Recent NP comics tell us that it is not unusual for Pandora to sleep for a week at a time. http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=491 But this comic tells us that she took more than one nap between Friday night and Sunday morning. I am compelled to ask the question. When does a mad demigoddess sleep?

Why did I fail to notice this the first time. At the time we read about the battle with Tara, there was a fair amount of speculation (wishful thinking) that "Elliot Dunkel is The-Unfortunately-Named-Cheerleader-Themed-Super-Heroine" would not be reported beyond the mall. How often do comic books or cartoons make "Secret Identity Cover Up" a story? In my experience, these stories almost always feel like a wasted issue or episode. If we have learned anything from the news coverage of scandals, creating elaborate lies to cover up what has been discovered only makes it worse you. I hope Dan has the characters deal with the exposure rather than try to deny it.

So Pandora pops into the security office of the mall, distracts the staff into leaving the room, and watches the security camera footage from last night. She may recognize Voltaire and/or Les Immortels. She will be impressed by Ashley. She could have a few choice words about mall security. Or is that too reasonable? As for the Glasses, they probably stay in place the same way Teddy Roosevelt's glasses stay in place on Mt Rushmore. And why the question about Quebec. Les Immortels are not French. They are Québécois who just happened to be in Paris when Nanase and Susan encountered the aberration. I have no evidence to support this claim, so it may belong in the poly tics thread.

Granted: You can wish for anything you want as long as you are alive. There is no guarantee of wish fulfilment. I wish NASA would develop safe, reliable, and cheap transportation that can allow humans and their cargo to travel at one tenth the speed of light in space and reduce the effect of gravity on the vessel within an atmosphere by up to 90%.

Just saw an interesting feature on Béla and Márta Károlyi. Not much new information. Their lives have been so public since they came to the US that even casual sports fans already know quite a bit about them. But it was still a nice tribute.

Yes, those who know of Noriko know that she is estranged from Edward and Tedd. So Jerry probably believed that it was not his place to reveal secrets about Tedd's mother to Tedd's friends. Probably a good idea since Tedd was likely not aware of all the details himself.

I never had the impression that Les Immortels were forcefully reset. They just did not handle their own "death" well. As for their alignment? They firmly believe that they are doing the right thing for the right reason by tailing Elliot. Even if they don't know WHY they are tailing Elliot. So they are probably "good". Or at least their players checked that box on the character sheet. Their place on the Lawful / Order - Disorder / Chaotic spectrum is a little harder to determine. We know that human law does not mean much to immortals. And Immortal "law" appears to be laughably easy to work around. So we might need to determine their attitudes regarding the ancient concepts of Order and Chaos. Or perhaps we should consider their place on the Creative - Destructive spectrum proposed by the Erisian movement.

I am thinking Pandora has little interest in romantic activities of Sarah or Elliot unless they somehow affect Tedd. But if that is the case, and Pandora took no offence to Sarah's low level flirting with Sam at the game, then Pandora does not think Sarah's interests have an impact on Tedd. Pandora does not acknowledge or support the One True Threesome.

Why would the Scouters break loudly? The Scouters were built by military contractors (that is, the lowest bidders) for the forces of Frieza. Frieza believed himself to be the most powerful fighter in the universe, so there was no need to have scouters capable of processing levels higher than Frieza's. Frieza did not want anyone, especially his own forces, to know exactly how powerful he was. So the scouters his forces used should not have been capable of accurately displaying levels significantly above that of his own elite forces, or the most powerful enemies his forces had so far encountered. And as the scouters were valuable military equipment, they included self-destruct features to prevent them from falling into enemy hands. A sufficiently powerful overload could easily trigger that function. Edit: Not Canon. Just a bit of extrapolation based on my own experience.

At least this confirms that our favorite lying liar who lies believed he was acting within the limits of Immortal Law. If he had any doubt, there would have been more interfering parties than just Les Immortels. Although I am now imagining a situation after Dame Tara had been distracted by Ashley. The Unfortunately-Named-Cheerleader-Themed-Super-Heroine was speaking and the Kentucky Fried Immortal made his dramatic entrance. If the other immortals had forced him to reset there in the Mall, Tara might very well think that the Elliot had somehow incapacitated the immortal who had been guiding her. If Tara was angry before...

Ever go to a little diner or restaurant featuring a big refrigerated case of deserts with pies that seem to go on forever? Now imagine Curly Howard behind that counter with Moe Howard and Larry Fine at either end... You have no difficulty imagining the ensuing mayhem, making the carnage utterly pointless. Now imagine Moperville's Rich and Larry with female transformation abilities. Pandora could anticipate 99.9% of all possible outcomes that would result from the ensuing wacky hijinks. That exercise would, for her, be utterly pointless.
