I thought keeping the alien part secret would be on the table, but I'm not Grace (or Dan, for that matter). It might just be me, but I'm almost anticipating a tipping point in all this. Things are going too smoothly.

It is very easy to see when a comic is made solely with a particular agenda in mind, especially when it is in the advertising for it. Vox Day is one particular example, though I choose not to pay too much thought to it because I think it is doomed to failure just based on the premise of which their line was built upon.

I was tempted to consider the Uryuom revelation in this chapter may have some ties with the Lespuko, but the distinct contrast in their physiology from Uryuom is hard to miss. I'm tempted to claim this was far back enough that it was before Lespuko and Uryuom became distinct from one another, but I won't push the issue. On the other hand, this could explain the Second Life Universe - in the Second Life Universe, the Uryuom left the library alone and instead became integrated into society and Human life on Earth. It depends on how far back Uryuom history in the Second Life world went.

Diligent researchers, eh? http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2192 -
http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=705 Susan, you've seen what some "Sensei" depictions are like, right? You're probably better off with furry.

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php Now I'm starting to wonder what kinds of works Ashley reads in her spare time (which are not books and are online), or fan-art/original art she views.

The game would go by quickly if you couldn't, and it also raises the stakes and level of hi-jinx. Things are going to be...interesting by the time the game ends, so to speak. Rhoda's busty and a cheerleader dog-girl in just the first round. Future rounds could get into some weird s***.

Who wants to bet that we'll see a number of the TFs Tedd once listed off on his computer appearing here? http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=223

Never endow a board game with magical sentience.

http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2409 Well, the "apocalypse warnings" in real life are falsehoods, but the apocalypsis of Diane and Susan finding their true parentage with Raven is about to unfold.

Best way to get people to do things they ordinarily wouldn't: mention the person they have adoration for. I have a feeling Susan is going to get the brunt of the transformations, and the ladies will be rendered catatonic by the end result.

I think Dan was just being sarcastic (suspiciously specific denial), meaning there is an overlap. On the other hand, I get the impression from his NP and story vs. the pin-ups that he writes "clean", but leaves the more "adult" stuff be as fantasies.

I think that has been one of the first things on just about everyone's minds when we first got our implications that, yes, half-immortals can have children. Though when the cat does come out of the bag, I see three things: Shock from Adrian at the realization that he does have children, one of them to whom he has shown dislike for putting on "valley girl bimbo" routines. Horror on the part of Diana, when she realizes that one of the oldest teachers in her school, whom she is probably terrified of, is her real dad. Susan... - sighs - I believe the term "world falling apart around her" would qualify, given the impact of learning that the Dad she hated all these years for cheating on her Mom may not be her real father, and the...implication of such.- 23 replies

Called it. Probably. It is possible that she is too nice in real life to do anything to other people, but writing stories is another thing.

http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=2399 I am starting to think that Ashley is pathologically 'too nice'. I can only imagine this level of niceness being used against her at some point.

If they're a Japanese manga/anime obsessed immortal, it wouldn't half-surprised me if their recent reincarnation based its appearance specifically off of manga/anime character designs.
-
What is this about Tedd being immortal? Is it something people are considering due to his unique nature and what the Space Whale said? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the other hand, the fact that Tedd is confirmed to be able to learn spells and use them means that he could possess a hell of a lot of versatility when it comes to his repertoire in the future. He hasn't seen Nanase's Guardian Form, IIRC, but this might mean he'll be able to copy and use that as well.

"Public speaking enhancer". A bit overblown, if not exaggeratedly spot-on about "modern public speaking enhancers", wouldn't you say? -
We have all seen that point at one time or another. I was half-thinking that Elliot went Super Saiyan in this comics, he was so mad (glowing eyes and all).

I considered that possibility myself. If Magic resets, then all the magical criminals they have to deal with will also be de-powered. But that also brings up the question of whether he may know Tedd's true nature, and wants to monopolize Magic through him... -

On the other hand, Mr. Verres' superior seems to WANT magic to be more widely known. Rather, Arthur claims that how easily it can be used is the real problem, and we do not know what his long-term objects are . -
Elliot got a new spell recently and he is oblivious to it at the moment. For all we know, the acquisition of his new spell may mark the end of all the energy build-ups. But this is the first time Elliot has heard Tedd speak that day, and he likely is not aware of Tedd's mark yet, so...Yeah, I'm going for Tedd being a girl at this point.

So does this mean Rhoda's spell branched off? First she changes her size (or the size of anyone else); now she can change her shape (since size change technically is a "change of shape"). Though I realize now that this actually fits with her character, since she completely changed her appearance after she got too much attention after the stunt Pandora pulled.

One thing that puzzles me is that, as far as memory serves, neither Susan nor Diane share a hair color with either Mr. or Mrs. Pompom. It makes me kind of worried that the big reveal will be that the one who "cheated" at the time Susan and Diane were born was not Mr. Pompom, but Mrs. Pompom. That is why I think there was such emphasis on Susan's perception on how her mother would react to the news that Susan had a sister (or half-sister). But the question is would Dan go that dark with the storyline.
