Material might still matter in terms of how much energy and how many spells the wand can store, a drumstick would be a step up from the watches, but maybe not on the level of the wand that Pandora gave Tedd. I kinda feel this was just dumped in as well, like sure Sarah and Grace back in Squirrel Prophet suggested that Tedd might need glasses because of all the squinting he did, but that was assumed to be a clue to Tedd using their Seer ability to see magic. It would have been nice if there was another moment prior to this that showed Tedd squinting for other reasons and maybe having a "huh, maybe I do need glasses" moment.

I'm sure two of those 99 other ninjas the pirate killed were the 100th's parents, thus making the ninja's backstory also a tale of vengeance against the pirate.

We can't have two ninja Dianes. I mean sure, if you consider magic clones being possible, then yes we could have two ninja Dianes, but in this case there is certainly only 1.

The rest of them have pretty much figured that Susan was the one involved in killing vampires, Elliot did point out that Susan's story of how she acquired magic also involved a vampire, so I think they've already resigned themselves to not even asking about the mall either.

I still think it's going to take Tedd and/or Sarah mentioning Pandora first to get Susan and Diane talking. Tedd's connection as Adrian's God son would be a stepping point for sure, and if anything Sarah is probably likely to jump to the conclusion that Susan and Diane are related to Adrian due to her last conversation with Pandora, of course Sarah won't guess exactly how closely related to Adrian they are, especially Diane, but she could still have enough to be like "Wait. you're related to Mr. Raven, aren't you?"

I dare say the other two ninja's we've seen are a fair more distracting. Unless of course you're talking about a Sleepy Little Ninja. Then we technically have 5 now.

Well when they can still run around after losing their heads...

Sarah thinking of Diane as a "Cute Mini-Susan" is enough to kickstart a canon ship, right? I guess it's only one way right now, but maybe we'll see what Diane thinks of Sarah at some point? Only Diane was a reference to Cheers, Rhoda was a character from the Mary Tyler Moore Show and I'm pretty sure Dan said Lucy was simply referring to Lucile Ball of "I Love Lucy" but then became a Lucy Lawless "Xena" reference by accident.

I suddenly had an amusing though, both Nanase and Diane have changed their hair since Ashley had last seen them: Ashley: looks at Diane and Susan, then turns to Nanase: "I'm sorry! Even with her haircut, she's still recognizable just for the fact that she looks like Susan!"

Nothing to say about the comic itself, but the commentary demands this:
  11. Story Friday November 01, 2019

The last three panels. have a "Tedd's jumping to conclusions and Grace isn't helping much" vibe, but I don't think anything bad will come of this, as I said previously I think Diane probably already knows, or at least suspects that Tedd is transformed, even if Susan didn't say anything, it's possible she figured it out based on what she knows about almost everyone else at the party (Sarah would be the only other person she hasn't met yet). It's possible that Diane is being polite by not making a big deal out of it, and so we'd have Tedd making a big deal out of Diane not making a big deal.
  12. Story, Wednesday, Oct 30, 2019

I think Diane also could tell that Tedd was nervous, which was the main reason she decided to compliment her hair, making Tedd feel more comfortable and removing the fear of being judged.

Dan still could have taken Tiffany as a template for Diane, remember Susan was originally supposed to be Grace, but when current Grace came to be, the original template morphed into Susan (though one could argue it came full circle when Adrian cast the Illusion spell to make Grace look like his "Niece", though Dan does link the Susan-Grace page in that page's commentary so I guess there wouldn't be much of an argument after all). Tiffany gave us a glimpse into who Susan might have been if certain things didn't happen, a bubbly cheerleader who was nonetheless intelligent and deductive. Diane wasn't all that bubbly but she was still shown as being intelligent and deductive and looked a lot like Susan, sure, Diane as we see her today is probably more close to Tiffany than when she was first introduced, but that doesn't mean Dan didn't use Tiffany as a starting point for Diane.
  14. This Day In History

I'd suggest that given the current anti-vax movement, that maybe some celebrities should step up to reinforce the importance of getting vaccinated, but at the same time, given the current social media climate where it seems like any time a celebrity tries to speak up about injustice and such, their feeds get flooded with "you're getting paid to entertain, stay out of politics!" I'm unsure that they'd be as successful as Elvis.

From the forum post: Soo would that be because Beta Tedd was able to contact all the other Tedd's that the goo cells were sent after and warn them in time, or just that the goo cells were that inept in doing what that were made to do? "Omega Goo" being the worst case scenario is kinda both good and bad, good in that if a goo cell was sent after Terra, it's likely she was able to deal with it despite Magus being out of the picture. Bad that if Grace hadn't been around, "Omega Goo" might have actually succeeded. Given that Dan made that post back in 2004, I get the feeling that he's hinting at introducing Diane? Edit: double checked, yeah the post was made in April 2004, Diane was introduced in December 2004. I think by now Sarah's had quite a bit of development character-wise, I wonder if Dan would consider doing more with Dark Sarah now? I guess there is that patreon image that shows that if both were to meet, makeouts would ensue, but that's probably on the extreme end of things.

Dan's even hinted that he may break up the story into smaller parts too cus we're at page 80 and just starting part 3.

According to Dan on Reddit Fable 2 did have DLC that added Weight Gain and Loss potions, the Weight Loss potions being more useful to counteract the pies more quickly.

Or the door leading to the basement. I suspect that a lot of doors in Tedd's house look like that so it's possible that they are in the kitchen.

Beta Ellen would certainly be filling the role of both Elliot and Grace in that regard. I think the Lord Tedd story is going to be built around what was shown in Painted Black, and there'll probably be a reasonable explanation for what we saw in Sister, like maybe General Shade Tail had somehow convinced Lord Tedd that other universe versions would become a threat to him. As to why focus on alternate universes? Maybe General Shade Tail is looking for something that doesn't exist in their universe, but does in another, and it's somehow related to Tedd?

No she doesn't, Ashley's probably going to have to tell her. Might be able to combine spells, like a spell to shrink down to fairy size, a transformation spell to give her fairy wings and a levitation spell to let her fly, all of which should be fairly easy compared to Susan's and Nanase's spells.

Sim City 4 is probably regarded as the best city building experience, IIRC you could import real maps into it to build on (the best are topographic maps otherwise you'd likely end up with a flat land) and the maps can be used to form a 100x100km region in which you can break up into 1x1, 2x2 or 4x4km cities, (compared to SC2K in which you'd make your city and there'd be 4 neighbours). The Rush Hour expansion also added the ability to take control of vehicles to run missions, like taking a medical transport helicopter to fly a patient to a hospital, maneuvering a firetruck of police car through traffic to get to a fire or chase down criminals, or as a twist, be the criminal trying to get out of town before the cops catch you. When Sim City (Online) came out it was almost like playing Sim City 2000 but with updated graphics and only and each city was like 2x2k and you were limited to the maps that Maxis made available. and then there was the multiplayer aspect which had each player setting up trade deals and such and then the players could cooperate in building a great work that would give bonuses to all cities. the concept was interesting but many were disappointed that there wasn't a option to play by yourself because of the fact that if you wanted to make money you have to make deals with neighbours, and if you're alone, that's not possible, heck even if you were playing with others, you're usually stuck waiting for them to log in and accept any deals you try to make. At least with SC4 the game would simulate your neighbours and both ask for and accept deals.

Diablo 3 tried to incorporate MMO features like clans, a marketplace, and special events. but in it's defense, Diablo 2 was such that players had created clans and a third party market for selling gear, and it had ladder events as well, it wasn't surprising that Blizzard would see that and want to incorporate those as core features of D3, especially the marketplace because there were some sites that claimed you could buy/sell D2 gear for real money but they were scams. Sim City is a sore spot for me cus I had bought it without knowing how limited it would be. it practically forced multiplayer and the land available was small compared to Sim City 4, I know they made some changes at one point, but honestly, I haven't looked at it since shortly after it's release.

Nanase might be overcompensating for the fact that she was originally very suspicious of Ashley, I don't think Ashley even knew this though. In Ashley's mind, Nanase was already cool on the night of the griffins, Nanase does not have to prove anything further to her. There is the question of whether or not Nanase's fairy avatar is copyable, Andrea was excited to see it and stated that such a spell was very rare, that might mean that only certain people are able to use it or, maybe, like Sarah's spell, would have a high energy cost and be difficult for even Tedd to learn and, well, probably would need the gauntlet to cast it. Failing that though, Susan has been implied to be able to go "first person mode" with her fairies as well so it might be more likely that Ashley could learn Susan's fairy spell.
  24. Story, Wednesday, Oct 23, 2019

Well most of them do know that another Shade Tail exists that is nothing like Grace, but they wouldn't know of his influence on Lord Tedd, Tedd might assumed that someone else stepped into Lord Tedd's life instead of someone like Elliot though.

I probably misread what you said as something different.
