To be honest, I never thought of the wand being out of power. And as for what caused that, I'm sorta leaning towards the door knob, but am keeping an open mind as to other reasons.

UPDATE: Explorer has gone to bed. In my bed, right where I would be if I wanted to take a nap.

Still drinking my body weight, more or less, in tea every morning. Explorer is very interested in the make tea process, watches me do every step. Maybe she thinks if she watches, she will get something other than tea when she hopes up on the desk to check the mug.

Explorer, my cat, is moving at warp 7 this morning. Has been for a couple of hours now. Woke me up by running across the room and jumping on me in bed, then blasting to the other side of the room.

Tea, and lots of it today. I've established that Explorer, my cat, doesn't like tea, with or with out milk, hot or cold. What she hasn't figured out is that is only thing that is going to be in the cup on the computer desk. She checks it to see what is in it every time she gets on the desk, which has been about a dozen times today.

My next door neighbour is working on fixing a lawn mower, like you do in mid January. He's been banging on it and using power tools on it for about an hour now. Explorer, my cat, is Not Happy with this as it keeps waking her up.

Well, the Omega form has flight, so yeah, it could. I suspect the other ones can only do so when the antennas are out and acting as telekinesis. -
OK, I can see that, but where did the doorknob come from? I can't see DGB just giving up a magical item with out having some idea where it was supposed to do. And I really don't see Edward as the type that would put an unknown magical item in his son's lab/play room. Plus Ashley got two forms, one being the hair color change and the 2nd being the shrink effect. Just saying.

Could be. She does complain about me turning on the lights in the pre dawn morning. Bad zen aside, Explorer pretty much has the run of the house. Much like Susan did before her.

It's 34 degrees and raining. Given a choice I'd rather it be 30 degrees and snowing. Cold rain just sucks more than snow.

Explorer, my cat, seems to be of the opinion that I can and should do something about the weather. She has gone from sitting on the window sill to being at my feet several times this morning during the rain. After the 3rd cycle of this she has given up and is on the chair.

Pretty much. She doesn't seem to be shedding that much, but that could be the time of year more than any thing else.

It seems that is now time to bolt about the house at a high rate of speed. At least this time Explorer, my cat, has waited until i was fully awake and functional. She isn't real happy I closed the bathroom closet's door as she was liking hanging out on the stack of towels.

Of course Ashley has seen than form, which may or may not effect her thought processes about seeing it again.

After three days and many trips to the DMV and the local credit union, I finally have a valid Kansas ID and what passes for a checking account. Good news, I can still use my old check pads. Bad news, I need a new debit card. This has been a spoon eating start of the week. Of course I don't really have an ID yet, I have two slips of paper that says it's an ID, but it's not the real ID card, for example. Thankfully the credit union took it, so there is that. Total cost, including a taxi ride out to the DMV on Monday is just over 80 bucks, of which 35 is in the "new" checking account. I'm going to take a nap now.

I'm aware of that issue. This is more of a cord than a string and is attached to the hoodie. She can't eat it, or at least shouldn't be able to. At any rate I'm keeping it where she can't get to it with out me playing with it because if I don't she pulls the hoodie on to the floor.

So, another way she's like Susan. She rather just watch.
