That would make the "leave the game by removing the piece from the board" easier to handle since the player wouldn't need to touch the piece unless they were removing it from the board.

There have been times when Dan's stated the intent of ending a particular scene on a Friday so that the new scene would start at the beginning of the week.

The comics release schedule is out of whack due to a few delayed releases, Today's comic likely would have originally been a Monday comic rather than a Friday comic so I doubt it'll change scenes that quickly. That said though, we don't know what happened to Ellen and Nanase yet, did Elliot take them out on the way to pick up Ashley? Elliot doesn't have a coat on so maybe the plans changed again and Ellen was able to take the car after all? Or maybe Ashley got dropped off at the Dunkel's first, and Ellen's not ready to go meet up with Nanase yet. Remember, craps about to hit the fan and Magus needs Elliot and Ellen close to each other for the zappiness to happen, if Ashley and Elliot stays home and Nanase and Ellen are out solving mysteries, then the distraction won't work. Maybe having Elliot at a young age did it? Otherwise Elliot befriending Tedd might have done it. Or maybe Mr. and Ms. Dunkel have prior experience with these sorts of things that we don't know about. I'm pretty sure not only it wasn't the reason but Ashley didn't even told anyone. It was just illustration on how threacherously nice she is or something like that. It's also possible she's already returned the book. Very likely the book was from the school library (which she could easily return the book during school hours) or if it's from a city library, she might have returned it after school before she went to Elliot's.

Each player wouldn't have more than 3 enchantments at a time on them though, and when a player plays more transformation cards to buy another spot or gets transformed by someone else, the new enchantments would just replace the old, not get stacked so I don't think there'd be any worry about enchantments breaking the game.

I think I forgot a comma in my statement there, Edward having encountered Pandora before was in reference to the egg and hawk warning, I wasn't trying to imply he had known about her before then.

There probably needs to be intent on leaving when removing a piece, so that accidental removal doesn't count, also it there could be a time limit for how long a piece if off the board, because contact between the piece and the board wouldn't be broken for long when moving the piece from space to space (players could also slide the pieces along to maintain contact). Also like I said before, it'd be conditional, like when leaving the game it's not just taking the piece off the board, but letting it go with the intent of not playing anymore, this would have the added bonus of if 1 person had to quit (for whatever reason), the other players could continue without having to restart.

Isn't it redundant to post about sketchbook entries after Patreon posts have already been made? I feel it goes along with 2 people posting separate reaction threads for the same comic. I understand the enthusiasm for posting about it being posted to the sketchbook section since it is a separate site, but it might be better for keeping the subforum less cluttered if maybe we just make note in an already existing thread that the image was posted elsewhere.

It would seem like there would be a chain reaction should something happen to Adrian, Pandora and Tedd have bonded recently with Pandora even worrying about hurting Tedd, if Adrian was hurt badly or killed, Pandora would be enraged, and her actions could trigger a negative response from Tedd. Whether or not Voltaire planned this is uncertain but then again it wouldn't be called Plan CM if it was straightforward. I think Adrian's assumption as that Pandora was trying to be vague, that anyone else might not make the connection of the amulet to her, Adrian knew that the origin of the Pandora's Box myth was through a mistranslation of pithos and pyxis. If Edward knew about Pandora by name, but was not aware of the mistranslation, that amulet might not have clued him in. Of course considering Edward had encountered Pandora before when she gave him the warning about the egg and hawk, and her appearance on TV after Abraham's attack, even if Edward didn't know Pandora personally, he probably expected her to have been the one who manipulated Dex.

Hanma's game doesn't need to be sentient, it's could be enchanted with conditionals, each card probably has specific enchantments that activate when placed down, and considering the pieces look like the players, there might be a link between the piece and player in much the same manner as when Rhoda and Catalina had their enchantments linked. The pieces could also be linked to the board as well so that when the player(s) want to stop playing, they just remove their piece from the board and that undoes all the enchantments on them. I should add that in the case of the current game, it appears that Hanma probably set up the board for the players, which would have linked them all simultaneously, but I would imagine that in other instances where Hanma wouldn't be around, each player would play their own piece in order to link themselves to the game.

This is probably about as default a starting position as one could get in the game. Would probably be too confusing if they players all looked and behaved exactly the same, so a base outfit would at least get the point across. Also the pieces on the board looks like them as well.

I did not see kangaroo guy being an abberation. Though in hindsight I guess it makes sense that those that would scam people out of money would be like vampires right? I think you meant this page rather than repasting the link of Nanase thinking about baseball. It's hard to tell by the silhouette though, could be, or maybe another abberation, there are supposed to be many of them involved. Personally I'd wonder more about what the real deal is with scarf guy if we keep seeing him talking with different abberations.

In the case of Helena and Demetrius, an improper reset didn't mean they had to relearn how to walk and talk and form sentences like a child would, more like someone that had amnesia. All the cognitive stuff is there, but the knowledge of the previous life experiences is fragmented or missing entirely. As far as age goes, they'd still only be as "old" as from the last reset, whether that was proper or improper. So Helena and Demetrius would be about 2 years old in their current life, Jerry 2.0 is 6-8 months old, Pandora has been 299 for several centuries. Hanma is 14 years old and likely had chosen to look that age when interacting with humans.

Susan "likes to watch", but she caught her dad with another woman. I can see the experience being a reason that Susan would be wary of dating guys, the fear of them cheating, but I would have expected someone who experienced that trauma wouldn't want to even see others engaged in physical contact either. Or maybe Susan had been suppressing it all this time until she saw Catalina and Elliot.
