    I feel very tired.
Trans visibility day always falls on March 31. Easter happened to fall on March 31. Certain Republican douchevolcanoes decided to pretend to be angered by this and demanded an apology from trans people in a blatant attempt to stir up outrage among their voters.
This is offensive in so many ways. Just to mention a few:
    1) They are demanding that trans people apologize for existing. They know perfectly well we won't and plan to use our refusal to further outrage their befuddled and frightened voters.
    2) Their pretense that it is somehow the responsibility of trans people that a holiday that falls on a different day EVERY YEAR happens to coincide with an unrelated holiday this year.
    3) Their use of a holiday meant to honour a man who preached tolerance and acceptance as a tool to further promote hatred and intolerance.
    4) Their assumption that their voters are so blisteringly dim-witted so as not to know how calendars work.
    5) The possibility that a number of them actually are that dim offends me personally.
    Sigh.

I am thinking that an Immortal who marks a person leaves some detectable trace behind, so they effectively have Pandora’s “fingerprints” on them.

I don't remember if we have any more specific information, but think it's been spring in the comic for a little while now. Given that everyone in this story so far is wearing short sleeved shirts (even outside, as seen in the first couple pages), I'd say probably mid to late spring - so graduation is probably no more than a few weeks away.
I don't follow your train of thought, and suspect you're misunderstanding the comic. The movie that Susan and Elliot just watched prior to the non-flashback part of this comic was about high school, which got Susan thinking about how "we're" (we are = we will be) graduating soon. It hasn't happened yet.

Our area got hit by the edge of the remnants of Lee yesterday. It was a rainy, windy day. We nearly lost power twice, and did loose it around 10 PM; it was off most of the night, though it was back on by 8 AM this morning. I haven't surveyed the yard to see if there's any damage, but at least based on what I can see out the windows, everything seems fine (other than one large tree branch that fell on the lawn, but didn't hit anything).

I consider Lincoln a hero, and am very glad that he freed America's slaves. And anyone who claims the Civil War was about "States' Rights" is lying (or badly misinformed); the only right the Confederacy was fighting for was the "right" to keep slaves.
All that said, my understanding is that "Preserving the Union" was a higher priority for Lincoln than freeing slaves, and that it was his primary motivation for waging war against the Confederacy. So even with Lincoln there's room to question his motives and decisions (but then, there's no rule that heroes have to be perfect).

You make me feel inadequate.  I feel good if I make a meal that takes more than one pan and has more than 3 ingredients.

You get a Lamp of Diogenes and use it for lighting in Plato's Cave. Once inside you cross the Einstein-Rosen bridge to where you will find the box with Schrödinger's Cat. The replacement blades lie right next to the box.

I use the spoon theory.  Some days I have more spoons than other.  Tedd has just gotten a larger pile of spoons, but when they are go, they are gone until they get a chance to recharge.

And I just beat FF with the above mentioned team. I wound up only doing two of the bonus dungeons before giving the final boss another try; a few more experience levels and the more powerful healing items you get in those dungeons made a huge difference. I'm not sure if I'm going to bother doing the rest of the bonus dungeons; they really aren't nearly as good as the original parts of the game.

I have a feeling that the Immortals are less than 100% free to rewrite their laws any way they like - that there are some constraints they can't violate, or maybe they can violate a little bit over on this edge if they are careful to stay sufficiently clear of that edge over there.
And that the "can't go through walls" is a side effect which they discovered after agreeing to new rules.

I don't know about Explorer, but there's at least one feline who posts on the forums. Granted, I'm fictional, but as we're still managing to communicate I'd say it still counts.

ChronosCat got a reaction from Darth Fluffy in The Weather.
Temperatures hovering around 0 F today and tomorrow during the daytime (much colder at night), with high winds. Apparently the wind chill is something like -30, with the wind chill potentially getting down to -50 overnight. The weather report said that at these conditions, frostbite can set in on exposed skin in 5-10 minutes.
Needless to say, my plans involve spending a little time as possible outside, staying out for no more than a few minutes at at time, and bundling up as much as possible when I do.
(Incidentally, while we usually get subzero temperatures for a few days or even a week or so during January and/or February, I can't ever remember a time when the windchill was this bad. It's also a very strange flip from the rest of the winter thus far, which was far warmer than usual.)

My dad always told me if The Groundhog sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter.  If The Groundhog does not see his shadow, spring will arrive in a month and a half.

Before the magic not-change, items in that Government werehouse had been dismissed as low-powered or inoperative.  It was intentionally set up as a trap to lure in people looking to steal magic items.  Info about everything in the inventory had, at some point, been deliberately leaked to fringe websites that were most certainly not poorly disguised pages set up and monitored by interns from any of the Alphabet Soup agencies

Yesterday evening my laptop suddenly stopped detecting any Wi-Fi signals; borrowing my parents' laptop I determined that the Wi-Fi was fine - my laptop was the problem. Restarting the computer only made it worse - now the icon on the taskbar and the entry in the settings for Wi-Fi were gone entirely. I didn't want to wait for a computer repair place to be open to fix the problem (or to either pay for someone to fix it or try to make use of the warranty) if I didn't have to, so I used my parents' computer to go to the website of my computer's manufacturer (ASUS) and check the support section for suggestions.
I found a solution that seems to have worked for the moment, but before I thought to go to the ASUS site I found a bunch of Redit posts complaining about the network card my laptop has (and the drivers for said card) not being very reliable, and some people talking about having this problem repeatedly. So now I find myself worried that my laptop's wireless functions could malfunction again at any time without warning.

    Early impressions of Windows 11:
I don't know if I'm less flexible these days or the differences are really greater, but it felt much more jarring going from Windows 8.1 to 11 than it did a decade ago going from Mac OSX to Windows 8. That said, after a couple days working with it (mostly setting it up and playing around with settings) I'm starting to get used to it, and it seems decent enough. (On the other hand, most of the other software the laptop came with is disappointing at best, and outright junk in many cases.)
I have two problems with it. One is a bug that might be a problem with drivers or a conflict with the included software rather than Windows itself: when I leave it sleeping for more than a few minutes, when it wakes up all my programs have closed (which rather defeats the purpose of sleep mode). Thankfully this doesn't happen if I tell it to hibernate instead, so until I find a solution I can use that as a workaround.
The other is that I miss how in 8.1's Start Menu you could group pinned items to better organize them. It looks like Start11 adds that functionality back in (thanks for the suggestion, @ProfessorTomoe), so I'll have to check that out.

I never say "There is no trap here" but say "you don't think there is a trap" or if I roll a 20 (or sometimes a 1) "You are almost certain that there is no trap here".  If I rolled that they did find one, I'll say "You think there is a trap".  I'll also say that if I roll badly and there isn't a trap.

That is in large part due to having a two party system  If we had a multiparty system like most countries do we might get more rational leaders.  I said might, not would.

Heat death is actually the most optimistic scenario, since it allows for life to persist the longest. Even after all stars run out of fuel and there is no longer enough hydrogen and helium to produce new ones, technological species can still produce usable energy by feeding what is left to black holes until protons themselves decay away.
The Big Rip, on the other hand, produces a fascinating symmetry to the universe—the final state of ultra-rapid expansion is mathematically identical to the inflationary stage in the Big Bang. This suggests an eternal cycle, in which inflation slows to allow matter to form, then after a time accelerates again and rips it apart, only to begin again.
