This is possible as well. If Helena and Demetrius were watching during the bulldog dragon incident, they'd be aware of Noah, maybe they were behind the shade that distracted Noah at school as a way to ensure Noah would be there to help protect Elliot. Helena's statement that Voltaire was "pushing 'only guide and empower' as far as it'll bend" might not be refering to his manipulation of Tara alone, but also the manipulation of Dex.

We've yet to see Magus, but considering Sirleck's making a move, Magus should be making an appearance sometime in this storyline. As for Lord Tedd...I don't want to rule it out completely, but Dan has stated uncertainty about whether he should have even introduced the Lord Tedd plotthread or not, but admits that a lot of stuff in the overarching story wouldn't have been possible without it. It's certainly possible Dan's been trying to figure out a way to get back to that thread, that peak into Lord Tedd's world and Nioi might have been alterations to the original plan similar to how Ellen was supposed to be a villain. Though it's also possible that Edward saying the Lord Tedd issue was being addressed might have been a clue that the thread was cut entirely, which would be a shame considering Ellen expects to see Kaoli in the future. Well, there is a theory that the reason Lord Tedd is what he is, was because Elliot was killed in that universe, it would have left Lord Tedd open to manipulation by General Shade Tail who might have even engineered Elliot's death in order to take his place as Lord Tedd's guardian.

Yeah, considering Sirleck's exclamation that he'll "rain hell down on Moperville" a lot of people will be in danger, not just Adrian. Probably more likely a backup vampire killer or they'd be forced to do something else (see previous reference to "rain hell down on Moperville"). Deciding to go back to guarding Elliot full time again would likely prove impossible. Oh, and I don't mean that Helena and Demetrius would prioritize Adrian over Elliot, I just mean they'd prioritize dealing with the vampires. Sirleck thinks Adrian is the offspring of one of them, but Helena and Demetrius would just be looking at the safety of the general public.

Considering Uryoums do live on Earth, and have been for quite some time (Will and Gill were born on Earth) It's gotta be possible that Uryuom tech has melded Human tech to a degree. It would of course start at the military level, because military loves getting new tech first, and then slowly trickle into commercial applications. It would have to be done in such a way though that people don't suspect it's alien technology, either by reverse engineering it and rebuilding it to look Human made, or by stating it's a breakthough in design with a new manufacturing process that took years to perfect.

If it's an actual wizard that learns other people's spells, I don't see why not. It might be simple for an Immortal to just transfer knowledge of a spell to a wizard. I'd imagine it'd be like the greybeards transferring knowledge of a thu'um to your character in Skyrim, though maybe not as fancy looking. Though again, this might not be something Jerry is able to do after recently resetting.

Reading through Grace's birthday party, got to the point where Justin's telling Susan about how Elliot rescued him and such, when he mentions being introduced to Nanase, Rhoda is very obvious in the panel, but what isn't as obvious, is Diane and Lucy in the background with a guy going through his wallet. Also there's no band around Diane's right arm which further confirms that those have to be henna based and not permanent. Back to Rhoda though, she must not be part of Diane's group at that point.

Edward thinks that the spider vampire's attack on Diane was just a random chance event, but considering the vampires seem to be coming to Moperville with incentive from Sirleck in order to distract Helena and Demetrius so that Magus can get Ellen to zap Elliot, the chances of a vampire attack on Diane, or even Susan, might have increased. Does anyone think that because Tara and Andrea have gone back home, Helena and Demetrius might come back to Susan and Nanase for help? Or are they aware now that the response wouldn't be favourable?

Dan has been building up the idea that Magic has some sort of will for a while now, at least as far back as Hammerclorians when Jerry mentioned the "flair for the dramatic" which would also suggest that Jerry at least remembers. Could Jerry be acting as the will of Magic here(not to be confused with actually being the will of Magic)? Would his current incarnation be capable of doing that? Jerry knows Grace as being one of Susan's friends but this seems like something that goes beyond his vow to help Susan and her friends and family. It's possible he's been paying attention to the things going on in Moperville as he's been checking on Susan and decided to take matters into his own hands. But again he's still pretty fresh from resetting so would he even be capable of giving Disco Wizard that kind of spell required to contact Grace? The spell also seems too convoluted a way to get results which Jerry likely wouldn't want to do, also the fact that he's met Grace before, it'd make more sense for him to contact her directly to warn her about what's going on.

I went in to get the oil changed on the van (2012 Dodge Grand Caravan) and it turned out it was due for a transmission fluid and filter change as well so I said sure. They get working on it right away, about 15 minutes later I hear some grinding and thought that was odd, and 10 minutes after that the one mechanic is talking to the head mechanic (someone who's been there for at least as long as I've been taking vehicles there, we pretty much know each other by name now) who's flipping through various papers and telling the guy what needs to be done, and they're both poking around in the engine compartment. I'm a little concerned because it's sounds like the other mechanic had never done transmission work before so I go over and ask if there's a problem. Turn's out it wasn't so much a problem, but just tedious work because apparently a number of car manufacturers are designing vehicles and engines in such a way to make it so that only dealerships would be able to service them, an example of this was the fact that there was no transmission fluid dipstick in my van so they had to use an aftermarket dipstick. The papers the head mechanic was going through were various engine/transmission specs because there were no labels to tell what was needed on the transmission itself and they had to use a special laser tool to measure the inside of the transmission to be able to know how much fluid was needes. The grinding earlier was because Dodge doesn't use gaskets on the transmission casing, instead they use a bead of silicon which had to be ground off and a new bead applied when the casing was put back together. All in all, I'd still rather go to these guys because I can just drive up whenever and I can hop next door to the A&W and have lunch and they're usually done before I finish eating, if I had to go to the dealership to get it done, I'd have to first schedule an appointment, the dealership isn't in a location where I can go get lunch or do something to pass the time, and they take several hours to get it done. Basically I'm being annoyed behalf of my oil change guys.

Hedge would have seen how Grace pretty much had Damien against the ropes. She was kicking his arse and then took off after him when he fled. Hedge didn't see what happened next so he could have easily assumed Grace finished the job especially is Grace returned on her own, if neither returned then he would assume both were killed. Nioi bringing Grace back was completely unexpected. Besides Grace did tell the Main 8 about Nioi being Lord Tedd's servant, she likely told Hedge, Guineas and Vladia at least enough. Also Damien isn't really a typical Seyunolu, can't even begin to speculate what the scientists had to do to get a being made with fire and I don't see how he'd be able to shapeshift into anything not fire related.

That might fall under the more advanced skill portion.

The dangerous rarity stuff would be easier to believe than the mark. But still, as far as the marks go, Tedd already said Grace could tell Edward about the other marks and such, so I just don't see how he could think that holding back the part about his mark would matter. It would suggest that Tedd believes that someone has a gun against Elliot's head and threatening to kill him if Tedd doesn't tell Edward about his mark, and that Tedd's refusal to tell Edward puts his secret above Elliot's life. Heck, that would apply to the dangerous rarity stuff if Tedd was keeping it secret even if it meant Elliot being in danger. If anything any connection between Elliot's safety and Tedd would be in someone needing to kill Elliot to either get him out of the way so they could then kill Tedd (which is what Goo 2.0 was trying to do) or trying to push Tedd into doing something insane, and ever since Goo 2.0, I don't think anyone is worried about Lord Tedd making another attempt on Elliot's or Tedd's life as Edward had been addressing that issue.

I still fail to see how Tedd keeping his mark a secret would have any relevance to Elliot's safety, Grace is the one that found out about the marks in general and if she has already told Edward about her dreams and figuring out that an Immortal had been marking people without consent, leaving out the fact that Tedd was marked as well wouldn't make any difference, the main message would have been sent.

Rhoda could have accidentally used her spell again with Catalina around to notice it. It seems like Rhoda figuring it out herself and then going "Hey Catalina, look what I can do!" just seems out of place in the EGS world. I even believe that Melissa accidentally caught Noah doing something with magic at one point rather than Noah just telling her.

That's probably stretching things. Considering how Tedd was feeling when Grace and Elliot returned from The Nest, this is actually technically the 5th time Elliot's life was in danger, the first time was the second goo fight and while technically that was Ellen that fought the goo, the goo's objective at that point was to kill Elliot. The second time was The Nest, things could have gone badly if he had managed to break the ropes and attempted to fight Damien. Third and fourth times were the fire golem at the comic shop and then the bulldog dragon, though the fire golem might have been just a test run. And then the fifth one being the incident at the mall, and only the mall incident was after Tedd was marked so I dunno how he'd blame the mark for putting Elliot in danger. On the note of the first fire golem attack, while Pandora was the likely one that marked Dex, Voltaire would have provided the pendant, and to make sure it worked properly just had Dex summon 1 fire golem outside the comic shop, Voltaire likely didn't expect to kill Elliot with it and maybe didn't expect Justin to use his mark spell, or maybe he did and it didn't matter for the fact that it was just a test run, the next attack at the dojo with more fire golems and the bulldog dragon was the real attempt.

You know, I'm thinking Tedd's emotional state at the moment has more to do about the fact that Elliot's life is in danger rather than Edward finding out about his mark. There might be a little of that there, but Elliot's at the front of the line. I wonder if Tedd's thinking about making sure his gauntlet is ready.

Pandora's warning was when she wanted Sarah to have frivolous fun with her spell, and was part of her plan for making magic public. Now that Pandora has to fix everything, the warning is kinda moot. Also why Sarah isn't there is because she basically just woke up maybe an hour earlier and got approached by Pandora again. I get why Dan didn't want to do a third straight chapter devoted to Pandora, but I'm anxious to know what she told Sarah.

I was wondering if anyone of them would pick up on the whole "an Immortal is trying to kill Elliot" plot. Edward's expression in the second panel is priceless, granted Elliot knows of several issues that may be considered big, vampires and Diane/Susan they've already covered, the mess at the mall which they just covered, the energy clog and the other half of the world which they should be getting to next, and Elliot being marked for death. Knowing Elliot, he'd likely still put the well being of others ahead of the fact that someone's trying to kill him.

Maybe I misunderstood this time around, when you said "Ellen's body with Sarah's head" I assumed you meant everything from the neck down would have been female Elliot which would have meant any birthmarks or whatever that Elliot has that would persist in the default female form. I think because he was thinking of Sarah, even if it was just her face, the spell would have given Elliot Sarah's skin complexion head to toe, or at least close enough to it.

Maybe because it was magic related, Wolf or Cranium knew of a doctor that could magically scan Nanase to determine her condition?

Maybe Edward got Grace a set of pants that are made of the same material as the Uryuom suits, I wonder if there's some sort of nanotech involved in those that allows them to conform so snuggly to the body and be so stretchy and accomodating to various forms and letting stuff like tails and claws through without tearing, they literally are 1 size fits all.
