Ah. Yes. I can see that. This sounds frighteningly plausible in Tedd's case. I am very glad she has Elliot to support her.

There's a type of freaking out that's so deep that often other people can't tell there is anything major wrong. I've seen in in cancer patients, their whole world is (or might be) so suddenly and rapidly falling apart that they can't process it. They just go about their life doing what little they can, with whatever control they have, until they can process it into words.

You are not alone. Tedd has had her entire rug of dreams and ambitions yanked away from under her and she has to deal with this on top of everyone else. What is strange is not that she is making plans for a worst case contingency but that she is dealing as calmly with it as she is.

I can't be the only one who wants to give Tedd a big hug right now and tell her it's all going to be ok. Dysphoria is literally indescribable to someone who has never had to live it. The thought of being granted a 'treatment' (don't know what else to call it) like Tedd's mark and then being told my every use is risking it's loss would be devastating to me.

 
No-kill runs are some of the most fun to watch, while at the same time being the most frustrating to watch.

I remember this from a forum I used to frequent years ago...
Basically, how it works is the first player posts the name of their new band and what style of music they play (EG: My new band's name is The Alien Elf Brigade. We're an electro-pop group with some mariachi influence.)
The second player then names their first album and gives a short review or discussion of how well it did (EG: 'Dia de los Green Dudes' sold like a brick - pity, the songs were super danceable. At least the club deejays are starting to work it into rotation.) and then gives the name of their new band for the next poster. 
Alright, that seems straightforward enough - let's get the ball rolling. 
 
My new band is Nine Robots a Beeping. We do techno covers of Motown songs. 
 
 

Dan has tweeted that immediately after the MV5 story is done, the next one will be about Grace playing video games again, the NP "should" last 6 weeks (barring any delays or extra stuff Dan thinks of). He hasn't said what game Grace will be playing but this tweet:
I responded back with the guess of Fallout NV (New Vegas) since Dan had been playing a lot of that recently.  This got a like from Dan.
Now, this may not be confirmation that I guessed correctly, it could be just to acknowledge that I know he's been playing that, but it does make me wonder how Grace would handle playing any Fallout game.  I've only played New Vegas and haven't completed it either, but I do know that you can either be the hero type that helps those in need and takes out the bad guys, or you can be a real jerk and steal, kill and double cross for your own gains. We know Grace hates violence, but only when it's real people involved, she's completely fine with movies portraying violence because she knows it's not real and she likes watching the good guys kick arse, so the question is, how would Grace play Fallout? Logically she'd likely play the good guy, but what if she decides to try her hand at being a bad guy for a change, she knows it's just a game, but can she still bring herself to some of the more questionable activities in New Vegas?
 
If it was Fallout 4, I could only see one thing happening.
Grace: "I can make roasted dogmeat? Why would I want to eat him!?!?"

I could probably safely place this story happening between the breakup and New Years Eve (28th or 29th), Sarah could have come up with the idea of making MV5 as a way to get her mind off of the breakup, which goes with her reaction Ellen's sister comment. It can't be the 30th because Ellen and Elliot were together discussing Susan's birthday and when Grace had called Ellen, she looked as if she was in "just gonna chill around the house" mode and while we don't really know how much time pasted during this NP, it was probably longer than "Playing with Dolls" especially if you account for them playing video games afterwards.
It also couldn't have been New Years even or New Years day cus, well parties and monsters and burnouts and such. January 2nd would be out too because of Ellen and Nanase getting together to discuss what they learned the previous couple days, as well as play with magic. Beyond that we get into Elliot Sarah and Susan working on the video revealing the breakup and then school stuffs.

So the energy clog is stopping magic from entering the griffins' world? That doesn't sound good. If I had to guess, I'd say it probably doesn't make the magic users in that world weaker, but it might stop them from learning new magic. Then again, Andrea pretty much said that Moperville is not the only place where magic travels between the two worlds, so maybe the problem is not at the griffins' end at all. They might just be worried that this half of the world can't handle too much ambient magic.

I believe all those universes are different coins, but if the dice theory is more correct, then it's entirely possible that all the universes seen in the comic so far are connected to each other.

Those are the most entertaining arguments to shut down with a clever quip, and most satsifying to watch the faces of exasperation and see the moment of clarity.

Oh, yeah. I am back. I was still pretty new when the old forums went kaput. But I went through and re-registered as soon as I could and everything. :3

I don't think they're based on any characters from the show, they're simply themselves ponified and that's just fine with me. Also, I'm glad that Dan didn't make them all unicorns even though everyone in the Main Eight can use magic now. So far we know that Grace is a unicorn and Justin, Sarah and Ellen are Earth ponies. I'm pretty sure that makes Elliot an Earth pony too, considering how Ellen was created. That leaves Tedd, Susan and Nanase. Nanase is a powerful magic user, so she should probably be a unicorn, but hey, she can fly, so she could be a pegasus. What do you guys think? As for Tedd and Susan, they are most likely either unicorns or Earth ponies. It's impossible to have an even number of three races when there are eight main characters, so it really doesn't matter if there is only one pegasus in the Mane Eight.

This entire story line has had me feeling for various characters and/or laughing at how the situation can be like my life at times. In this particular case I live in a nudist household. I am pretty fine with my room mates seeing me in just about any state of dress/undress. But when we all hear a particular boyfriend (Or worse, family) walks through the door *zoom* all of a sudden everyone is dressed.

I think you meant this as a joke but that is pretty much what happens when you often find yourself needing to get dressed in a hurry in your own home.
