I'm guessing that originally it was personal feelings that were preserved, then someone found a way to instead use that capability to pass on more knowledge and a bigger "starter seed" of power, and the temptation to save more and more power crept up on them untill personal feelings got crowded out.

I knew you got the joke, many people don't however. Geography can explain a lot. I am a big fan of it but this isn't the place to talk about it.

I did not see that coming.  I thought Tedd would be needing hugs but it looks like Pandora is the one who does.  Tedd reaching out to Pandora doesn't surprise me.  As you said, he is a protector/healer who is at heart a tremendously sensitive soul.  What has surprised me is how much strength Tedd has shown in hearing hard truths about his life.  Really, his parents as well have underestimated him, even Edward who should know him best.  I get it, the desire to protect can blind you, but Tedd, with the help of his friends, especially Elliott and Grace, isn't the bomb waiting to go off that Ellen fears.

Until the two sit down and clear the air Tedd is going to feel exactly the same way regardless. 
I think the most important indicator of Ed Verres' character is not how he goes into the talk but how he comes out.

It's a chance you take with any therapist in the Real World.  They aren't interchangeable and they have to establish a rapport with their patient to be effective. 
Anybody that is highly judgemental of Tedd isn't going to get any useful work done with him.  Ed Verres ought to understand that at least.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't end with Grace realizing that there's a security camera.

Most likely, the person who's summoned will not be affected at all and Susan would get Nase-like puppet. If it would work at all, I mean - not working is also very likely possibility.
But I agree that Susan would be thinking about the other variants you described and certainly would want to be ready if they happen. After all, she DID asked Nanase if something is happening to her (and no, Nanase didn't felt it at all).
I think there is limit of what counts as storage ... on the other hand, with Susan getting better at magic, this limit might increase, so ...
 

Of course, if she does "go first person" she will feel things (be "touched back") right through the spell. It would be ironic if she got used to being held in someone's hand before she got used to holding hands.

Not sure what has Chuck Norris to do with Charles of Wales, but the difference is that Adrian nor Pandora are not AWARE of this. Elizabeth II is perfectly aware.
I'm pretty sure outliving lot of Heirs Apparent speaks more about family relationships than about who's fictional. Even in most fictional settings children usually outlive their parents unless some accident happens (like, falling from stairs with dagger in back or being trampled to death by enraged elephant).

Oh Elliot. You want so badly to apologise but can't make yourself reopen an old wound. So you do all you can to show Tedd now how much you accept what he is. I think I love Elliot more now than I ever have before.

To me, Tess here is pushing the limits of what I care to see; she's way to close to being unidentifiable as the Tess/Tedd we have grown to like, more like watching a random  character transform. 
I think the "tell" that is critically missing is her expression -- Tess/Tedd would be ecstatic not in the stressed, almost frenetic way this pose shows, but in a more comfortable way, relaxed and contented with the transformation.

 
Well, I did say most boyfriends....  I bought it from the Disney World gift shop after discovering I'd forgotten to pack anything to sleep in, and it was definitely labeled as either a "sleep shirt" or "nightie," I forget which.
This is the same company from which I have since purchased both shackles (from the Pirates of the Carribean ride's gift shop) and "Imperial Binders" (from the Star Wars gift shop), so they are either kinkier than they let on, or more oblivious/naïve than a megacorp has any right to be. ;-)
