I'm tempted to suggest Ellen and Nanase in tuxedos for the 2 character pinup survey when Dan gets around to doing those for May's pinups.

Or that the addition of a bit of personal risk just makes the whole thing more fun. Pandora's main purpose is to ease her boredom, and I'd imagine that adding elements of personal risk as well as elements of uncertainty can help with this.

It's a reference to superhero tabletop RPGs I once played in, Champions in particular. If a supervillain had some sort of power that automatically let him escape the heroes at any time, it was called an Amazing Chicken Power.

Any plan involving the use of the Diamond will probably also result in having to tangle with Abraham again.

Okay, wild theory here, or maybe it's the opposite of wild?  Magus has seen enough of Elliot and his friends to know they're good people.  Once he gets zapped into Elliot's body, what if he just comes clean and *tells* them about how he got stranded in a strange dimension, and has been stuck invisibly watching his duplicate there?  He wouldn't have to tell them exactly how long he's been there, or about his ability to amplify emotions, or his working with Pandora, or any of that.  Just tell them that he's been watching Elliot, and when he saw Ellen about to zap Elliot, he had a flash of insight and realized he might be able to ride the beam into Elliot's body and be able to communicate with them.  Then he'd ask them to please help him.
He might even let them come up with the idea of using the Dewitchery Diamond on their own, once he explained his problem and asked for help.  If they're too slow to come up with it on their own, he could ask whether Ellen was also a duplicate from another dimension, as he had no twin back home.  (Most people seem pretty sure that Magus and Terra are alternates of Elliot and Tedd, but even if they aren't, if we believe it, why wouldn't they?)
Does anyone really think our Main Eight+ would say no?  Or would they head for the Dewitchery Diamond to help the poor stranded alternate-Elliot regain form and get back home?  Even if they took the matter to Mr. Verres, I could see him agreeing to it as long as he was convinced no harm would come to Elliot and that Magus's intentions were honorable.  So, instead of wild hijinx as possessed-Elliot makes a run for the DD and his friends try to stop him, we get a nice, calm, fully-approved trip to where it's stored.  Might even help keep Sirleck from double-crossing him, as it would be difficult to get into the facility and take possession under the watchful eye of Verres and company.

Immortal precognition can't be "true" seeing of future events, because that would be equivalent to information traveling backwards in time, which is forbidden in EGS. I think it's more like "ultra-accurate weather forecasting"--as Immortals grow more powerful and perceptive, they can integrate finer and finer details until they develop a Sherlock Holmes-like ability to get a whole picture from just a few obscure-seeming clues. At Pandora's level, she can probably also "see the threads of fate"--i.e. fully construct entire alternate scenarios based on options A, B, C, etc., and determine their approximate probability of coming to pass.

I think it helps that though they liked and even love each other they were never really in love. Big difference.
Nanase dated Elliot as he was as close to the ideal man as she could find among her friends and acquaintances. Elliot on the other hand dated her because he liked her as a friend and when she approached him he really didn't understand the feelings of love and being in love. When they broke up neither of them felt that there was a big gaping hole where the other used to be, and so there were no hard feelings.
Sarah and Elliot dating was similar. They've known each other since they were toddlers, and though there were friendship and love, and some lust due to hormones, they were never truly in love. The breakup again showed that neither of them suffered the trauma of having their heart broken, nor were there much anger involved. There were some frustration but not much anger.
In both cases some feelings were a bit bruised, but no hearts were broken... The fact that none of them is a selfish a-hole does help.

How does a couple break up amicably? By having the breakup triggered by something other than anger at one another.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but...
a couple times the idea of Elliot distancing himself from being identified as Cheerledra has come up, ad more often than not, the idea of Elliot turning into Cheerledra while someone poses as Elliot gets thrown around, usual focusing on Grace or Tedd mimicking him, yet i don't understand why they haven't gone with the obvious candidate:
    Ellen.
She has an ability that would let her copy Cheerledra rather than Elliot eliminating the inherent problem of someone seeing through the 'Elliot disguise' because there won't be one, Elliot will be the real deal, meanwhile she knows Elliot more than well enough to pull off acting exactly like how Cheerledra would. Even better, if her power includes copying secondary abilities, she can "accidently" get caught changing into Heidi after being seen with Elliot which would deflect attention further by making people focus on someone that technically doesn't exist and only a handful of people (Noah, Melissa, Justin, & Carol) have ever met, only one of which knows Heidi is actually Elliot. (Melissa, and presumably Noah know Heidi is an alias & disguise, but as far as I'm aware I don't think they know who's under the disguise.)

Generally speaking, tip your lizard at least 15% for good service.
If the service is not so good, but you can see it is for reasons beyond your lizard's control, don't punish your lizard.

Excuse me? A genderfluid teenager with NO reference for what it is they are experiencing, and it is THEIR fault that they cannot explain what is happening to them? I am sorry. I could not possibly disagree more strongly.

Certainly so. But while I agree with you in principle that one should not judge oneself solely in order to punish oneself, that is not what I have been doing. I have been taking a long hard look at my life and realised that the very culture I grew up in is immensely racist and that this has had its inevitable effect on me. I am now fighting this and I refuse to employ weasel words while doing so. And in fact, it has been an immensely powerful tool for me to make progress. I take pride in this progress rather than allowing guilt to bog me down. And in fact, I found that once I admitted to myself how wrong my old behaviors were -- why, then guilt disappeared altogether, replaced by an intense desire to do better.
The opposite is more often the case, I am sad to say. I have met any number of people online who say "I am not really racist" while continuing to be so, the excuse being used to assuage the guilt they feel.

Of course the man isn't aware that what he is doing is wrong! He loves his son and has time and again demonstrated the lengths he will go to to aid and defend his loved ones. He got himself fired through the intensity of his feelings when Nanase and Ellen were endangered by Abraham. He would never dream of deliberately hurting Tedd -- which makes it just that much more tragic when you think about the pain he is unwittingly piling on the son he loves more than anything else in this world.
But he is nonetheless doing it. In this world, it is the results that ultimately count the most and good intentions in and of themselves are worth little when improperly guided.
That is of course your privilege. I disagree strenuously with it, however. I have a long history of calling a shovel for a shovel and there are times for diplomacy and times for presenting hard facts. We are not dealing directly with Mr. Verres in person and even if we were, different people respond in different ways to information.
Here and now, I stand by my choice of words. Mr. Verres is transphobic. That he cannot help himself is irrelevant when it comes to his actions and their consequences -- the pain inflicted on Tedd is not lessened by his lack of knowledge of the harm he is doing. When one is speaking of an injury, the intent behind inflicting it does not reduce the damage when it comes to the injury's effects and consequences. Tedd knows that his father is acting in a transphobic manner and as a consequence has lost trust in him. And this is truly tragic, but arguing about guilt or lack thereof will not in any way change Tedd's position and problems in this.

I understand your reluctance and sympathise with your desire to establish a demarcation. I simply do not agree with it. In part it is due to the way I judge myself: when I look back at my life, I can see clear patterns of how I have acted in ways variously racist, misogynistic, homophobic and ableist. And these behaviors were not due to ignorance alone. Much of them came from taught cultural behaviors and prejudices. I am working hard on them these days but simply knowing that they are wrong is not enough. Not only do I still slip up, I also have to constantly and actively watch for patterns of behavior I have never recognised before and sometimes only discover are harmful when someone victimised by them so informs me.
Was I racist, back then? In fact, was I all of these things? To my mind, yes. Without question. Trying to soothe myself into thinking that it was 'just ignorance' becomes a mere justification for my own actions, a palliative for my conscience that tells me that what I did wasn't so bad. The problem is that my actions were that bad. Keeping that in mind gives me motivation to work hard on improving and always be on the lookout for backsliding.
Therefore, yes. I judge Mr. Verres to be transphobic. This is not the same as saying that he is irredeemable. He is not, but it will take work from his side to overcome it and a lot of it. Trying to explain his behavior away as 'ignorance' is not enough: it assumes that simply informing him that what he is doing is wrong, and him understanding this, will be enough to set everything right. And it won't be. He has a lifetime of learned behavior to overcome, and he can't do that in a day or a week or even a year. It will be an ongoing process and it may take him the rest of his life.
I certainly expect this to be the case as far as my own learned behaviors go.

Just had a scary thought... What if that has nothing to do with the immortals, or with the aberrations skill at hiding?
how do we know Sirlec is the only body-snatcher in the area? Arthur J. Arthur has been pointed out to be acting oddly out of character...

    Pandora.
Actually Will and Gill would be very good choices.  Gender ambiguity is built into Uyouom genetics.  Someone would have to tell them there was a problem however because they wouldn't perceive it otherwise.

Nonetheless. While I will concede the above, I have yet to be convinced that any of the mentioned characters have done anything like betray Mr. Verres' trust in them. The closest I have seen any of them come to that is Tedd who is deliberately withholding information about his own magic from his father -- and he has the massive provocation of his father's transphobia and numberless microaggressions against him.

Another option to add some realism would be to have a small but non-negligable chance of the gun going off accidentally any time you point it at someone.  A few great runs ruined by having a vital NPC getting taken out before they can help you might teach players to respect their weapons a bit more.
