  1. Yup, I don't think any other show have FIVE incompatible orderings. Also, the network interfered with the production. Either in misguided attempt to make the show more popular, or in attempt to kill it and get out of the contract. Or possibly first the first and then the second.
  2. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Was there evidenced that her training had already begun before Damien attacked? We know Ellen tried training Grace in self defense before "Painted Black" and that wasn't going so well. The scientists at the facility might have tried to do some training, but her timid nature likely made it difficult. ... right. Due to Damien, Grace didn't finished that training. Although, maybe the killing part is only one she didn't get to. She could do lot of spying without killing. ( Note: Yes, we don't have any evidence about her training. Her getting to Tedd might've been natural talent. )
  3. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Well maybe they did. They are not perfect. I'm not sure Pandora would be able to predict Ashley in time of France incident. Based on what we saw, it seems that both amount of information from clairvoyance AND the how easy it is to use it get better with age. Jerry still seemed to concentrate a little when analyzing Susan and Grace, and he didn't do both at once. (Also, Grace surprised him repeately, yes.) Meanwhile, for Pandora, using clairvoyance is like hearing that catchy tone over and over in your mind: it's hard to NOT do it. When the Olympians gathered in celebration, Eris had not been invited. So the goddess of discord delivered a golden apple inscribed with the message "For the fairest". Paris (a human with a lot of Gaul) was selected by Zeus to judge between Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite. All three goddesses offered bribes to Paris. Aphrodite's bribe was to let Paris meet Helen, the wife of the King of Sparta and the most beautiful woman in the world. Then Aphrodite would make Helen fall in love with Paris. Immortals messing with relationships and trying to fix people up just to satisfy their own petty vanity. Not only half of stories with Gods involves Gods messing with relationships, let's look at the other immortals: Fae. What is the most known classical story about Fae and their court, the one names Demetrius and Helena are from? A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. And what happens in that story? Immortals messing with relationships.
  4. Story Friday April 15, 2016

... Diane will not be ready to kill ANY Vampire this year even if she gets the training very seriously. Also, she's going to be part of main "eight" sooner than she learns how to kill vampires. ... technically, Grace WAS trained as assassin. She is qualified for the evil spy perfectly. Luckily for Ted, she was unemployed when she met him. I'm not sure - Elliot definitely didn't loved Sarah, but it's possible Sarah actually loved Elliot. Still, in most breakups, the one who initiated the breakup suffers less. In this case, BOTH did initiated the breakup. Well I'm sure Elliot shown less initiative than with Ashley, which already wasn't that much. Elliot was outed as Cheerleadra. While not directly caused by Ashley, it might be that bad thing which balanced out the perfectness, especially if it will result in real problems for him - or for THEM.
  5. Yeah, you think Greg's reaction to the Lucky Bunny Bounty Show's cancellation was bad, people were outright baffled and pissed that Fox canned Firefly. Especially considering the competition that Firefly had on Fox was Joe Millionaire. It seemed like Fox wanted to cash in on the reality TV genre rather that stick to something with actual storytelling. Still better than Crusade. But Crusade had whole B5 in the same universe.
  6. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Colonel directly pretending to be mortal or "guiding" Sirleck's spy to "correct" conclusion might be possible. But I'm sure Sirleck is not aware of any immortal helping him. Agree. This is not "foreshadowing", this is exact opposite. If Ashley would be spy, it would mean that there were scenes in comics where Ashley actively pretended she's not despite noone except us looking. And that's assuming Sirleck is not aware of Raven being around. Just entering Moperville is dangerous for Sirleck, and he doesn't seem to like personal risk. He will be in Elliot's body and sprinting to Dewitchery diamond, hoping he can keep margin from all those dangerous people going after him. Then he touches the diamond and leaves Elliot behind, hoping that his friends would be satisfied with un-possessed Elliot. And just when he would think he can finally rest, Sirleck will get him. ( ... possibly with diamond still near ... what will happen when Sirleck touches the diamond?) Not necessarily, even though Tara and Andrea are gone, there's still the threat of aberrations in Moperville, so I would imagine Helena and Demetrius would try to find someone else to help deal with them. I know Immortals hate aberrations, but it also seems obsessive compulsive with Helena and Demetrius that aberrations must be destroyed when found. I wonder if Jerry has noticed the increase in aberrations in Moperville. I'm sure the Colonel is aware but I'm not surprised he doesn't seem bothered by it. Uh ... not to underestimate number of potential vampire hunters in Moperville, but I suspect with Tara gone Helena would try to recruit MAIN EIGHT to do that. Which would keep them relatively close to Elliot.
  7. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

That is possible. My point was, that while they might "glance" at Diane at school, she wasn't close enough to be usable. It was only when they noticed Susan - which likely happened in France - when they might realized that strengthening Susan's relationship with Nanase could easily result in vampire hunter protecting Elliot. Or two, in case they remembered Diane and predicted they will get together. Especially considering that it is certain they knew that Nanase is homosexual and will abandon Elliot eventually: this is kind of prediction which must be easy to make. Hmmmm ... we can continue to speculate what else they might done if not for the improper reset - or if the reset would come little later. Perhaps they would make Sarah ditch Elliot sooner (or Elliot ditch Sarah, but they might not have enough power for THAT) resulting in Elliot being free when watching TNG and Susan totally seducing him (inadvertently, of course). Or ... maybe they wouldn't do anything because they would predict it will get ok like this anyway. (Yes, I know that the reset will need to be LOT later for directly influence Sarah's relationship with Elliot - but they might planted something indirect.)
  8. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Can you imagine Colonel saying "I'm good, but nobody is THAT good"? Taking Magus seems better. Also, you may underestimate how long will take to find suitable host. Seem Sirleck thinks it's something taking lot of time.
  9. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I meant more Nanase's interaction with Diane, and of course this is if they followed Nanase for a bit as well before her trip to France. Helena and Demetrius are older when they started following Elliot, it's possible they looked at not only his circle of friends at the time but the friends and aquaintances of those friends trying to determine who among them would be capable to protecting Elliot should anything happen to them. Maybe Helena and Demetrius foresaw the danger of being improperly reset and needed to set up a backup plan. Adding Diane is unnecessary complication. It's more likely they looked at both schools, noticed Susan and decided it will be good idea to MAKE her Elliot friend. Although I still think they only noticed her when she was paired with Nanase.

Who wants to bet she wastes over an hour doing that? "Waste"? You mean you don't train unarmed combat this way?
  11. This injustice must be corrected. TO NETFLIX! I saw few episodes in TV, but even before that I saw Serenity the movie. Still considers Serenity to be condensed Firefly. And Netflix doesn't work here. ... wait, there are only 14 episodes? I though it has several seasons ... that explains why I wasn't able to find the next episode on TV. It ended.
  12. Story Friday April 15, 2016

Of course it's just matter of time. On the other hand, the sun will only last about 5 billion years ... Except the phone voice specifically says the Immortals (plural) aren't watching "your boy" 24-7 anymore. Why possess magus when Magus would be in his debt? Sure it's a backup plan, but why *not* possess Elliot? Win-win. The voice says "your boy" because Sirleck didn't bothered to explain that it's not his idea but Magus. BTW, do you also have the feeling that the information might actually be outdated? I mean, they certainly didn't watched Elliot all the time when there were guiding Andrea, but now Andrea is going home, so ...
  13. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Well ... on one hand, he fills the vow older Jerry gave. On the other, it seems that doesn't really like it and would prefer it to be over. Sure it's not as bad as what Pandora or Colonel are doing. That's EXACTLY what they should have done, yes. Although I'm not so sure French authorities were better equipped. I don't think Diane interacted with Elliot or Nanase enough for them to remember her, much do something just because Susan is her sister. It's possible they followed Nanase, yes. Susan was either "collateral" or they though they can guide her to be Elliot's girlfriend when Nanase realizes she's homosexual. They told them about hammers and how can they be used, but didn't added the bit that they were actually created to ENCOURAGE that behaviour. And yes, while the hammers were useful and they might just skip that bit to look more friendly or something, it IS possible they predicted it will lead to them getting in contact with Jerry and maybe even that he will then help them ...
  14. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I wouldn't be sure young Jerry isn't the same. He was lot of jerk when he was young last time and created the hammers, wasn't he? It's pretty common kind of behaviour between immortals (and Fae) in other "worlds" too. Well except I think Pandora is behind the clog/rise in ambient magic (which may or may not be related to the "egg" challenge) which seems important for the "destroy the world" plan - but started years ago.
  15. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I dunno, i just get the feeling that her objectives, after the argument with Adrian, shifted. Like before it was 'causing chaos for funzies' nonsense, but after she had an actual goal. I think she PREDICTED Adrian's reaction and had the plan already in progress. Just like she actually predicted that Magus won't make Edward to kill Abraham. It certainly seemed she already knew exactly what to do after the argument ...
  16. It's hard to stay inside main 8 if there are more that 8 characters to cover in Firefly ...
  17. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Things changed? What makes you think Magus returning to the physical plane is NOT an important step in Pandora's plan anymore? (Just because she scared him a little? Can be part of plan.) Sure. If Pandora doesn't believe there's a difference, then my feeble attempts to convince her might convince her that I can be amusing in a not-under-attack situation. But how are you so sure she doesn't see any difference? It's the age and clairvoyance. No. What angels? There doesn't seem to be any angels in EGS, although this guy might try to pretend being one. I suppose Immortals have more side than average parliament. Remember that Jerry is not exactly on Helena and Demetrius's side ... Well, if stopping Pandora is really that important like the white immortal seem to think, then good communication might've killed Elliot.
  18. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I said recruiting, not "turning into unwitting pawns." Are you sure trying to tell Pandora there is difference is safe? I mean, I'm sure she doesn't see any.
  19. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

Yes. Well, the negative bit is that as a result, he might've been less careful with the TF gun than he should. In EGS, transformations are crazily safe, but I don't think they know it in-universe. In fact ... WE know that Tedd is genderfluid and always was, but if Edward is afraid that overuse of TF gun have sideefects, it is not completely illogical concern. (Not speaking about the fact that Tedd DID caused AT LEAST two incidents resulting in lot of emotional harm, and while Magus can be blamed in Elliot's case, I don't think there are any other mitigating circumstances for the Sarah incident other than him being young. So he definitely could've been more careful.)
  20. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Hmm, his line in the last panel does point in the direction of him acting on someone else's plan. Sounds more like "crazy" than "acting on someone's else's plan". It's also possible that the "different" person who prepared those plans was Kentucky Fried Immortal when younger (and saner), although ... how detailed could these plans be if prepared in advance?
  21. NP: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

A while. There were many duck faces in Squirrel Prophet. What duck faces? Oh. I see ... Well you certainly need LOT of points in unarmed combat for that. He's still young. Will need lot of training to get to his father mastery.
  22. Sketchbook: April 12, 2016

I was surprised you didn't edited it after you found the sketchbook and added the link. This could also be a Susan dream, we know she likes to watch, so what if the dream started off with this image, but then ended up a little more intimate? Or it can be Susan's nightmare. Or Elliot's dream - again. ... because everyone is usual gender? Or because at Tedd's, it wouldn't be costumes? ... didn't noticed at first. I think I saw too much Tom&Jerry cartoon when young. And I might not be only one - I mean, looking at their colors, this might be deliberate Tom&Jerry reference. ... the 1955 one.
  23. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

I don't think Pandora has any intention of actually killing anyone, I mean she probably expects that what she's doing could lead to casualties, but she's more about the surprise so she wants to see if the people she throws this stuff at can overcome it. This guy has an outright agenda to kill Elliot, and while "complicated mess" could mean anything, it might involve killing Elliot's friends as well. Well, she could've easily played him and predicted his attempt at Elliot's life will fail. Note that we are still not sure what was her plan with the fireball and Dex, Grace and Noah. It might not be her intention to actually kill someone, but nevertheless she got close. Yes. She already recruited Dex ... Justin, Luke, Rhoda ... likely Catalina ... possibly this guy ... hey, she might've already recruited YOU and you just didn't noticed yet. Check your back. At least if you live in Moperville. Not nearly as much as from Pandora. He's more psychopathic, but seems less crazy. Pandora is much crazier in relatively safer directions.
  24. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

I would actually say that he doesn't KNOW it, he more feels it. It might actually be worse because Tedd didn't understood it better. Definitely. On the other hand, anything else WE do won't change Tedd's position either. We are sadly unable to help. You can't really expect a kid going through puberty to react logically period, but it's true the other parts make it even worse. Puberty is age where lot of kids lose trust in their parents without any reason at all. Obviously it's worse when there are actual reasons for it. That is possible. Would Tedd at this stage trust him to do so? I doubt it. He would fear, and justifiably so, that Mr. Verres would instead consider it 'another symptom of something being wrong with that boy.' Also, there is the additional problem that it would be Tedd telling him how it works. It would be more effective if Mr. Verres would find/analyse this spell independently, but I don't think he would (more specifically, I don't see any scenario where that would happen.) Unfortunately, no matter how hard you tries to not blame the victim, there are situations where any other solution than victim doing something differently is almost impossible to happen. For example, if bullying happen and only the bully and the victim knows about it, how can anyone reacts without the victim telling something? It's not his FAULT when he doesn't tell, but until he does (or until the bully does the mistake to attack again when someone else is looking) nothing will happen.
  25. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

The question is what would Edward do if he would get the new information about abnormal hight aberration activity in area before he get the information about Nanase knowing she's Susan's sister. This question might easily end unanswered by them telling the sister part first or both in quick succession, of course, but I still like my answer. Also, she might not let herself like the stuff. It could turn her into nerd.
