Certain Airborne Touchdown landed on its feet and took off running. They've got that post-nirvana feel that has worked for so many over the years, but they come off as derivative. Expect to hear Catastrophy Suspension on the radio - once. The newest group on the big band swing scene - Casso Wells and his Orchestra.

Raven is entirely comfortable with that gun of his, and his school lock down seemed quite practiced - I imagine that he's had a few adventures as a vampire hunter. Aberrations are weak to magic weapons. I wonder if Mophergirl counts as a magic weapon for purposes of overcoming their resistance? For that matter, would Ellen's beams be extraordinarily effective? Andrea and tara's talons seemed to do the job, but the griffin gals were powerful in their own right. Either way, I'm giving good odds to both Justin and Noah showing up next arc.

Alright, here's my take. A rich falconer died, splitting his will between the dame and the celebrity guest star. However, he left a cache of undeclared valuables on his old stomping grounds and the falconer's falcon is the only one with the location. The dame complains about her perceived plight in the bar before hiring detective block to find the buried bullion, and the bartender kills celebrity guest star to steal the falcon and therefore the loot. Plausible?

Frankly, given of what we've seen so far, any answers trending towards nosy-ness would eliminate Ashley straight off. Diane has her whole introduction to make that distinction, and Ellen has shown enough interest and proficiency in amateur detective work that I'd give Elliot points there just by association. Maybe a score of 0 would result in one of the random bystanders that keeps getting interviewed by Carol? As far as videogames, not sure we have enough data for all the possibilities, though a "I don't play many videogames" answer could work if it was weighted only slightly. I agree with the people agreeing that rolling dice for each question should result in an approximately random result. -

Ashley's so cute, I would date her in a heartbeat. Elliot's so cute, I would date him in a heartbeat, too. Their exuberance is incredibly endearing, and I think it's great that Ellen has an immediate good impression of Ashley. I really like this comic! Low level reactions taken care of, on to the nitty gritty. Ashley's hair in panel one might be functioning as a propeller, Ashley seems to be once again a marshmellow, I'm curious at how suddenly well light the complex is, and it seems that now that Ashley is caught up in it all, she is indeed being told all of the things. Probably of a secret robot subplot is up there with Elliot's cat form ever being relevant again. -

All plot aside, panel 2 of Mophergirl crouching is possibly the coolest panel that Dan's drawn, and certainly my favorite in that action/noir style. Story not aside, I am disappointed in lack of the alternate forms. I can understand Heidi not being called up, and Mild Mannered might not be appropriate, but frankly wandering around a dark apartment complex talking about hunting vampires would be maybe the best possible scenario to introduce Goth form. I can't wait for Wednesday!

The way I understand it is that if you're a magic person, you periodically get new spells as you learn and grow, based on your needs. Elliot isn't inherently magical - he (or she, at this point in time) was made magic by an outside force (see sister, iirc ) which gave him the magic ability to change gender. He became more powerful, but wasn't happy with his spells, so his magic tried to modify the spell to make him happy with it - from girl form to full shapeshifting to a super form to alter egos, he got better and better variations on his ability to turn female. His magic would continue this pattern until his need to turn female was met, not understanding that he didn't want to be a girl. As of this comic, Elliott is happy to be a girl. Now, his magic will start to fill his other needs, having satisfied his initial, artificial need.

It's like skyrim, but with guns. More seriously, it's an rpg/shooter where the player explores vast wastes, shoots meets people, and levels up. Very good as far as RPG's go. Although the storyline isn't up to the par the gameplay, side missions, and worldbuilding sets, it's still a worthwhile experience, especially Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 3 Again,This Time with Mods and the DLC.

This certainly explains much of what the griffins were talking about, but raises questions on the whole drain thing. Where does magic come in, if it goes out through moperville? Could the government build some sort of magic turbine? Have they done so already? If universes are the faces of a coin, what makes up the center?

Off the pokemon topic, I recently beat XCOM: EW, and have picked up valkyria chronicles. So far, vc is easier, as it relies less on luck. The defensive tactics that xcom trained into me are rather effective when all your units have over watch and infinite grenades. I guess the challenge is going to be winning in only a few turns, I'm getting consistent c's and d's on time, though I've yet to lose a soldier.
