We have a big clue -- the extremely privileged way she acted when she muscled Susan into the France trip. This is not the action of someone recently into money by way of parental support. What parental support? She got some houses and several millions as her half on divorce. Mr. Pompoms forgot to make premarital agreement. ... ok, the way she behaves makes more likely she was always rich, but there ARE people capable to get into this mode in just ten years.
  2. NP, Wednesday November 23, 2016

Well, she wanted Rhoda and Grace to have clean hands here Considering they were at toilet, I think that's pretty normal level of concern. If that would be Susan, she would already be taking out hand sanitizer. Wait. She would first knock out both of them then take out the sanitizer. We do not know that. Mrs. Pompoms was rich. It is quite normal for men to look for rich lovers to batten off, too. For all we know, that was his selection criterion for his lovers, too. We know very little. It's for example possible that he married Mrs. Pompoms for the money and that woman he had sex with was his one and only true love. But I don't consider likely man with similar tactic as Diane would marry OR got not one but two women pregnant. (Also, we don't actually know if Mrs. Pompoms was rich before the divorce. Might've been his money.)

I don't think she's getting physical with any of them either, considering she has a similar aversion to germs as Susan Wait, does she? I don't remember that. Kisses are cheap. I mean, for her, the boyfriends need to pay That's true, but each for different purpose.
  4. NP, Wednesday November 23, 2016

Maybe, it's also possible that he was very willing to spend money on her too for that time. I'd rather believe that she stuck with one person until she felt they weren't worth keeping Third alternative would be that she is spending around month with one boy but she gave Derek another chance. Not really. She don't consider those relationships important and I don't think she is getting far physically with them. That's like inversion of her father behaviour.
  5. Story Monday November 21, 2016

Of course, wizards these days don't do bags of holding, that have briefcases of holding. Of course they do. For almost a century already.
  6. Story, Wednesday November 23, 2016

Yet. Apparently, she considers vampires more important, which is completely understandable. So, they didn't get to details of the sister stuff and Susan likely didn't really processed it yet. It's not hair trigger, 7 vampires is not "hair". I think her reflexes are optimal. Vwoom #1 “Where the Hell did that sword come from?” I think they WERE informed about this display of items ... not speaking about the possibility Susan showed them on some occasion. She could just say it to Grace and Sarah, yet she shown it, so why not?
  7. NP, Wednesday November 23, 2016

What about having one salted and one unsalted and altering? In a sense, New Year Eve, although technically it was just her avatar. That's assuming Rhoda notices Diane sooner than Diane notices her ... It really looks like him. It's not like she needed to date him all that time. She probably have very full calendar and switches boys often so they can afford her. She said lemonade!
  8. Story Monday November 21, 2016

Point. But even if physically in Moperville, the headquarters still wouldn't count as local branch. ... how many Congressional committee hearings Cranium provably wasn't on? Yeah, but Edward needed the area investigated for anything that could explain Pandora's appearance there, and while searching for anything that could produce a hologram doesn't necessarily require agents with magic abilities, it would likely take them longer to search the forest for anything, so agents with magic can probably do it faster. True. It's very likely that all offices/divisions of the DGB's CSI has magical capability in some manner. It would be difficult to examine and investigate a magic-based crime scene without some sort of magic, though a lot of their operations could possibly be done with a basic toolkit provided by a bag of (well labeled) wands. How do you think they found that using wands can awaken people? Note: rather than bag, the wands are likely in toolbox similar to this:
  9. Story Monday November 21, 2016

There will likely be normal-sized Washington D.C. branch AND additionally some headquarter with just management and no actual agents. They may not even be magic users. This headquarter would likely be located in Washington D.C. but wouldn't really be Washington D.C. branch. Edward's boss isn't in same branch (like, he may be visiting, but he's likely part of Washington headquarter or something). Those two unnamed agents do look as part of the team, yes ... I would assume she's just assistant. And she's very unlikely to be magic user, being uryuom ... although Noah managed it, so we can't rule it out completely ...
  10. http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=539 Considering that Catalina SEE how the jackets stick out (she could easily TOUCH the reason), what exactly is she imagining? Baseball? Also, is that REAL popcorn Pandora is eating? ... ok, the question what is the rookie mistake is probably more important than if that popcorn is real. Uh ... does the shrunk Catalina being inside enlarged jacket cause the spells to interfere with each other? (When Rhoda was getting bigger eating enlarged cookie, was it specific to eating or was it simply because she was having the cookie inside?) Also, did we already saw the thing Pandora was surprised about or will there be more?

Interesting... But it makes about as much economic sense as turning gold into lead. Clothing for women, if I remember correctly, is generally more expensive (pound for pound or item for item) than similar apparel for men. It's supposed to be EXPERIMENT. Not way to get rich. Yamato, as one might expect, takes this to an extreme. The other 3 girls are destroyers... And I though Seras Victoria would be the girl with biggest cannons.
  12. Story Monday November 21, 2016

He was introduced as having connections with the FBI as a consultant though. There's been no evidence of anyone questioning if the FBI had wizards, and it was clear that he wanted to keep it that way. Yes. People know there is FBI, and presumably he is prepared to admit there is some wizard with connections with the FBI, but he wouldn't like if people would realize there is special department of FBI staffed mostly by magic users. In the conversation between Arthur and Cranium, the us of the plural "agents" suggests more than we've been shown, I'd be willing to expect a dozen to maybe at most 20 under Arthur's branch in Illinois mainly because of Moperville being unusually more active in paranormal stuff. If there are branches in every state, it might range in staff from 2-10 depending on paranormal activity in each state. So there's probably less than 100 agents in the FBI. Though it is possible there might be more agents if they're always recruiting people they find with talents for magic. Yes, it's obvious there are more agents that we were shown, but we don't even know if the "branch" we know is for US (unlikely but ...), for Midwestern US, for Illinois or just for Chicago and it's suburbs. Together with the fact we don't know what is the variance of department size, the total number of magic users employed by FBI can really range from dozens to thousands. (Note that there are 50 states in US, meaning if there would be 2 in every state except Illinois and the four we know about in Illinois, it would already be over 100).
  13. Story Monday November 21, 2016

Six people are working on it. Best experts they have. Of course, not as good as Andrea, but that's unfair comparison. Yes. No. Uhhh ... no ... actually, people are likely to believe there is NO organization, just individuals. His personal involvement is not important, however ... ... the involvement of agents is. Yes. If he would decide to involve DGB at all, it would be in way which would make it seems it's few people, not whole organization. So, he will show alone or maybe Agent Wolf (with some costume to not look like FBI agent) would show up (as most powerful wizard in midwest US, he is likely able to solve lot of situations without help, or at least without VISIBLE help). Funny how this matches how Dan prefers to show just few people in DGB. With this strategy, we may easily keep wondering for many years if DGB really consist of few dozens of people in whole US ... or if it's actually organization containing hundreds or thousands of magic users in US, with "dozens" being size of single state department.
  14. Story Monday November 21, 2016

She seems to know quite a bit about this side, even her previous life has experiences from this side. It could be possible that she's jumped between both halves in her lives, but considering Abraham is from this half it's more likely that Blaike was also in this half, maybe there was a time when it was easier to pass between the halves and so this half occasionally saw dragons and lionbears come over. What has Abraham to do with Blaike? True, her previous life seems to be on this side, but it's possible she changed sides, met Blaike and changed sides again. "Probably"? I though it's obvious from the comics that this is the strategy he is using. He may know about the possibility of magic reset but not realizing how close the reset is. He's certainly doing what he think it's best and I don't feel like he's "letting" anything happen more than necessary. He give up on part of the secret because it was no longer possible to hide it without actions which would risk even more. What would YOU think he should be doing? Arrest Elliot? That would raise lot of questions from non-aware part of government, likely cause chain reaction of his friends and Edward trying to free him and then Edwards friends if he would arrest Edward ... and wouldn't really help because Elliot and rest of main 8 are not only magic users in city ... and what would other magic users think if obvious superhero would be arrested? Right: "Government is enemy". Note that he may suspect immortal is involved and that it might became even MORE active if situation would get more complicated - because by definition, immortal would be better than any mortal in both analyzing situation and predicting possible outcomes.

He doesn't need to buy anything, he can borrow something from Ellen. Would fit. And I suppose it would be normal female clothing, as there is no enchanting present when changing back to male ... but it would definitely be worth the try. He likely doesn't and it would likely work in such case.
  16. Story Monday November 21, 2016

Cloning, other than identical twins, is unlikely until after the original is born. I suspect Stature doesn't mean normal cloning, but something like Dewitchery Diamond.
  17. Story Monday November 21, 2016

She has kinda given riddles to Magus, though she hasn't done it much, seems more her style to just be vague with the truth and sidestep giving solid answers if she feels she could have fun with it rather than have people try to figure out riddles. The idea is that she is bound by immortal agreement of "our" side now, but she would be bound by the other side agreement when flirting with Blaike.
  18. NP Monday November 21, 2016

How long do you think the taser would be able to keep that voltage? You would need to be zapping him almost constantly to keep him from escaping, even if it would work.
  19. NP Wednesday November 16, 2016

Why would he use the white shirt, although it is possible Elliot might finally have male morph spells now, as it is with the female morphs, if Elliot put on a shirt that hadn't been transformed when he turned she, it won't likely transform when she turns back to he. The blue shirt though would stay feminized though and has been the basis for Ellen asking to borrow morphed outfits, but it seems like more work to do something like that just to change an outfit. He would get white shirt to not be naked of course. The experiment follows what I described and consist of Elliot trying to transform shirt he has on himself but which is already transformed by previous enchantment which Elliot ended on himself. That might be impractical if they would be likely to unshrink due to enchantment expiring. Depends on how long stuff stays shrunk. True, the boar stayed big for day or maybe days ... I though Rhoda tried. I mean, she didn't stopped at the minimal size, she just shrunk Catalina as much as she can. That's because if you define looseness in terms of force on wearer, you can't get under some minimum. I think more likely reason for transformation mishaps is basically that Tedd keeps experimenting until Sarah says "hey, I got enough nudity for today". ... like various sports equipment?
  20. Story Monday November 21, 2016

It's just illusion. Except they didn't see each other for long time apparently. No, they get the wand today. It's just one more fact that's in the "So unlikely that it might not be mere coincidence" class... It might be because Nanase doesn't completely believe Edward and would want to let Susan decide herself. Problems with both theories. First theory, it is almost guaranteed that Susan's mother would know whether or not Susan was her child (barring baby switching hijinks), and the page you linked to for the second theory has Adrian explicitly state that elves cannot have children Yes. On the other hand, it suggest there is something we don't know yet. If everything would be already revealed, Dan would likely mention how he meant it (possibly saying that originally he planned them as twins then changed mind). If there is nothing like that in comments, then maybe there is still some surprise ... Yeah ... which is as relevant to comics with Squirrel-human-uryuom hybrids as Lúthien Tinúviel, who definitely wasn't sterile. Technically, they are from other side of universe, which not only can but HAS different rules ... ... which reminds me this little fire-breathing detail. Maybe elves who are children of immortals can't have children, but elves who are children of ancients CAN. And Pandora is actually ancient from the other side of universe. Although she doesn't look like giving riddles to Blaike ...
  21. NP Wednesday November 16, 2016

True. So magic actually differentiate THREE cases - non-living, living and sapient. Wait. Immortals would be fourth case. The difference between Elliot and Rhoda is Rhoda can target other people and objects to enchant, Elliot's morphs are strictly applied to himsel, so of course Elliot wouldn't be able to affect clothing that's been morphed with him, then taken off. Rhoda has the advantage of resizing anything she points her palms at, and as such should also be able to reverse and enchantment in the same manner. Let's see: Take blue shirt. Transform to girl. Take off blue shirt, take on white. Transform to guy. Take off white shirt, take on blue one. Experiment ready to go. Hmmmm ... true. Also, nitroglycerin (as a medicine for heart problems) and LSD can both be absorbed when put under the tongue. I heard. Good question. Looking back on our discussion about how can the shrinking work physically: if she's really resized, then the limit is likely absolute. If it's done by bending space, then the limit is likely per enchantment, although you can get into problems if boundaries from stacked enchantments get too close.
  22. NP Monday November 21, 2016

One more note: Sure, the middle mannequin has same clothes as Ashley the first day ... but we never saw Ashley's knees in that outfit. Pity. It's ok, they are not in school, so she can't be expelled for it. Yeah. It's normal to talk like this. It's less normal to talk ABOUT talking like this. "I'm on speaker" would be ok, as it might be understood as realization she's on speaker as opposed to headphones, but "we are talking over phones" is weird thing to say.
  23. NP Wednesday November 16, 2016

The main difference, as I understand it, is that the Enlarged Rhoda/Reduced Catalina situation involves two living beings who are both enchanted, while the cookie involves an enchanted object spreading the enchantment to a living being. Physical laws work identically on both living and non-living matter. Of course, magical laws may not share this property ... although, based on boar incident, I suspect they work identically on non-living matter and animals, but differently on humans (sapient beings?).
  24. NP Friday November 18, 2016

Where work stops, obviously. Any office worker could tell you that. Reminds me: The brain is a wonderful organ; it starts working the moment you get up in the morning and doesn't stop until you get to work. (Apparently, Steven Wright).
  25. NP Monday November 21, 2016

With the prevalence of phones, it's surprising that people still consider weird if voice comes from unusual direction or if someone seems to talk to himself. Regarding Catalina's idea: that's unlikely to help. You would then not be sure if you remember how you came yesterday or today. Regarding mannequin: I can imagine live girl combining short shorts or skirt with fur jacket. In fact, I don't need to imagine, I saw multiple cases like this. For lot of girls and some women, looking pretty is more important than having legs in warm.
