Aura Guardian replied to WillikaKillika's topic in Comic Discussion
Nanase, Elliot, Grace, and Not-Tengu are all able to fly magically with their own spells (and Ellen can with copy). The government's probably got a few fliers and a few illusionists; easy enough to make someone look like Elliot and fly. Though perhaps they should wait a few days to do it, so it doesn't seem like a reaction to what happened at the mall. -

Aura Guardian replied to Scotty's topic in Comic Discussion
It's one in a million, but it just might be what's needed. -
As long as Rhoda is asking about up or down... I don't think up suits her. (So, when's Pandora about to mark Catalina? hehehe)
-
What's the cat equivalent of a Loup-Garou? Because I think them combining powers might just achieve that.
-
So, has Susan found out what happened at the mall yet? So, uh, does Tensaided think that Susan is Ashley?
-
... If Magic itself is a huge dork, that... that would explain everything.
-
Maybe Mr. Verres should find someone to teach Diane to be a full hunter?
-
I'm not sure how I feel about name-based affinities, mainly BECAUSE it justifies those name groaners...
-
On the grounds that Jerry might not have thought "half" was a good idea to mention, I'll STILL refrain from the speculation, but I'm glad that at least "half-sister" is on the table.
-
No, Catalina is ignorant about this issue. It's definitely Shive the universe taunting Pandora right now.
-
I'm with you there because today has left me too confused to speculate.
-
I can't wait to see what Pandora does to that smarmy Voltaire Immortal.
-
Looks like Nanase is *also* wrong to suspect her, then. I hope she does get a mark, just not of those spells.
-
I can get behind this assessment.
-
I'm not too concerned at this time that magic will change the rules. I figure Tedd would reasonably quickly get people back and able to use it - considering what his power is, I'm gonna call "foreshadowed all over the place" on "it will change, Tedd will fix things, and (almost) everyone will end up happy"
-
Well, Pandora *is* called Chaos....
-
I just had a scary thought: What if Pandora later tries to arrange fights of increasing scale between mages and guns, to show magic that it's old rule is obsolete? I could just see it, given her instability and direction at this time.
-
I'm going to hop in the boat that thinks what they did was NOT a violation of Immortal law, but rather, something else later caused a forced reset.
-
http://www.egscomics.com/?id=2223 So, Pandora confirmed as behind the change? Also, Tedd confirmed as a wizard - but how does Disco Wizard know of that type of wizard?
-
I thought she was one of the Q&A girls at first.
-
I'm going to guess that Tedd's magitech is how Moperville will be cleansed of the extra magic. I wish that everyone could have had magic, but Magic

TV Tropes has an entry on this, called "Gambit Pileup" (link omitted to avoid SAN checks). [Also, though Dan hasn't read it, there's a book I read in the Vorkosigan saga in which a villain's worst enemy was their own previous plans; I'm hoping that this will remind me of that book]
-
Despite my newfound liking for Pandora's objectives (though not methods), I admit I find this a hilarious punishment of Pandora for her methods.
-
With this, has Pandora changed from villain to hero? Anyone got odds?
-
I love Pandora's last expression. But just before that, the "magic changing"... Interesting. I wonder if that's inspired by the Dresden Files and how magic has changed there. I really hope we get to see what that's like. That sounds like a good-case scenario for entertainment.
