I spoke too soon. Of course, house of ordinary member of law enforcement is unlikely to have any special protection, while Edward house has LOT of protections. And Grace is not really martial artists. But it's apparently close enough to truth Elliot can say it, and at the same time keep the secrets. And, yes, technically there is no chance of repeat of your second date as Shirleck is dead and Magus is unlikely to risk returning. BTW, not sure how many alien invasions Edward prevented but he saved Earth multiple times.

However, I think Grace's left hand is not in correct position for hug. ... and yes, they will need to tell Elliot again. So what? It's not that long (and it might get even shorter with more training) and it doesn't need to be on-panel. EDIT: I see I'm three hours late, sorry, somehow I overlooked the thread is already here. http://egscomics.com/comic/party-012 [space for spoilers] Imaginary Jedi Justin is right, and in fact I hate it when viewpoint characters lie in fiction, but I still kind of wish they had decided to make this a celebration of Ellen's creation. I think that's something that ought to be celebrated, but seeing as how I don't think Dan is likely to do two party storylines close together, the fact that this isn't it suggests either there isn't going to be one or it's only going to be mentioned in passing.

She didn't needed to hide EVERYTHING. Her seeing griffin was public fact, so she had at least something she could talk about and hide the secret details under. Second date, meanwhile? Let's see ... she's wizard, secret. Wizards exists, secret. Aberrations, secret. She was kidnapped by two, secret. Due to Magus needing Elliot, secret. She MIGHT mention being kidnapped, but it would be quite hard to explain how she was so unfortunate to be kidnapped on date which was in Elliot's home, then let go without paying anything and without police appearing around ... and, frankly, it's not what's concerns her most anyway. And on top of that, now she's actually aware that all that secret stuff is actually being kept secret by secret organization. And they are going to tell her even more secrets. I suspect that if they don't find out Liz is marked she's going to lose her as friend. Also, Liz might suspect she's gotten in some sect. Which might technically be true.

I feel kind of sorry for the people waiting for their sketchbook requests to be done, though - it's been a few years since Dan accepted those requests, so they've been waiting for years! -

I mean, Grace-Mon-verse Sarah and Diane are in a relationship, and Nanase Craft and Assistant Sarah are on the way to one, but main-universe Sarah is still just coming to terms with her attraction to women. Also this kiss feels very out of the blue; I was not expecting the Q&A versions of the characters to be in different relationships than the main-universe versions...

I'm surprised the fact if the shrinking "tastes spicy" doesn't make a difference. Although, sweet or spicy, I suppose as long as it defies square cube law the height of voice has nothing to do with physics. ... uuuhh, how would shrinking Elliot less make easier to hide anything objectionable?
