Welcome! 03/05/2016
Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

My comment had to do with the commentary for the comic, rather than the comic itself. And frankly, while she's there for the purpose of exposition, that isn't the ONLY purpose for her to be there.

Ashley's riding along for the purposes of exposition.... Works for me. When Coraline was made into a movie, they added a new character (Wybie) for that reason - and that reason only.

I'm guessing that "V" arm run is probably something to do with aerodynamics, like why migrating birds fly in a similar formation.

I've always considered Susan's hair to be blue-black, like The Hobbit's Dwalin's beard is supposed to be. The blue is only seen if the light hits it right (as mentioned in Drasvin's post above). As for the intense doritos... https://68.media.tumblr.com/196830f034118883f09f2640e993ef42/tumblr_inline_nmi4crewTn1qlsqfy_540.gif

First thought that I had was about this: Comic for Monday "Oh god it's Friday. WHY IS IT FRIDAY." This amused me for some reason.

Commentary reminds me of the ADVid Notes at the end of Excel Saga's second episode. "These VAs speak English about as well as most anime fanboys/girls speak Japanese." ^paraphrased

So, Tedd was ridiculously powerful as an infant, and was traumatized by the noise of something near him. What does that make him?
-
So, Rhoda turned into Susan, whom Cat had feelings for. Cat turned into Diane, whom Rhoda had feelings for. ..... This could make for an interesting night for those two.

Does anyone else want to see the prank? Desperately?
-
All I can say is, "Evil" Greg's hair goes from Vegeta to Raditz.

Doesn't quite work, IMO. The difference is that change blindness only works when the change itself happens while no one is looking. All the events in the flashbacks happened while being observed.

Nice, but I'm not sure that these two collages qualify as strip slays.

Except that Elliot's last line implies that Noah was shirtless at the time.

Well, that sign probably comes in handy during game tournaments.

I loved that moment, and have been trying to figure out how to include it in a live tribute show. Does anyone else feel like this story arc will end with the installation of a security camera?
-
Must have missed that one. I'm doing my first archive binge in a while, and haven't gotten that far yet. But yeah, that supports my hypothesis. Thank you.

BBC Archives, 1970s. Borrow the lost episodes of Doctor Who, bring them back here, copy them, give them to the current BBC, and return the originals to their historic doom.

If there are any other fans of Sentinels of the Universe on here, you may know that fans of the game have actually created decks based on characters from other franchises. I thought I'd try working on a few EGS characters for it. Anyone up to help me? And for those who don't know SotM and just peeked in out of curiosity, it's a card game with the scenario of the epic battles from superhero comics - but the game's makers created their own comic book superhero universe specifically for the game. You can check it out here.

I hope this hasn't been brought up in a previous incarnation of this thread. Arthur knows that magic can change how it works, and why it would do so. Hence why he is apparently not doing a damn thing about any of what's going on.? Consider the following data: First, the reaction to Abraham's attack, followed by the on camera appearance of Little Pandie. Next, the appearance of the first fire guy, (who shall be henceforth known as Blaze Burns), to which we have likely already seen his reaction. He goes on the air to make an official statement as soon as possible, and goes to theatrical lengths to expose the existence of wizards - and completely contradicts previous tactics in doing so. Then, when Blaze returns, bringing his family and their adorable little pet, what does he do? Absolutely nothing. But what may be even more important is his reasoning behind his inaction. Reading between the lines of what he says there indicates that he is fully aware what will happen if magic becomes too mainstream - and that the result of it is, ultimately, his goal. Rather than fight an uphill, possibly even Sisyphean, battle to cover up the accessibility of magic, he decides to let the events play out and have the Will of Magic take care of the problem itself.

I personally like breakaway capes, designed to tear off easily - all of the imagery, none of the danger.

Well, maybe you were the only one...

As far as Dave goes, my first thought was this short clip.

Reading this, my brain jumped straight to the end of the canoe scene in Horsefeathers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhrjnSyKBYw

Indeed. Instead, his voice just changes every 30 or so years.

On the other hand, if the world ends and is reborn, we might get something better in its place. A world where the political divide is not so vast and deep. A world where all our needs (though not necessarily wants) are provided for. A world where things are settled with diplomacy rather than violence. A world where, dare I say it, Gargoyles actually had a REAL third season!
