Honestly I did find your comment a bit brusque, and assumed you to be offended. It wasn't all that bad though, and it was for a good cause, so I wasn't planning on holding it against you. Anyway, apology accepted.
Your first mistake is in expecting English to make sense.

Noted. (...Actually, looking at the usage guides on wiktionary, even replacing "transgendered" with "transgender" in my sentence wouldn't have fully corrected it; it probably should have been "transgender people" (minus the preceding "the" of course)...)
(A bit of a heads up: it's likely I'll make similar mistakes in the future. I'm not very social, and this forum is pretty much the only community where I have a chance to talk about such things; as a result I'm a bit out of touch with the correct terminology. Please do continue to correct me, but try to be gentle. )

The jokes about Arthur always seeing Tedd in girl form notwithstanding, there is no chance that Arthur might not become aware of Tedd having and using boy form. Hiding this information from him is technically part of not outing Tedd, however it will be short-lived and would mean missing opportunity to control how Arthur finds out Tedd has boy form.
The preferred option here might be insisting Tedd is boy. At worst case, Elliot and Ellen might seem stupid and/or rude to Tedd, but there is reasonable chance Arthur will get the point that Tedd being girl is not public, while being completely in sync with not outing Tedd  to Ashley.
(Why it seems perfectly normal to me to use "girl" for 18 year old female but weird to use "boy" for 18 year old male?)
Not true. Sure, if it's bigotry, Arthur could yell all day, but if it's ignorance, Arthur is in position to cause Edward think, because unlike Tedd he's adult and authority figure.
(Wait ... he's adult or he's an adult?)

It's entirely possible Arthur has already figured out Tedd's gender-fluidity and is merely being respectful. (It's also possible that he has no clue, and his referring to Tedd as female in front of Mr. Verres will have no more consequences than Mr. Verres "correcting" him.) The problem comes if he's curious and decides to investigate the matter in such a manner that Mr. Verres becomes aware that there's more to Tedd's female transformations than Mr. Verres realized, or if he otherwise accidentally outs Tedd to Mr. Verres due to his lack of understanding of the situation (and Mr. Verres doesn't take it well).
My reasoning was that if one has not been told that information that one is in possession of is supposed to be secret, one must decide for oneself whether it should be kept secret in any specific situation. What I obviously failed to take into account was that in some cases (gender identity being one of them), the default assumption should be that it is a secret, so not having been told one way or the other is a moot point.
I had a nagging suspicion that I hadn't thought that part of my post through fully, but I had no idea I had messed up so badly; thank you for pointing that out. (It's actually rather ironic I would make this mistake, given that IRL I'm quite selective as to who I reveal my own gender-fluidity to...)
I suppose under the circumstances, ignoring Arthur's use of pronouns and hoping for the best is probably Ellen and Elliot's best option.

I'm not sure the latter is necessarily worse. I can think of at least one case of a guy who won an election and used that to take control of a country that built one of the finest armies in the world...

What just popped into my head: Goonmanji 2 ends without Kitty being stopped. Some time later, in a different non-canon story she shows up and starts transforming people, and they have to explain to her that the transformation rampage is over.

I was sorta implying either such cause is in effect or that the genie is in so good mood he will let it slide.
    ...
of course, thinking about it, IF the Genie can add tragic backstory, it means he can change past and can do it again. So, on second wish, Mary Sue can fix that. Now, she's Mary Sue, so she certainly KNOWS how, and the Genie would be total jerk if he would do something unexpected on her second wish anyway because only total jerks don't love Mary Sue.

Mosquitoes that get in despite screens (possibly coming in when people go through the door) then buzz around you (occasionally biting you) all night. We somehow wound up with dozens of mosquitoes in the house last night, and I lost several hours of sleep thanks to them...
(I wasn't quite sure whether to put this in the "annoyed" or "MAD" thread, because this isn't quite a capslock situation... but after having gotten only a few hours of sleep thanks to these mosquitoes I'm a lot more than just annoyed.)

    Certainly
And that perspective is fully valid. As you yourself say, it differs for everyone. Certainly it is worth noting that Ellen is a fictional character and that your very real lived experience obviously carries a great deal of weight.

And I am very glad that you feel that way. It is a sad fact of life that not everyone appreciate its gift equally, unfortunately. And not all do so merely from being 'emo', as it has somewhat dismissively been phrased. There are people who suffer from profound mental illness or have lived through so severe trauma that life seems more burden than gift to them.
I myself happen to have some experience in that direction. I suffer from clinical depression and a rather severe anxiety disorder. These days I have medication that allows me to live much closer to a normal existence but earlier in my life both my conditions remained undiagnosed and thus obviously untreated as well. I say this in order to explain that I have personally experienced such an intense state of depression and anxiety that I quite literally no longer really cared whether I lived or died, and as a result very nearly did get killed. This event did convince me to finally seek out psychiatric aid (something I had avoided for years then due to very bad earlier experiences with the system), something my one-day-to-be-wife had repeatedly urged me to do.
My point with this is that I fully understand being in a state where one does not really appreciate the gift of life, and the anger one may experience during its aftermath. Suffice it to say that I fully appreciate Ellen's point of view and would happily hold her coat while she explained it to Magus.
I think I understand. I can relate to that, too. In fact, I will say this: having been so close to death, I now hold a much greater appreciation for the life I have.

How can you possibly get the two of them confused when Ellen has green hair?!

Under many circumstances, shooting "sleep" first and asking questions later would be the safest action to take. Unfortunately, in this case it leaves no one to tell Arthur that the real culprit is getting away (except Kevin, who probably doesn't know enough about the situation to explain that much, and also is probably going to be less likely to be believed than a human being).
The spell also wouldn't have helped much if the Golem were still active, and isn't going to help with any other active and dangerous artifacts either.
Incidentally, with Elliot, Ellen, and Ashley's adventures in the Warehouse presumably over, I wonder if we're even going to find out what the core of the Diamond was in this story?

We are rooting for "Magus wins but is too tired to cast anything else", obviously.
But even if we don't get this ideal result, well ... Magus can be argued with and in worst case, Tedd can change Ellen back. The golem doesn't speak english and Tedd doesn't have resurrection or raise dead spell yet ...

Why are there no more directors like Ishirō Honda?
If the special effects aren't by Eiji Tsuburaya, then they aren't really "Special".

And he'd have been dead, along with everyone else on all three ships long before he got there.  Humanity had known about how big the Earth is since the ancient Greeks, but Columbus thought that everyone else ever had gotten it wrong, and the world was much smaller than it really was.  If it weren't for bumping into a handy continent, if it'd all been empty ocean like he expected, they'd have run out of food and fresh water in the middle of that vast ocean and died miserably.

At this point I feel like mentioning that I've always imagined the Duck with a deep gravely voice. Not that women can't have deep gravely voices, but it's rare enough that it makes the idea of the Duck being female even more striking to me.

On the one hand, I love the idea, the catly abandon with which Catalina stretches, and the fact that Susan is completely herself, from her appearance to her being turned on by watching.
On the other hand, that tail is coming out the wrong place!  The tail is a continuation of the spine; if it came out where it's pictured, Catalina's pelvis would have nothing to attach to!  I know it can be hard to figure out how to combine clothing with tails, but completely breaking the anatomy just totally ruins any suspension of disbelief.  Better to have it emerge from the shorts in the right place with no explanation, or give it its own little "leg", or have it emerge from one of the normal legs of the shorts, or anything else that's actually possible.

I think Kevin can only teach magic to wizards (and only wizards), he can't cast any magic himself, except perhaps in the process of teaching his apprentice (in which case either he doesn't have enough power to harm the Golem or he knows Ashely isn't ready to learn such spells and isn't willing or able to bend the rules on when he can use magic).
As for the magpie, first of all we don't know it's going after the Golem - it could be going after a fourth, as yet unseen magical artifact.
Secondly, while all these other artifacts activating around it might be what triggered it to act, it's also possible that it had been intentionally shut down and the magic released by the destruction of the Dewitchery Diamond turned it back on.
In fact, I suspect that all these artifacts activating now is only related to the Magic Change in the sense that there are more potentially functional artifacts in the facility now than there were earlier in the day; I think it is the energy from the destruction of the diamond that's actually turning everything on. (Which means the same thing would have happened on a smaller scale even if Magus had done his resurrection trick before the Change. Pandora probably knew about this and didn't tell him, hoping to watch the fireworks; she'll be disappointed she missed it.)
