Authority is useful to human society If there wasn't some one with whom everyone else could disagree, then we would need to spend all our time disagreeing with each other over every little thing But with an Authority figure, we can all disagree with the authority Thus we can reach agreement and actually accomplish something

Me too It was my day off so I was sleeping late My Mom called me, but wasn't able to describe what was happening very well Years later, she would tell me about my Dad's stroke in almost the same way Dementia is not the filter though which you want to receive news As for Challenger? I was in the Student recreation center in the basement under the cafeteria It was lunch and, as usual, the Student Services director had the big screen tuned into Scrabble hosted by Chuck Woolery when the special report interrupted the game What struck me was the next day when I walked into a 3rd story classroom overlooking the centre square of the campus and saw the oversized US flag flying at eye level -
So Susan, while you are fighting for your life, discovering that your n-great grandfather is still alive, that he has a daughter (your aunt) of which he knew nothing, and both of them are at the school on the other side of town, the guy everyone assumes is your boyfriend along with his sister and current girlfriend are abducted by a vampire and and alien for a bizarre occult ritual... Yes, simply giving each other "space" is certainly all the emotional support either of you needed

Yes, it was quite a reveal when Elliot finally admitted to himself that he enjoyed The-Unfortunately-Named-Cheerleader-Themed-Super-Heroine and the other female forms Such a reveal that getting the others to admit something similar might almost be seen as anticlimactic

Well... On the job, Edward is almost always putting the best interest of the public first The one time he put personal (family) interests first, he didn't even try to make it look like something else and had to accept actual consequences As for how he runs his own house, he remains consistent within what he believes to be the best interests of those in his house, he will listen to others in his house who may not share his views, and he does not change household policy based on the opinions and ambitions of his bosses and neighbors

Picture it, network television in the 1980s An elderly character with dementia symptoms (that varied by season, by episode, or even within episodes) called Sophia Petrillo (portrayed by Estelle Getty) becomes one of the most popular personalities on The Golden GIrls and related TV shows by simply saying any thought that may enter her head with no filter whatsoever (at least to the limit that a Mouse produced show could get away with that) So when will Ashley begin telling allegorical anecdotes of her childhood in the weird and fictitious land of California?

Grace so wants to spill all the beans Actually, I think she would like to go around the world and give one bean at a time to everyone on the planet Also, is The Ghost Shark now an EGS character we need to follow? How does Ghost Shark fit into the One True n-hedron?

Edward was not aware of Grace entering his home until after he arrived Before he realized who Grace actually was, Edward reprimanded Tedd Reminding him that Elliot and Sarah were the only people he was permitted to bring into the house There was no reason Edward would have anticipated Grace seeking out himself or Tedd before that event If someone with Grace's level of power could enter the Verres house without triggering at least an alert to Edward, or more serious automatic defenses, the default condition was very likely in the range of passive monitoring So the question becomes, how has the security at the Verres house changed since then? Knowing that there would be several unusual, but authorized, visitors present at this party lead Edward to dial up or dial back the defenses? And does Tedd have enough authorized access to the security system to bring in an unexpected visitor today? Businesses will have a lobby or reception area where a person off the street can enter and wait while those on the inside determine where this visitor may go and who they can see Is the Verres house similarly partitioned? When Grace first arrived (if I remember correctly) she did not go directly to Tedd's room or lab but remained in the area immediately around the living room (admittedly, this could have been an artifact of Dan's artistic style at the time which had not yet mastered many architectural details)
