? Just use the defaults.

Ah so it's the whole clinic, not just a specific person. Reminds me of Kaiser Permanente, actually.

The pulled muscle aches I had have gone away or my drugs are lasting way longer than normal. Either way I has a happy.

Unfortunately, I think the sort of people who promote these laws would see Trans-folk getting harrassed as a result to be a plus, not a minus.

True but many people use food (pizza included) as a means to deal with emotional pain (including grief and loss).

PSadlon reacted to Pharaoh RutinTutin in The Weather.
Only in the vicinity of the Nile. And when the Ptolemaic usurpers took over the family job, they were stuck with the responsibility. Julius, Mark Antony, and Octavius Agustus took the job in the name of Senate under the SPQR banner. Emperor Constantine gave the Job to the Bishop of Rome. Eventually, The Vatican added it to the duties of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon

Non liturgical Christians arguing that Christmas is just a one day event and the 12 days is a pagan thing. My eye literally twitched when I read that as a reply to my yearly Christmastide Social Media Rant. (™ J. Michael Looney)

As an evangelical Agnostic, I resent it when someone not in my own splinter faith informs me that I am doing my own interpretation wrong. So you have my complete understanding as well as my sympathies and my cooperative annoyance.

Sort of an off hand reference to Tedd in Grrl Power today. Seems it's a rare man that can pull of purple hair.

Middle management's job is not to facilitate your job. It's to insulate higher levels of management from employee's such as yourself.

PSadlon got a reaction from Ser Pentrose in Story Friday December 16, 2016
I will point out it probably wan't entirely for Adrian (after all good way to kill the tedium) but it was still at least partially so and no all of what is being blamed on her was done by her..
