Comic for Wednesday, May 28, 2025 Merry Cringemas, Hope! Cringe Cringle will be coming down your chimney tonight, so be sure to leave out milk and cookies! Edward seems to have picked up his empathy stat, that's helpful. I think what Hope is going through is why Immortals don't remember their past lives. Although I'd guess that Voltaire might be fine with his. He's practically an Immortal aberration. The big question is, "Is Hope's empathy and regret a sign that she can be different than her past, of is the regression due to age inevitable." Perhaps having real friends can give her a different future?

Comic for Friday, May 23, 2025 I wonder at what point in their reboot lives immortals are able to vote on their new rules? They must need to grow in awareness beforehand; Hope seemed very child-like in her initial cameos. She is apparently not fully in touch with changes in magic and changes in the rules. Yet, Pandora passed on more knowledge that an immortal normally does. Makes me wonder how they even function. Other than raising that emergence of cognizance issue, today's comic didn't move the plot forward, did it? Hope 'becoming presentable' - she seems to think copying someone else's fashion is safer ground, yet she already looked OK. If she wanted to garner sympathy from Edward, the pigtails she wore last night might have served better.

Comic for Monday, Mar 17, 2025 Immortal not understanding human moral judgement - Hope does not get the concept of keeping others secrets. Hope seems proud of herself for the reveal, for remembering and figuring things out. Grace seemed to anticipate the issue, maybe not expecting Hope to be so direct, but I assume she was guessing it was Rhoda. The main cast are in shock, maybe because Hope is a bit of a loose cannon, 'I might be next', or maybe because the reached the wrong conclusion previously regarding Rhoda and Catalina. Jay/Jill seems to be a bit put off. Probably senses something weird just happened, but not sure what. Maybe sees Hope a bit too bubbly about Pandora's past actions, but she's be unaware of much of it. It's getting interesting.

Comic for Monday, Mar 3, 2025 I like the progress in this comic, it is moving forward. Hope's expression in the second panel, "Yeah, I caused that in a previous life"; priceless. Seems Arthur made an awful judgement call. He could have put together some innocuous spells that would have satisfied her; instead, he cut her off and made her search on her own; he lost control of the situation. I don't recall transformation being a thin in The Sword in the Stone, but it's been ages since I saw it. 'Does 'Gasp' say "Grace likes it, too" to every body else? I didn't get that 'til I read the commentary. The last I recall, the main cast is not in the know about Rhoda and Catalina's magic. Why does Grace sound like she knew Rhoda had size magic? I could see them figuring out that it is Rhoda after comparing notes, but this skips several steps. Even "Why, do you know her?" seems unwarranted; they haven't been given enough information about this person, unless they specifically know she has size magic, and that it is uncommon. Still warts and all, I'm glad it's rolling forward.

NP Comic for Wednesday, Feb 26, 2025 <facepalm> This version of Edward is not the sharpest tool in the shed, is he? Go back and review your marriage plan, why did you bother? A mutually agreed to arrangement is not heinous per se, but having no basis for the underlying marriage makes the marriage questionable. A three day ball with no arrangements to house and feed the attendees seems daunting for their participation; travel was not trivial. The large number of attendees suggests this isn't happening. Seems unrealistic.
