Dan, have characters avoid needless violence by talking to each other instead?  How unprecedented!  ;-)

2010 - Grace and Tedd dress up as rabbits.
2011 - Noah asks Justin about a Fire Thing.
2012 - Sarah falls out of bed.
2015 - Ashley shouts out that she's from California.
2016 - Tara and Andrea say goodbye to Nanase & Cheerleadra. Meanwhile, Grace looses Karma.

This isn't hugely relevant. I just felt like adding it because dragons.

    All right, all right. (*ahem*)
A restock is being printed and sent to CD Baby as of this past Monday. A further 100 CDs are being printed and will be sent to me. I can restock CD Baby faster with pre-printed stock. I just have to hope that there are 100 more people out there who want the CD.

Not to mention seeing them run by with Jason chasing Freddie, then circle around a tree repeatedly until they run back across the screen with Freddie chasing Jason.

Has Dan argued with any other character as much as he argues with Susan?
I don't know why she puts up with that cartoonist.

My only concern would be that someone in Hollywood will make that connection into the next sequel.
Can they set a Jason chase scene to "Yackety Sax"?

Magus does have a fair point about the possibility of Ellen trying hard to convince everyone, including herself, that she's happy as a woman because she really doesn't have any choice about it.  In fact, Ellen has said outright that differentiating herself from Elliot is the source of a lot of her personality traits that differ from Ellot's.  We, and Elliot, have the advantage of knowing Ellen well and being pretty sure we can tell the difference between protesting too much and actually liking how she is now, but that doesn't mean Magus doesn't have some pretty good reasons for thinking that's the way Ellen would be reacting to things.  Even Elliot looks like he's considering the possibility of Magus being right.  Note, considering, not agreeing with,
Of course, Elliot's first comment is likely to be that they need to talk with Ellen before transforming her, so she can talk Magus out of it, which is likely how we get into Magus's reasons for being in a hurry.

I'm so sorry to hear.  I had something similar, with my mom calling me on Saturday morning and it turned out he'd been in the hospital since Thursday night.  She didn't want to interrupt my attending a conference and figured there was nothing I could do anyway, but it felt weird to know that this'd been going on and I'd had no idea.  Please do let us know if there is anything we can do, and if you just need to vent, we're a great audience for that, too.

This might be an unintended consequence of Les Immortels keeping him away from the Dunkels.  He wouldn't have been there for the sort of heart-to-heart conversations Elliot and Ellen have had in their shared bedroom.

Elliot has only just begun accepting his own gender fluidity.  Imagine if Magus tries to shoot a spell for permanent maleness at the unconscious Ellen, and Cheerleadra interposes herself like she did for that dragon's blast?

While I should be whooping it up over the official release of my debut album and the successful completion of another round of back injections, unfortunately I'm not. Something went wrong in the surgery.
The first thing I noticed was a burning pain in my left eye and a constant draining from it and from my left nostril. The nurses didn't know what was going on. One nurse just flushed my eye with saline 4 or 5 times. I kept having to blow my nose and catch the tears from my eye. I was also shivering like crazy and unbalanced; I needed help getting dressed. They held me for another 30 minutes until the shivering stopped and I could stand on my own. They then sent me home.
The draining got worse after I got home. It eventually got uncontrollable while standing to the point that I had to stuff a napkin into my nose. My eye is worse, too: I can't focus through it, even with my glasses. We read for side effects and found that these were part of them, and than the eye one was particularly nasty. I therefore called the on-call doctor, got the answering service, left a message, and never heard back from anyone.
My doctor's office is supposed to call today and check up on me. It's not going to be a pretty call.

The temporary web address is http://store.cdbaby.com/cd/leejackson1 . I'll have a more permanent address in a day or two. In either case, the link is hot and selling for $12.99!
Amazon, iTunes, and other services are also selling - and delivering - the MP3 album for a suggested retail price of $9.99!
Note: That is the permanent address for posting in forums and things of that nature. However, if you go to my blog, you can click on a button that'll take you straight to my page on CD Baby.
Also note that there may be a CD stock shortage over the weekend. Please keep checking back Monday or later!

The Collector's Editions CDs have all sold! Thank you to everyone who bought one!
To everyone else, there's still a chance, starting tomorrow morning (Friday), as the regular physical CDs go on sale at the CD Baby store. Once the link goes live, I'll post it here.

My bet is on him having been assigned female at birth, and using magic to change sexes later in life, but not bothering to change his legal name.
At any rate, note how he says that "people in this universe might find [the nickname Magus] less strange than my actual name", with emphasis on the "this" in "this universe". This implies that whatever the explanation is, people in his own universe wouldn't find it strange.
