Sometimes, when a story really slows down, I worry that the author (not just Dan) does not know where to go with the story. How to connect where the story is to where the author wants to take it. How to properly close out this plotline. Or what the next plotline should be. I realize in Soap Operas, this is often intentional. But I didn't think this was G&S presented by P&G. -

Ashley, I know you were thrust from background to secondary to approaching-principal character status pretty quickly. But that is no excuse. You should have read the handbook and attended the staff meetings just like everyone else.

No doubt in my mind that what Magus and Sirleck did to Ashley, Ellen, and Elliot was wrong. No doubt in my mind that if Magus had asked the Dunkel Duo, they would have agreed to help. But without informed consent, what Magus did was about as much wrong one person can do to another while still leaving the victim alive, physically undamaged, and unrestrained. As for mouthless Ashley? I've said this before, but when Dan draws characters without mouths, it reminds me of the old "Henry" comic.

Toys Я Us is closing down. The only way the brand will survive at this point is with entirely new ownership. As a child in a small town, Toys Я Us was a magical concept that was always beyond the horizon. When I was first old enough to get to the store, it still seemed pretty special. I was particularly impressed with the wall that had almost every board game in print arranged alphabetically. But as time went on, the place began to suffer like every other discount retailer. I've heard more than a few people complain that Amazon killed Toys Я Us. But Amazon did attempt to work with the World's Biggest Toy Store. Toys Я Us could not keep up with the demands of Amazon customers. What will become of Geoffrey the Giraffe? -
Even if Magus and the Gryphons are not from the same place, the Gryphons may know something that would be useful to Magus. Especially if Magus does not have the means of transporting himself back to his home reality.

I normally count historically in the other direction. Did you know that at 1,000 BC, Iron, Bronze, and Stone Age Cultures were essentially living side by side? Think it's tough when your electronics don't work in another country? Try getting by when the locals don't even understand the wheel or abacus.

Jimmy maybe the expert. But Justin has a few advantages. One, he is already known to, and begrudgingly respected by, Mr Tensaided. And since the review show is still produced by Tensaided, that must count for something. Two, Justin has a following. Dozens of girls have been known to swoon for him. Sorry, Jimmy, but looks and fame do count. Three, unless there is a LOT about Jimmy having some sort of relationship with Susan we have yet to see, there is no way she is sharing a couch with Jimmy instead of Elliot or Justin.

Interesting... Sarah is the only one we have seen on screen in the comic. But Justin is such an expert on The Lucas that it seems a waste to keep him off camera. And it was Grace who convinced me that I should broaden my definition of what constitutes a "Christmas" movie. Thus, when they review Mark Stanley's Freefall in IMAX 3D, the episode host should be Jeremy.

Do you want to fight the confusing War of 1812 involving the Americans and British? That war ended with out either side losing anything except money and lives. And business between the two countries was back to normal almost immediately after Andrew Jackson's victory at New Orleans which occurred after the war had already ended. Or do you want to fight the Napoleon-Invades-Russia War of 1812? That war has much better music.

Perhaps instead of Goonmanji III, they might play a different game? Moperville Squares, anyone? Is there anyone in EGS who could be a worthy successor to Paul Lynde in the centre square?

Sirleck dodged a bullet, only to get kicked out of a window. I'm not surprised that Magus was able to dispatch Sirleck so quickly, once it was disconnected from a host and on the physical plane. I am a little surprised that Ashley went into Fay Wray mode so quickly upon Sirleck's exposure. She did not seem the type to panic at the Mall a few weeks ago.

When Hancock placed what now seems like a ridiculously large signature on the Declaration of Independence, it was actually his normal handwriting. That man was a giant. Not just in history, he was a literal giant dwelling in a castle in the clouds to which he had to commute via beanstalk. His hands were each almost a meter wide. Several species of giant birds were driven to extinction to provide that politician with suitable feathered quills. Wait... Was that John Hancock or Paul Bunyan? I'm always getting those two confused. One was a politician, one owned a giant blue ox. They were both accomplished at spreading fertilizer across the young country.
