Just because this option make sense it doesn't invalidate other options. In fact, if Nanase will just try Cheerleadra now and succeed, we will STILL not be sure what was the reason, unless she WAS trying Cheerleadra specifically before as well and mentions it now. And about TF gun modifying personality ... it can be argued either way - you may count changing sexual preference (adding heterosexual) as personality modification or you can argue that TF gun doesn't change personality itself at all and everything is done by hormones or something which doesn't count as part of personality.

The possibility is funny enough for her to do it at least once, but possibly not with Justin. Unless ... can existence of one spellbook for given person prevent creation of another? It's not thesaurus. The spell keeps changing: if you say it the way it was yesterday, it wouldn't work, but the book always contains the working version. (I think there was an explanation somewhere based on the spell wiping itself from memory on casting, proving that D&D magic is trolling even more than EGS magic. Alternatively, the preparation of spell is not just memorization, you actually do part of the spell casting in the preparation step.) The new ability should be suspicious itself. If he would take at least the same attention to what Mr. Verres is saying as we do, he would know that Greg was talked out from teaching the anime martial arts BECAUSE what it's actually doing is leading to persons awakening sooner or later. So, the logical conclusion is that he was NOT paying the same attention. Or he has some misconception, similarly how Susan though that she will know she have new spell. ... and yes, I hope they will talk about it enough for someone to remember Justin might need to get tested.

If the HDDs are in THAT bad shape, it would mean that some data would be completely lost. Then it's question of format: some formats are extremely hard to recover even partial data from if the file is not complete. But based on the lack of details about the HDD damage and recovery process, seems that they don't consider getting help from us. At least not yet.

Maybe they manage to keep something secret? ... ok, I know, unlikely ... ... exactly. I would definitely like to know what was the reason ... all three options (Cheerleadra, Tara, Immortal) would make sense.

That would be great idea, but ... I'm convinced magic is making hard to find what changed DELIBERATELY. As a way to troll magic users. Therefore, it will find way to prevent the version control system from working. (It's not hard. Replace words with synonyms, alter spacing ...). Justin wasn't around when Edward was waving around with the awakening detection wand. Apparently, sharing information or not, it didn't occurred to him that if he's not sure, he should simply let Edward test him. I though explanation for that is simply that spellcasters of legend is well-enough paid job, but you may have point ...

Unfortunately, Elliot is not Seyunolu and doesn't get new forms from TF gun, so designing some wouldn't help him. He would need to get such form as new spell, and he's not likely to.

Well, it MIGHT've been only Dan being nerdy and wanting to nitpick that noone else cares about stuff like that ... I think they look risky even IN the context. They suggest alternative explanation about what happened with the phone ... although if that would be true (and Dan is not likely to do that) Elliot would definitely notice sooner. I still think we lost more that we gained, but it may be only that I'm used to how it worked ...

As programmer, I would say that HTML is much harder to filter and therefore more likely to contain bug in processing ... as a forum poster, yes please. ... I see you already did. Thank you. I don't like losing baggage no matter how heavy it is.

Good luck with recovery. There are definitely posts I would like preserved. Meanwhile, can you get the option of editing the source back? I mean, write the posts in bbcode instead of WYSIWYG.

I'm not sure if prolonging this storyline with more forms is actually worth it ... but maybe it's just because I'm not interested in male forms the same way I'm interested in female ones Also, maybe Dan will surprise with something ... like, another bit of general mechanism?

I still wonder if his "phone integration" allows him to use something else than call. Like ... SMS? GPS? Internet? Also, is this "integration" specific for Cheerleadra form and Heidi has "normal" hidden pocket, or does Heidi have this power too? I think she check at least twice a week, maybe more often, if something new appeared ON THE END. Re-reading whole book for case something appeared in middle? That would be too time-consuming to do weekly even if she would want to. So, IMHO the information about new outfit appeared in the middle and THAT's why she overlook it. I'm not sure NANASE always does. Remember, it's very verbose and it's making up new words.
