There still is the responsibility of the maker, who is supposed to be human. Doesn't matter. Geneva Convention are useless unless both sides agree to uphold them. That depends on the body temp after wearing both suits. And how good androids are in cooling, sure.
-
Even without the self-awareness, if you find fix for some bug, you will apply it. You may complain it doesn't make sense but if it works ... Remember Hex's Fluffy Teddy Bear? The "armoring of maid outfit" might end up similarly actually. I definitely agree that maid outfit over the cat-suit would work. I suspect that you are expected to warn your enemy about non-traditional uniforms beforehand. Of course, in fight between android and alien robots, Geneva Convention is unlikely to apply anyway.

I think that the first purpose is something not really important and the second purpose is the magic reset one. I'm not sure if I would call the almost-predictive abilities immortals have "being smart". But I agree that he is unlikely to have them. I think the whole deal with reset is specific to fairies and he is dealing with long life differently. I don't think Heka or whatever else Tedd can transform to has dominion over ALL magic. But "Tedd-Heka" might still have power to ruin Voltaire's fun, either directly by attacking him or indirectly by forcing him to follow even more limiting rules. I don't think he might end up abusing the "second purpose". I think that the second purpose is PROTECTED from abuse by anyone knowing about it not being eligible for it. Meanwhile, being intelligent, sound mind and morally good is NOT strictly necessary and might be way how to manipulate the seer. Heka is certainly not the only one with this knowledge. Voltaire either remembers it by memoir, got it from someone else OR maybe asked Heka century ago. I find it likely. Although I wouldn't use the word "help" ... I think he USED General Shade Tail for it. If he knows that telling Tedd is neither guiding nor empowering, that will cause him to get blasted into a reset, at the least. Possibly so fast he wouldn't even explain enough to disable Tedd. I don't think he needed any convincing. I think our Tedd was convinced to be "no good" before TF gun as well. Manipulated? I'm more interested if she might possibly realize Tedd is seer and then disappear because she knows she can't be trusted to not tell him. He may not entirely correctly evaluated himself. Note that Luke was almost blinded by looking at him. I think it's We do know he seems energized (and glows) when he makes new discoveries about magic or love. I agree that Andrea knows too much ... which is why I think she somehow WON'T MEET TEDD. Because such meeting would complicate the story too much. I think that Elliot is SO important that just him NOT BEING AROUND might make Tedd unstable, even if he wasn't killed after Tedd was already friend with him. Very good questions. Note that the fairie law will DEFINITELY affect them based on the universe they are IN. Maybe Voltaire DIDN'T do it and just lied he did.

It was a clearly insulting picture. Created specifically to be offensive to Muslims. Someone changing their name to 'Mohammad' as a show of faith after converting does not fall into quite the same category. And someone named Mohammad who is of different faith? Based on recent history, offending Muslims (or someone who claims to speak for Muslims) seems to be easiest AND most dangerous from all religions. (But I think we got very offtopic ...)

Apples and oranges. Don sounds like he's talking about, for example, Mohammed Ali. You're talking about pictures which very definitely were depicting the Prophet specifically. I suppose I didn't saw all images and I don't read French, but the most famous one is head in turban with bomb in it titled Mohammed. Nothing specifically about Prophet.

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=598 I like the idea that it can be bug. I mean, while everyone have different opinion, there are outfits which would be hard to explain as "that persons like them". But there is no such limit in case of androids: their emotional programming might be very crude and full of bugs, so basically ANYTHING might be explained as something the android likes. ... (Note: it's true that cosplayers can like wearing all sort of crazy stuff, but they are just copying other character which may lack sane reason to wear that.)

Seeing those two together ... A computer without COBOL and FORTRAN is like a piece of chocolate cake without ketchup and mustard.

I think it's a hybrid of both actually, I can't fully remember the details and don't feel like sifting through the archives at the moment, but I think Mecha Maid's suit is a full body suit that allows her to overcome her ALS and have mobility, pretty sure it also has reinforcement in vital areas as well, like an exo-suit. The maid frills are just for the super hero persona. See wiki. The headband is only thing she needs to not only overcome ALS but get superstrength. The armor provides weaponry and flight capabilities, but I'm sure it's also, well, armor.
-
I don't think Spinnerette will tell. Note that Mecha Maid consume only LOOKS as maid costume and is actually armor. GR4-C3's costume is likely normal fabric and offers zero protection. Of course, hard to say how much protection will the catsuit offer ... or if android NEEDS armor. ... in any case, catsuit will likely protect better than metal bikini. That order to not only wear the catsuit but also like it is nasty.

It's possible he knows about the clog (it's supposed to be relatively obvious thing) but probably not who caused it. If he knows any details, he's hot candidate for someone who pretended to be magic to Disco Wizard. That would suggest Tedd is even more important than we assumes. Very unlikely.

pinup Pinup: Saturday April 1, 2017 (Double - Moo News Is Good News)

https://egspinups.tumblr.com/post/159082317670/double-moo-news-is-good-news-when-carol-found Yeah. Sarah's face says she wanted to punish Carol for not being specific enough when she said "something interesting". Hmmm ... how big can be range of spell sent with help of television? In case of physical force, I would expect watching result on TV is irrelevant, but for spellcasting it may actually help ... (At least Carol didn't get four breasts) -
The most important audience is you in few months - but don't overestimate your memory; if other programmer won't be able to read it, it's likely you wouldn't either.

And just after we talked about how careful Dan is with gods, we have someone who might be god ... now, will Dan keep being careful or will he say something which might potentially offend someone? Heka doesn't seem necessary higher tier. He's just different and is not bound by fairy law, which gives him advantage in eventual battle. Note that he may not be aware how long since reset Pandora is - he apparently recognized her as fairy but not personally - so he may overestimate his chances. BTW, fairies ... I'm not surprised. Fairies are most likely to have rules like "empower and guide". And I don't think "entwined" means he can use library to stalk mortals. He will certainly have "library" knowledge but may not know exactly what's happening just now. There may not BE "original" Heka - it might've always be title/role/job. She'll want more clarification about the possible system change and how/why Tedd is connected. Disco Wizard accused Immortals of letting themselves forget about the Will of Magic so she does have the right to try to get back that knowledge. I think she doesn't need specific right for magic reset knowledge, that the question about magic reset are considered allowed on this level. Question about Tedd, however ... we will see.

He never said it. What he's implying is harder to objectively measure ... but you may be right. I'm not entirely convinced about that. But we are getting both offtopic and on dangerous ground. I personally think religious people shouldn't take religion so seriously, but there is lot of people who do ...

Need to be careful about that sort of thing. Write enough scripts to make your job easy and all at once they don't need you any more, just some monkey to run the scripts. Then, of course six to eight weeks later they discover that not all of what you did was done by scripts. Good for a couple of bucks an hour increase in pay to return. The key is to write enough scripts to make your work fully automated BUT never tell anyone. People write in COBOL?

Also there is secondary cast member who was sad he's not pervert. -
Sooo, if you offend just small group of people it's more ok than if you offend large group? (It's true that it's safer. Also, Dan can likely afford to lose all readers who get offended by implying Zeus is not real god but might not afford to lose all Christian readers or all Muslim readers or all Buddhist, to match your list of examples. It just doesn't sound nice if you say it like this.)

I'm pretty sure creating stationary GPS emulators will be very ineffective but compared to replacing all GPS-using devices ... you may be right. VERY unlikely. In fact, I think lot of stuff IN our solar system have no effect on GPS satellites. Like Pluto. I don't think it predates the immortals. Their memories, on the other hand ... Also, it's still very likely the "original" Zeus was one of immortals. Or even more than one - they might be taking turns or pretending to be one entity in different areas. And later forgot about it in one of resets. But, yes, Pandora herself picked the name because the legend already existed. I have that on list. Might even get to actually read it sometime. There are LOT of comics like that. There is one with half-pooka Hades, speaking about him ... (I've read parts of Wapsi Square but I'm not sure if it's worth it reading it whole. Similarly as Girl Genius.)
-
Pandora herself is also from religion, technically, and definitely from legends. Griffins and dragons seems legendary enough as well. I'm not sure why so-called "current" religions should have any advantages but I'm sure discussion about it would be both offtopic and dangerous.
-
Also helps with keeping things together. If Charlotte is reading code listing (which doesn't have natural pages), it would be very impractical to read it from separate sheets of paper.

The point is that it wasn't "turn". In my opinion, EGS is just steadily getting weirder and weirder. Actually anything written in Latin alphabet is digital. Hieroglyphs are not, but Latin means fixed and very limited set of symbols in single direction. You don't NEED to read two thousand year old papyrus written in Latin, you can get the same information delivered to you over optical cable. You need to make photo of papyrus with hieroglyphs and you might still not be sure what specific symbol was originally. Optical disks, hard drives, flash drives ... all degrade. But the information can be copied without loss. And more relevant to what I was talking about, the photographic film WILL degrade. Colors on 20 years old film can't be trusted, original was colored differently but different colors degraded with different speed. Digital image can be preserved forever - if you copy it regularly from old medium to new one. Technically, optical media are relatively resistant to this. And I'm sure there are databanks shielded very well. The disaster as shown on Gravity was not exactly believable. Space is 3D, they shown it almost 1D. But it's true that satellites are vulnerable and the amount of garbage on low orbit might make impossible to launch new ones because there wouldn't be safe path through. Existing high-orbit ones would likely survive any problem with mass collisions, as high orbits are less cluttered and, well, bigger, but they are likely vulnerable to solar flare (although I would imagine military satellites are shielded). In fact, this article mentions that both spy and GPS satellites are relatively high AND shielded. It's hard to stay clear of religion when talking with Pharaoh RutinTutin. (PM me if you still don't get it, I don't want to be boring on forum.) Also, I wouldn't recommend Sinfest to anyone. It used to be good but now it just keeps ramming the same message harder and harder as if loudness ever convinced anyone. Yes. In fact I'm not sure if Internet was ever dependent on satellites, at least on the important lines like the transatlantic one. I would expect that current spy planes would be able to provide usable meteorological data, although not as cheaply as satellites.

Elliot and cheating? Seriously? That's even more absurd than Grace pirating the Star Wars! Good game system should be able to describe everything. -
Considering the weather in upper layers of atmosphere, I think virtual stacks are much better for the books involved.

Wait, you need compexity 3 in Medicine before cosmetic surgery can be done ON you? I suppose Elliot has complexity 6 and Grace 7. -

For the special case of EGS characters, apparently... No, special is the lipstick. I mean, it's special kind of lipstick Susan is using here.
