Sarah was able to do that to Susan, though that wasn't canon. That was ANIME convention? Maybe she LIKES being bored by anime ...

Isn't the consensus that they ARE related because they are both Raven's descendants? Even if not, they are likely having some common ancestor who is reason for their talent. Of course, this relationship may not be as close as sisters, but it can still be argued there is no "HAHA Fooled You" element in it. ... wasn't this even said directly in comics somewhere? In any case, yes it sounds like the reason. You can seriously read it directly from that page? If not for the sketchbook I would think it's not SUPPOSED to be readable. Tried tumblr ask.

I imagine they would need/want to call some engineers to inspect the pillar to be certain that it's still structurally sound. The pillar most likely is still good, but it would be a good precaution anyway. (The force of Tara's strike might have caused tiny fractures through the pillar that could worsen over time. ) Once they figure out whether or not the pillar is still sound, the engineers could then provide advice on the best way to repair, replace, or reinforce the pillar. Considering it was MAGICAL attack, it might be even worse than tiny fractures. On the other hand, Tara wasn't trying to demolish the building, she just hit the pillar when she missed Cheerleadra. Indeed. It looks very dramatic and there is usually enough of them around to make them tempting choices, but if you need to use a missile, consider the merits of not using something that these days has been constructed so as to specifically collapse and crumble in a way to absorb kinetic energy from impact. In fact, it's the crumbling in way to absorb kinetic energy which makes it so dramatic-looking. If you hit the villain with something which remains solid, it's not visible how much force you applied. Of course, if you hit him with solid block of steel and it STILL deforms, it's even more dramatic.

Yes ... that was option which didn't occurred to me but makes lot of sense from hindsight. Also, do you also think Liz's opinion is Ashley should stop POSTING these stories and not just stop reading comments under them? And I still like my theory what "thinking about baseball" actually means. Yes ... for this big turn, the politicians minds would need to be altered so much it's debatable if it would still be them.

Or better yet, the pillar turned into some sort of display. "Site of live Griffon attack" with people taking pictures of the claw marks. Right. Totally forgot this possibility. Despite already knowing about museum which includes the bullet holes the building got in second world war as display - meaning they didn't fix it for more than 70 years. (Wait ... seems I mixed something up ... well the idea stands.)
-
Cars as thrown weapons are not a good choice. If you are really strong, yes. If you are helping yourself with telekinesis, it can be something different ... of course, using something ELSE than car as a projectile would be better. Better idea: they would JUST be fixing it.
-
Gee, this Friday Night at the Moperville Mall would be the perfect place to hold a classic car event, wouldn't it? Look up how much a gull-wing Mercedes is worth now. Thirty-odd years ago I saw one here going for $300,000. Yes, and maybe we should also have some celebrities to visit ... like, Ben Lee, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Michael Flatley, Julia Roberts ...

I would be much more uncomfortable if Dan would censor the comic just so we can discuss it more easily. It's Dan's comic - WE need to adapt. (Also, actually avoiding all politics would get complicated quickly ; even the Uryuom's claims they are not aliens can be taken politically, and thats 2003. Not speaking about the sexual "minorities", that's still political topic isn't it?) True, if he copied the spell it should be able to do that ... of course noone knows about it yet but it still opens the possibility for someone to "borrow" it ...

Yeah, but George has insurance for that. He might not be only one. If that insurance company isn't stupid, they will use footage of the incident from youtube to promote that option, believing that the incident was isolated - and up to now, they still think the additional money for monster insurance was worth it. Of course, tomorrow they might regret it ... or maybe not, because the total number of cars wrecked by vampires still wouldn't be THAT high.

Well it did scare her how savage she was, she effectively lost control and let her animal instincts kick in, and it could have been much worse for Dr Scuiridae. That's why it's important for her to have no remorse for aberrations. No cure. ... aaand allies should give her space. Right. Yes, but seems she only progresses very slowly.

Well, if Pandora happens to be available. Problem 1, Sam has to admit he's a a she. Problem 2, Pandora is kind of preoccupied right now. Problem 3, Pandora might not be able to do it if she resets. 1) ... or Sarah needs to notice. I mean, she would still need to admit it, but it would be hard to deny if Sarah blurts it ... 2 & 3) ... other immortals should be able to do that too. Actually, his spell can only permanently change HIS gender (or her). Although he DID mentioned he will be probably able to make wand for changing gender permanently. It would fit the pattern, but I think she will only get such spell AFTER the possibility of Tedd doing it will be explored.
-
I think that's actually him already noticing changes, not related to what he's saying. I would assume that if Ashley would have actual talent for transformation and not just desire, she would be markable no matter how likely she is to use the spell. Talents are stable, it's the desires you can sabotage by just thinking too much. Ashley is really really nice and can't imagine someone else being ok by being transformed by her. ... you know, forget Elliot. She would totally get gender change spell the moment she meets Sam or whoever wrote Elliot the message and her niceness gets on the other side.

The Omega Form might be automatically reinforcing the claws even without the berserker mode. Also, what's so bad on berserker mode? Of course, Grace would prefer claymore to using her claws, but then she needs to buy one and put it in Susan's trunk.
-
That's technically true, but I still think that there is reason why he didn't revealed it right away and this doesn't seem like better place. Also this. They don't want to be cured now and they might not like being cured even after you do it. Where it was mentioned he was "undying"? Hard to kill, sure, but it may not be harder to kill than "normal" werewolves. Werewolves in Underworld lived just as long as vampires and I vaguely remember several others, but yes, usually it's not mentioned.

Hopefully they'd be upfront about what they want, and make it clear the recruit has a choice to not do it. I would be hopeful about that as well, but unfortunately Helena and Demetrius don't have a good track record in regards to that. I would actually say that they are already aware of Adrian and Noah but they wouldn't try to "recruit" them because they would need to be upfront about it. And they are likely afraid to approach Susan and/or Nanase again. Greg? Well ... maybe ... "One of"? That may be true but competition is great. I think Nanase's royal-level talent is still better, or at least same with her having headstart. And obviously, professionals like Adrian Raven, Edward Verres or Agent Wolf (one of most powerful wizards in the mid-western United States) would be more powerful, not speaking about Noriko Verres (she's likely not in Moperville, though). And, well, Grace has lot of power in her technically-magic ...

Yes. If the company doesn't do anything tangible - say, it's in insurances or loans - it will still be unlikely someone else than regulators would care. And I suspect that CEO's in such business rarely possess high level of empathy. It might even be SAFER for him if he can laugh at accusation of being monster with some witty remark like "sure, I have it in job description" or "only from 9 to 5". I think that number of CEOs is big enough that even with good coordination it just isn't worth investigating. I think he shares that trait with Bad Tom, though BT's a sand-lot bad guy compared with a big-league villain like Sirleck. You need lot of experience to get from Bad Tom to Sirleck, yes. Maybe, if he didn't hit Susan (and without magic reset), he would be aberration in 40 years.

Wasn't Liz's mark supposed to be something with not pretending? Also, I sort of expect that if Dan didn't said what spell Liz got in EFTM he is keeping it as big reveal in main story, why would it appear now, outside canon? And, yes, if Elliot can transform someone else it would be first time. Pandora really, really wanted to give Ashley a TRANSFORMATION mark but COULDN'T because Ashley is too good to use such spell. She COULD give her some healing but that was useless to her. I suspect Ashley only really changed by meeting Elliot - meaning, she might be markable with transformation spells NOW but because Pandora already stopped marking left right ... Sure it would be game changer but personally I think that having someone who main eight can kill without second guessing it will be better. Susan just started to get out of depression caused by killing one vampire, she doesn't need reason to get back. Also, I would guess that if Ashley had this kind of power Pandora would notice.

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=673 probably, http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php for now. Nanase should've escaped sooner. Also, apparently Rhoda is VERY distracted. I'm not surprised Mrs. Kitsune is ok staying this age and Nanase is not. Nanase's age is best from those three options and unlike Akiko Nanase already knows why (Ellen).

While you personally might only have one channel, the phrase was referring to possibility of having more - meaning, two or three - with the additional danger that trying to tune other channel took some time, as you needed to manually find the correct frequency for the channel by tuning some knob connected to coil. Only later TVs with "support" for more than one channel appeared, with the first versions having physical switches which controlled which tunable coil will be connected to the circuit, so you could tune every coil for different channel. ... wait. Actually, the phrase likely predates TVs and refers to radios, which rarely got support for multiple channels until they got digital tuner.

It isn't, but being a really rich obnoxious guy who has to have a lot of enemies and a lot of people looking into his misdeeds for justice or for blackmail isn't the best strategy to hide either. And Sirleck clearly enjoyed lording it over his minions a lot, over and above living a life of luxury. I would assume he's as rich as he dares, and as unknown as possible. ... or, this might be limit of how rich can he be without getting famous. Like, wouldn't surprise me if he would be 402th richest american just to not end up on Forbes 400 (although there are likely other ways how to not end up on such list than not being rich enough). While valid question, I would note that 1) His inability to do anything more with the secretary might also by caused by his host age (and, in fact, I would assume the eating and drinking is not as good as with younger host as well) 2) I suspect he ALWAYS enjoyed power more than more mundane pleasures.

If this happened in real life, they'd most likely panic, and so would I for that matter at such a sudden change. First, they do seem to panic. Second, so what? They deserve it. What ellipsis? ... funny how can we say this confidently despite the comics being grayscale I suppose next set of laws they wanted to talk about has something to do with "immigration".
-
Sooo, Nanase is still child? Well it SHOULD revert in few days ... How? Sure, this isn't canon, but still, Ashley shouldn't have any magic. Also, would totally try in real life, despite the high likehood they wouldn't actually learn from that experience.
-
So, Susan successfully recognized someone based on description "she looks just like you". (Obviously, except hair and height.) Not sure who is more nervous. And both react to it by looking elsewhere ... The problem with "choosing the same entrance" is that ANY entrance might be the one the other will use.

Because ruler of the world is the best place to hide at, right. He needs to keep low profile, because body snatchers are considered the worst kind of aberration and if he would be revealed as one immortals and wizards would be queueing to kill him. (Also, it explains WHY are body snatchers considered the worst kind of aberrations.) (Also, ruling world is overrated. Too much work, too much publicity, everyone is blaming you for any problem even if you didn't caused them ... not sure why would anyone want to do that. Although you can avoid some of that if you are not official ruler.)

She would have been old enough to watch Voyager when it was airing in prime time. Voyager run prime time 1995-2001. First contact was in 1996. Susan is 18. Assuming it's 2014, Voyager started before she was born and she MIGHT be old enough to see the LAST season in prime time and remember it. Starting to watch something on last season seems like VERY bad idea. Although it IS possible she saw one episode and it made her convince her mum to buy all Star Trek DVDs, I wouldn't consider it likely, especially with Voyager. (It would be different if she saw Once Upon a Time when like four - that MIGHT be something to turn child, and if Mom bought incorrect Star Trek next ...) Of course it will be different if the year would actually be 2003. In fact, I would argue that when the Red Alert ST:TNG comics was going out in 2004, Dan still wrote the comics as if it would be 2002 and Susan being Star Trek fan would make more sense like that.
