Exactly. Since they can not tell whether or not she has obtained a given piece of information (short of interrogating her near-constantly with some reliable lie-detection method), they are forced to assume that she might know the contents of ANY document that she comes within range of. That puts them in the dilemma of either exercising prior restraint (i.e. keeping her FAR AWAY from anything that they want to keep her from reading), or else watching to be sure that she is not in communication with any enemies that she might pass sensitive information to. The only alternative to this is to gain her loyalty to their own side sufficiently that they will be able to trust her.
-
They can't stop her from obtaining information in that manner, but they can make sure that she is not passing it on to any hostile organizations.

I wonder if Good Tom will get a spell for saving kitties next?

pinup Pinup: August 1, 2016 (Sarah and Susan: EGSCon #2)

When an enchantment's preset time runs out, it probably means that its initial charge of energy has been depleted, at which point it then has to switch over to being powered by the transformee's own energy supply, which the transformee can (usually) sustain or cut off as they wish once they are aware of the possibility of doing so. -

Yeah, any size that impairs mobility would probably be "too big", outside of occasional fetish service. -

Yes--Sarah has shown that she can use the watches (at least in high-magic zones where they can function), so if she wants one with "sexy Sarah" forms, then she can get one.- 15 replies

What would you like to see in the sketchbook?
ijuin replied to Tom Sewell's topic in EGS Sketchbook Discussion
Back in http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1937, where Tedd had just learned about having been Marked, Tedd speculates that trying to cast the spell again would, rather than reversing it, instead "double up" on the cute girliness. I would like to see what a "doubly girly Tedd" would look like (as opposed to "enhanced sexy" forms such as FV5). -
Well, now that she knows that Magic Itself is fighting against the "make magic mainstream" plan (assuming that Pandora believes him), she will have to adapt her overall plans. She still wants Adrian to be able to use his magic openly toward heroic ends, but it will have to be accomplished without the previously-planned flood of thousands of new Mages. She may have to start focusing on creating individual villains as opposed to just throwing magic at a bunch of people and seeing what sticks.

olympics Games of the XXXI Olympiad
ijuin replied to Pharaoh RutinTutin's topic in Off Topic Discussion
The objection is not to the use of a 10k dash, but rather to its placement within the city of Tokyo. There is literally nowhere in Tokyo where you have a road that remains straight for a ful ten kilometers--they all twist around all over the place (I have lived there). Also, running at supersonic speed only a few meters away from the glass windows on city buildings is probably a recipe for lots of broken glass. -
Grace has been explicitly stared to have the ability to use any form that she has been previously zapped with. Tedd zapped her with the half-Jeremy form way back before the first Sister arc, so it is part of her list of available form templates. Elliot, meanwhile, has been shown to be able to change into virtually any "girly" form that he can envision. We do not know the exact limits on size, musculature, proportions, etc., but Elliot may be capable of any form that is reasonably within the bounds of "human woman". I do not think that any of the Main Eight besides Grace need to have shapeshifter genetics for their transformations--it is all part of their own spells.

Well, most modern national Navies do authorize ship commanders to perform certain duties normally reserved for Judicial-branch types, such as officiating weddings aboard their ships or dispensing summary justice for offenses that do not rate a full Court-Martial.

Probably one of the latter two--Mr. Arthur Arthur is going to send her a recruitment offer that she can't refuse.

olympics Games of the XXXI Olympiad
ijuin replied to Pharaoh RutinTutin's topic in Off Topic Discussion
To keep things fair in inter-species competition, the Uryuoms should probably be disallowed from changing forms in the middle of an event--the conpetitors need to pick a form at the start and stick with it till the end. Otherwise, we are going to see decathletes swapping from running-and-jumping-optimized forms to throwing-optimized forms and back again. -
Enough of them seem to think that they do or should have the ability to call in an air strike to blow you up if you piss them off...

It's not about whether the supernatural powers acknowledge a marriage so much as whether the Earthly powers (e.g. government) do--certain rights (power of attorney, inheritance of titles and property, exemption from certain taxes) are only extended to recognized marital partners and children born within-wedlock. And that's not even mentioning how many societies used to (and some still do) criminalize the act of having sex with someone who is not one's government-recognized marital partner.

I thought that one was Cranium indulging in cosplay, with Dan hinting at Wolf's "fetish" for aliens.

Discussions regarding Pacing, Scheduling and Fanservice
ijuin replied to partner555's topic in General Discussion
"Basic" FV5, as applied to somebody who has zero feminine curves/boobs, is meant to produce a body comparable to Ellen's base form, which is curvy but mostly-reasonable. Adding FV5 on top of a form which already has curves/boobs (including "doubling up" on FV5, as when Ellen zaps herself) does go quite overboard, however. My personal "sweet spot" is somewhere around Nanase's base form.- 124 replies

On the "Practically Married" front, the idea that a marriage isn't "real" until government/religious authorities have certified it is a nineteenth century invention. Prior to that, many societies recognized "common law" marriages, where all that was required was for the couple to swear fealty to one another and to consummate the marriage, with no need for the permission of the Powers That Be.

Given how Elliot and boy-Sarah were cuddled up together at Grace's birthday party, I find it quite believable that Elliot would be willing to have sex as a girl with a boy-Ashley. I can also imagine Elliot being so mentally focused on the risks of Ashley becoming pregnant that Elliot overlooks the risk of "herself" getting pregnant. I find your fanfic scenario thus to be entirely plausible.
