I hope Ellen is acting on her own will now, but the "groar" isn't exactly reassuring.

A lot of real-world people have parents who aren't evil, and are even well-meaning, who try to change who their children are. Does the lack of ill intent justify sending someone through so-called conversion therapy? Just because you brought another person into the world doesn't mean you have ownership of that person's identity. I'm probably not the only one for whom this turn of events hits a bit close to home (my best friend is dead because of this crap).

Well, Dan did write this entire arc around Pandora's struggle as a parent, and we have the dubious examples of Nanase and her Mom (concealing magic from her daughters and forcing them toward marriage and family), Susan's mother (blaming her own betrayal on all men), and Tedd's mother (I really don't have to explain this one, do I?). Edward definitely has his heart in the right place, but he's managed Tedd like Eisenhower managed the Cold War, making most of the the really important decisions without telling his son.
As for Ma and Pa Dunkel, Ma's the smarter one, but that's not saying a lot. They're nice and their funny and they haven't got a clue.
It's really none of my business or any of ours, but I don't remember Dan saying anything about his own family.

"Society is to blame" is an overused and abused defense.
The defendant's background obviously has some influence on their criminal actions.
But criminal actions are still criminal.  Whether or not the defendant didn't know the actions were criminal, or thought the actions were justifiable, doesn't change the fact that they were criminal actions.
After the defendant is convicted of the criminal actions, background is a valid consideration when determining the degree of punishment and method of rehabilitation.  But that comes after acknowledging that the defendant's actions were criminal.

Unfortunately, Magus is exhibiting behaviors that would seem to indicate that Magus alone knows what is best and right.  Evidence and the opinions of others are irrelevant.

Wild chickens aren't all that numerous.  The rest of them are selected on factors a lot more commercial than whose eggs they brood.

Both true: fruit is intended to be eaten BUT fruit is not intended to be eaten by human, who sometimes cut the seeds out (apple) or crunch them with teeth and even in the lucky case when he eat it with the fruit he then flush it to toilet which is rarely good condition for growth. Especially if the fruit was transfered hundreds of kilometres out of zone it's able to grow in.
And her clone knows exactly how she feels ... and decided to be female.
Bell's theorem and few related quantum physics properties suggest it does care. Still, even with superposition theoretically holding infinite amount of data in single particle, humans are more complicated ... because we ARE from particles, and lot of them. Personally I believe that brain includes system for amplifying quantum effects which produces free will ...
You can never get the truth out of someone, no matter if by torture or bribe. Most you can get is what he knows or thinks he know, but truth? Most people will not even tell you the factorization of 1100771835408811 !
It will, until someone point out the problem to him.
I think he never though about pirating so much to realize that copying dress may be copyright violation (although ... quick google search suggest that it isn't, unless it's jewellery or pattern ; and trademark is separate issue).
Funny that the same doesn't work for mass produced music or software. Well, someone got good lawyers and lobbyists soon enough, someone didn't ...
But we are not talking about what's legal or moral ; we are talking about Elliot and he will be likely to overthink it and get guilt trip no matter of what makes sense ...
Note that those clothes don't last long. I would say that they would work as nice demos.

Regarding Elliot's conjured clothing, I'd draw a distinction between two categories... one of which, I suspect, will not interest him any time soon.
Haute couture stuff, runway showpieces, fursuits, and the like - those are pieces of art, and part of their draw is their uniqueness. If he conjures a duplicate, that's taking something important away from the designers and purchasers.
Stuff that is in mass production... well, it's in mass production. There's no uniqueness to take away. And his conjuring one does not deprive the sellers of one, so he isn't taking anything physical from them. At most, he's taking away a potential sale... and were it not for his powers, he wouldn't be buying a dress anyway.
The ethics get slightly more complicated when he creates clothes for his sister or female friends, but it's not much different than a group of girls trading clothes among themselves.
Although I do think he'd bug the holy cr** out of the other contestants on Project Runway.

Elliot doesn't need to copy clothes; she's already produced originals. Heck, as long as she's thinking with might and main about clothes and such, wouldn't this be the perfect time for her to discover her true calling? Fashion, of course!

The issue I think, is everyone's definition of normal. The word "normal" gets thrown around so much these day, but I honestly don't think people truly use it properly.
Normal, or status quo gives the impression of similarity and familiarity if you see someone doing something you would do, it's normal, someone has the same skin, eye or hair color as you, that's normal. The problem is, no one is going to be 100% like you. So really, the true definition of "normal" would be "me". Sure there's tolerance towards minor differences, but what people consider a minor difference varies from person to person. On the extreme end, people see someone committing acts of violence and say that's not normal. but at the same time, the quest for normalcy is littered with violence.
Being the same should not be normal, being different should be.
I should also add that Elliot is challenged by the fact that the poster asked not to tell anyone. So does Elliot betray the poster by telling Tedd? Does Elliot betray Edward by divulging information to the poster? So far Edward has been pretty lenient because all of the cases of other people finding out stuff have been accidental or beyond anyone's control. Edward would probably be mad if Elliot just up and told some complete stranger things about magic. Tedd might also not want Elliot to be the cause of magic changing either.
    Looks female to me.

Wizards need money too, and magically creating gold or currency is generally frowned upon by the Department of the Treasury.  The Wizards of the Coast found a means of transforming cardboard into dollars that didn't violate the laws of physics or economics.
As for being on the payroll of the FBI branch that, in casa Verres, is called Dad's Government Business?   The agency acts within the FBI as an official government service.  And like many government offices, they are woefully underfunded.  But Director Liefield is someone who actually is an expert in the subject, not a career civil serpent, bureaucrat, or politician.  The only way they can operate freely through government shakeups and without excessive political oversight is to have independent funding.
Wizards of the Coast, along with the Washington Wizards and the Wizards of Waverly Place, are the source of DGB's income.
