Greg Grace's son? He doesn't seem to be seyunolu ... also, he obviously didn't known her before.
  2. Story: Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Oh. So it wasn't that he just don't like Pandora. There is specific "job" which would be "done" with specifically Elliot being dead. Also, there seem to be some reason why killing Elliot now (or in time he would need to mislead someone else) wouldn't help. Hmmm ... how far exactly did he go when disappeared? Was it just for show and he actually stayed in the same place? Or did he actually go somewhere else so Tara and/or Helena and Demetrius wouldn't see him and then returned? When? He tried to murder one of main characters. It's normal to not like him. Especially considering he didn't provided any reasons for that. Abraham at least had reason (also, changed mind). And Damian might not actually want to kill any of main characters.
  3. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

That question would work for ANY Noriko other child. Only answer to this was to make it due to Adrian Raven, and that's not really plausible because it would require him to know and he's not likely to keep it secret from Edward.

I wouldn't rule out they get to the same costume party ... if it would be BIGGER party. This party looks pretty small, which boosts the question of how they got that close without noticing. Meanwhile, Susan can totally accidentally dress as Troi. Of course that is ELLEN as Jadzia and Nanase as WORF. (And Greg as Sisko.)
  5. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

While Mr Verres is unlikely to read this forum, personally I would assume people will be more likely to change their behaviour if you tell them that the action is transphobic than if you tell them THEY are transphobic. Which is the reason why I would use the "transphobic" label only for people who refused to change (or are actively resisting) and not for people who really don't know. Racism and sexism are harder case, as people usually ARE aware of existence of other races and sex and while they may not know why some things are racist/sexists, there are plenty of stuff for which it's obvious.

Not this or this? In games like Skyrim and Fallout it's mostly a case of "this quest is given by this NPC, and were we to allow them to be killed it'd either mean we'd have to replace them via another NPC or cut that quest out entirely"* combined with "this game is on average 20-60 hrs long***, and with the possibility of multiple factions, betrayals, and the insanely complex and complicated clockwork world and physics simulation we've created, it'd be really bad form to allow quest givers to die."** *Bethesda does both of these. The former means the characters are SUPER bland and generic, and the latter would be really bad design as the default in a game like what they make. Too easy to accidentally kill someone, or for them to get accidentally killed by the hundreds of potential threats they face in the wasteland even when you're merely in the area. **This is mostly covered by the first asterisk but it can't be over emphasized. These kinds of worlds are monstrously large and the potential combinations of possibilities approach "stars in the universe" levels of big. The devs have no idea what will befall any one quest giver at any time. ***These are REALLY conservative numbers. I spent 200 hrs in Oblivion before beating the main quest in my first playthrough. 300 in my second. 80 in Skyrim and never beat it. These games (by default) need some kind of allowance to get these quests to kick off. Invincible quest givers is the least bad option, honestly. Yes. That's what I'm speaking about. Alternatively, with quest depending on each other, the game might easily became unwinable in like 70% cases even with PC being extra careful.
  7. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

Nah, it was behind her back. Nevertheless, she didn't took it well. ... that would end even worse than last time.
  8. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

You mean we didn't SAW him being reared by Raven. There's not that many characters in correct age.
  9. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

Wait what? I didn't know there are more than two. While it seems that way for now, I think Ashley would get to Charlotte and Diane's current level quite fast. ... on the other hand, Diane is likely to get more informations, at least regarding Susan, and if they are going to train her, it is pretty good reason to bring her completely into the circle eventually. Edward would still perceive her as child. Adrian Raven might be better, but I'm not sure if he would really consider it important enough to talk with Edward about it - remember, they don't have best relationship, and it could easily sound like him trying to educate Edward about how to educate Tedd.
  10. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

It still doesn't make any sense. With the amount of information we have the blond 12 year old with the baseball cap who frequents the comic shop is just as likely as Noah. ...gets about as much screen time too... I like this speculation. See, this is how you should do it. The age would certainly fit better.
  11. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

Right. It's one of the things which can make what they did more explainable, but still not best idea. And yes, they might've armed the kids without leading them to the aberration AND if they feared surprise attack, they might help guarding them. Maybe the aberration would attack anyway and the result will be same, but at least they would TRY to solve it better. ... somehow I find hard to believe noone would notice Arthur Arthur being body-snatched, but there may be less obvious ways how to change his behaviour ... including plain bribe. From Sirlec. Well obviously. This, however, didn't changed - this was ALWAYS the worst case scenario of informations about magic going public. What changed is that Arthur basically gave up the position he assumed he will be unable to defend and withdraw to position he believes to be better defensible. Which doesn't sound like THAT bad strategy. Um, why would Grace NOT have mentioned Diane looking like Susan to Tedd, especially when she saw what a big deal it seemed to be to Ellen and Nanase? Maybe Tedd just wasn't interested in finding out if Susan had a twin sister she didn't know about for some reason. Tedd is one-tracked enough to not really became interested in DNA samples while working on something else. Hmm, I'm not so sure. Edward may know about Diane's existence, but I doubt he'd blurt out something like that in front of Elliot and Nanase before he was sure that they know Diane is Susan's sister. I didn't say it would be likely. I said it would be funny. He certainly knows about Diane's existence, he likely know or suspect her talent, but yes, I doubt he'd blurt out something like that unless he already decided that he would need to tell them anyway. On the other hand, if he would really plan to use Nanase for protecting Diane (due to the fact that as already mentioned, his options are limited now), he MIGHT decide she's in need to know.
  12. NP: Friday, April 8, 2016

Wait. I though that most NPC are unkillable because the chance of friendly fire is big enough to make players complain the game is too hard if they kill something by mistake.
  13. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

Except that Diane does know about Noriko. Tengu mentioned her by name (although Diane may have left by then, but Charlotte was there for all the expository shouting, she might even have heard Not-Tengu say that he would kill Noriko's children) she was there when wolf talked about how the one who last took out Not-Tengu was a legendary monster hunter, and we saw that Charlotte filled her in on why Not-Tengu was there. So she knows that Nanase's aunt is a legendary monster hunter who fought a big winged bigfoot monster with mind control powers. She might not draw the immediate connection with Tedd, but since she's likely to be introduced to him as "Nanase's Cousin" she'll probably figure it out eventually once they meet; the comic has shown that she is fairly smart and good at deduction. I think that yes, she left by then, and that we readers were only one hearing about Noriko's children. But you have point about Charlotte possibly telling her and definitely that even without the name, she might connect Nanase's cousin and the legendary monster hunter. You make it sounds like a bad thing, but are you SURE the paranormal division would deal with them quickly enough under Arthur Arthur's orders? Helena and Demetrius are obviously much better at finding those aberrations.
  14. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

The fact her attempts were very lame might also have some influence here. While it's possible that desire to protect his friends and family put the alternate on the road to becoming Lord Tedd, I don't think the road would be so fast and straight that Verres would be actually trying to prevent that by pretending the family doesn't need protection. Also, did you notice Lord Tedd's father? ... it's possible that it was Lord Tedd's father DEATH which put Lord Tedd on this path. Otherwise, it would make sense he would try to prevent it.

... in videogames, anything which is not background is obviously for you to take. Even when nailed down. (In minecraft, background = bedrock)
  16. NP: Friday, April 8, 2016

In some games you can't really NOT point the gun - it's always out and ready. At least in some FPS it's justifiable, but yeah, it should be possible to hide it or point it at ground around NPCs. Not "refuse". It should make the only option to talk about being the "Don't point that on me" or similar. With the IMPORTANT talk options - those the character needs to talk about to progress - being only accessible with gun hidden. There is also option for lazy developers, though: make impossible to trigger the talk with gun out. Like, when you have the gun out, cursor is always crosshair and clicking is shooting, and you need to hide the gun to get other cursors like talk.
  17. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

Oh. Right. (rereading) True. And he might not be on good terms with Edward but he would likely mention it to him. So ... let's say he killed one in last year, between Sisters II and now, and considers it coincidence. (Alternatively: Raven just now, standing over body of aberration: "Hey, this doesn't look like the aberration I was looking for - no spider features at all. Does it mean there are TWO aberrations in city? Maybe I should tell Edward.")
  18. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

True. Noone knows, as they are not supposed to exists. I still expect them being recognizable. Yet Adrian didn't saw anything in Diane and Jerry didn't saw anything in Susan. BTW, I'm not sure if Grace is extremely powerful. She may be normal for someone with Lespuko genes.
  19. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

Ashley, Luke, Diane, Charlotte ... you don't count Sam yet, right? Or Luke's friends. And Noah (but they didn't tell anything NEW to HIM).
  20. Story: Wednesday, April 6, 2016

I don't think Immortal would be allowed to do that ... but yes, I totally see scientist not realize it. In fact, the biggest problem with your scenario is that the scientist might not KNOW about immortals. We don't know if Raven have any DNA. But definitely worth trying, yes. Susan trying to look like Vulcan doesn't seem so improbable. But anyway, this doesn't explain how would Adrian overlook that Diane is part elf. He noticed Grace and Ellen first day they were in school. The reason he is in school is likely to find magical talents. He might overlook (or not care about) Diane's talent for summoning if she wouldn't have any magic to speak about, but to overlook her being partly immortal?
  21. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

I disagree, 1 aberration every couple years or so, maybe, it's bound to happen, but several in a year would be worrying, either implicating that there's a rise in the aberration population, or a large migration event. What's going on now could be considered a large migration event if they're drawn to the magic in the area, but if they really are being organized by someone or something, then that's even more worrying. I'm not sure what you disagree with. I was talking about how the situation looked on New Year. Edward likely wasn't aware about how many aberrations Andrea killed and when he will be told, he is likely to change mind about that, but he didn't EXPECTED Diane is in any danger back on New Year party. I already mentioned that Edward may say "Damn we need to do something with Diane" upon hearing about the aberrations even before Nanase and Elliot mention her. Or even better: "Damn, we must give Susan and Diane better protection".
  22. Story: Friday April 8, 2016

... seriously? He may not know details, but I find very unlikely DGB didn't noticed that Nanase awakened in France. I don't think he was dramatic just for being dramatic. Sure, he doesn't want to kill them, and there likely aren't many alternative options, but on the other hand he really wanted them to not talk, so he likely wanted to scare them as much as possible. ... yup. The importance of keeping magic secret was really much lower after that. Still, there are other informations the "circle of eight" have which is still important to keep secret. It was not betrayal, but the second condition - of keeping the circle at 8 - seems broken already. There is also no indication that he DIDN'T. He certainly talked more with at least Tedd, Grace, Elliot and Ellen than what we saw. ... yup, that talk was SO bad I'm not sure if Mr. Illuminated or Tara revealed Ashley more than Elliot. No malice, but ... no other aforethought either.
  23. Story: Friday, April 1st 2016

Or at least not risk doing so without reason - and being man is not reason for her, she don't care about that.
  24. Story: Monday, April 11, 2016

If its regular enough, there could be a certain sense of comfort in its predictability. Remember that if you rely on Murphy's law, it won't happen. ... right. She's not reluctant to share. She just doesn't like they don't have other option. The fact she have no idea about Noriko might help Diane not discuss her. At first I assumed by "he" you were referring to Elliot, but now I see you could have meant Mr. Verres. In which case, it's a little bit freaky to realize he likely *knew* exactly who Diane was at New Year's, and that she was Susan's twin. In which case, it's also a bit irresponsible, knowing Susan's history, not to have given Diane any warning or protection.... He might not expect that Diane is in any danger in city as full of magic users as Moperville. I'm sure Adrian is allowed to kill aberrations who get near school. (In fact, he might've killed several in last year and not consider it noteworthy.)
