Canonically, we have not been told or even hinted that Susan has learned Nanase's fairy spell at all. (Not saying it can't happen, or even that it hasn't happened.) What we've seen is that Susan, Nanase, and either Grace or Tedd (I forget which, maybe both) worked together for Nanase to make a bunch of fairydolls to Susan's specifications, and then Susan put them in her marked box and is now able to summon more than one (magical, animated copy of one) of them at a time.
We also don't know whether she can summon more than one copy of *one* fairydoll. Or if she can summon copies of two non-fairydoll objects, or a fairydoll and another object.
Another point: having specific ritual gestures or incantations can serve another function. In that, if you aren't doing the ritual or incantation, your subconscious is made aware that you aren't doing magic. This can be useful for, say, not accidentally starting fires in inconvenient circumstances.

I've speculated before that Adrian's main magic weapon spell isn't to summon a magic weapon, but to enchant a physical weapon into a magical one. In that case, he wouldn't have to worry as much about his weapon breaking in the middle of the fight, but he would need a weapon in the first place, which he didn't have at the mall (Fighting aberrations is not a common occurrence). Though he does have at least one spell that summons a magical attack, his Murder Shroud. Unfortunately, that's a heavily telegraphed attack, so it's unlikely to work well if the target knows what the spell does.

Dan loves foreshadowing so much that he's doing it even when he doesn't realize he's doing it.

In the commentary, Dan put Sirleck's demise pretty definitively.
Though they're not in the clear yet. Magus did just throw around a bunch of crates full of potentially dangerous, reactivated artifacts. I imagine events are going to escalate very rapidly on the next few pages
There is also that to consider. I wonder how tightly he's held onto that grudge and whether or not he'll keep holding on to it after he's learned about what she did at the mall

    Vlad was not a aberration.
Vlad did not give up humanity for power.
Vlad was made that way as part of an experiment.

It's confirmed, Ellen was able to fight back because she's just that awesome. Er, I mean because she was born from magic. (And yes technically it's just speculation in-comic, but the commentary implies she's right about the "born from magic" idea.)
Meanwhile, Sirleck looks even more creepy than usual in the last two panels, but a lot less imposing. Seen from that angle, he looks like the sort of JRPG monster you can beat in two or three turns at most if you're the proper level for the area. ...Which is rather appropriate since I expect Magus is about to trounce him.

Maybe the car was actually an Aberration and got destroyed when Pandora cast her last big spell.

Back when I was ridding a bike to work I was convinced that about 1/3 of all cars were, in fact, demons from hell.
Now that I am walking I'm thinking the number is closer to 1/6th, with the others being just driven by morons.

But... but then he won't ever meet his Madamleck so they can have their happily ever after
I wonder what they might read.
    "Battlefront 2 Loot Box."
"Stored by request of Pandora*, please return unopened."
*The actual one, not one of the 243243243423423 Immortals calling themselves that.
A sign reading "This side up", right at the bottom.
"Do Not Open On Any Account. No Really Don't. We Mean It. We Are Serious. Don't Come Afterwards And Tell Us We Didn't Warn You."
"Odd tape containing 18½ minutes of some guy named Richard rambling about how much he hates stuff."
    And so forth.

It need not be a bad thing. It may serve as both a helpful reminder of the value of humility as well as a spur to do better.

Interesting how a story gaining fame can rob it of some of it's intended context. Like how there will never be a true-to-form adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, because everyone already knows the twist to the mystery at the end.

I just realised that Voltaire is not even nearly as smart as he thought he was. He had hoped that magic's change would do away with the current crop of magicians. But if it had indeed changed, the doomsday scenario Tedd and the other seers foresaw would have happened and magic would have had to become permanent shortly after -- with two systems loose instead of one. So Voltaire's master plan to render humanity helpless by traumatising Tedd would, had it worked, instead armed the mortals with a hell of a lot bigger arsenal.

The Moderator: I truly apologise but I do not currently feel able to reopen the politics thread. I am entirely to blame as it is my judgment that it would at this time be too difficult for me to manage to remain aloof in judging potential conflicts. I am very sorry.

That depends on the interpretation of "can"...
Is physically capable of? Yes, he certainly CAN say no. For that matter, at present the job offer is conditional, and he could very easily just fail to meet the conditions - thus, no job offer. By, for example, NOT arranging his notes into a suitable format and sending Arthur a copy. Heck, it's theoretically possible he'll TRY to meet those conditions, and fail. (I so do not see that happening.)
And if he decides he doesn't want to work under DGB, no they can't force him. Do they want to try? Maybe kidnap or threaten Grace? Yeah... bring in a genius researcher and seer by convincing him that you're evil and the enemy of what he holds dear. Anger his friends and relatives - they would definitely be concerned about Nanase, Elliot, Ellen, and Edward, possibly about Susan, Sarah, and Justin. Anger Grace's friends and relatives - her three brothers, Edward (again), Vladia, Hedge, Guineas, Raven. They'd all chat with THEIR friends and relatives - Catalina, Diane, Rhoda, Noah, Luke (and, through him, his circle), Mamase (I think she's still keeping significant secrets), Greg, Agent Wolf, Agent Cranium... I don't know how it might spread from there, or how much of that potential growth DGB would be aware of, but it seriously doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
Different interpretation: can Tedd seriously consider saying no? There, I doubt it. It's too good a deal - he gets paid (probably well) to do what he wants to do anyway, he gets equipment and assistance he can't afford on his own, he would have access to (and the necessary contacts to find) whatever relevant expertise DGB may have available which might allow him to get significant results faster...

To be honest I don't think any forcing would be necessary, Arthur was Edward's prior boss and taught him everything he knows and while Edward was thoroughly confused by Arthur's actions when retook the position as head of the paranormal division, I don't think Edward had any disrepect for Arthur, and we know Arthur has loads of respect for Edward since he agreed to doing the fake Cheerleadra sighting. Of course if they have to both watch over Tedd, there is potential for a conflict between father and supervisor but Arthur might just let Tedd work at whatever pace she's comfortable with and I imagine he'd be taking into consideration that Tedd needs to continue regular studies to finish high school.
