That wand made a lot more noise, I wonder if it was enough to carry upstairs?  It still feels like Tedd's dad waking up and coming in should happen at some point.  Maybe not this visit, maybe another night, but before the night of Hell Rains Down seems more appropriate.  Only question is whether he'd come in wand blazing at the very idea of an immortal with his son, or whether he'll pause on the stairs long enough to overhear the conversation, perhaps just as Tedd is explaining that he doesn't want to tell his dad and why.  I can definitely picture Edward hearing that, and quietly backing up the steps again, needing time to digest this new information.  Hopefully not leading up to a tearful deathbed forgiveness for one of them.... :-P

There's definitely some of that in there but I would posit that part of why she is so happy is because of unconditional support. She had that from other people but Pandora is kind of family.

Why do you think mummies spend so much time in their sarcophagi? They're just trying to get some nice rest when dumb adventurers stumble in and start stealing things and messing up the decor.

    That seems like the case.
Yes, he is, however it seems that he has a limitation of "Obvious Accessible Focus", plus the limits "Need to see the spell in use" and probably "needs extra time".

Why doe EGS make me think in Hero System terms when I spend roughly 1% of my gaming time, if that much, playing it?

I want to believe that Elves wouldn't be compatible at all, I don't know how, but I would think if Sirleck was capable of possessing Adrian, he wouldn't risk killing him. He admitted that Adrian might be able to take on one or two vampires, so he's spent most of his fortune to send as many vampires as possible. So much can go wrong with trying to possess the being you're having get attacked, what if the Immortals don't act in time, or the vampires overwhelm them. I don't think Sirleck would risk it.

Sirleck is the real threat - Magus is just a catalyst (he can tell people to do things but he can't actually make much happen other than heightening some emotion a bit).
Also, I'm preeeeetty sure Sirleck wants Adrian's body (elves don't age, so it's not unreasonable for him to assume that a possessed elf body wouldn't either) and it doesn't matter how many people he has to kill in the process to get it.

Not to mention the fact that Sirleck actually has wings.

Well, fish don't snore. But this might require you to go sleep in the swimming pool.

When my cat got older, she started to snore. Very quiet little snores, generally. But there was one time where she was lying asleep next to me and we were both snoring. My wife was in the next room and could clearly hear us. First me, then the cat. Then me again, then the cat. She said it was the most adorable thing she had ever heard and she barely dared to move for fear of waking us up and ending the duet.

And of course I had to try and look up what animals were least likely to snore.  Didn't find anything yet, but I did find suggestions that men are much more likely to snore than women, so ironically enough, a watch that transformed men to women might actually have a chance of curing their snoring.

I'm betting that it would be easier to make watches that shrink the appropriate tissues (or wands in areas without the elevated magic levels), so you'd have to keep an annoying little magic thingamabob handy and use it every night before you fell asleep.  I'm betting that would still be a vast improvement over the CPAP, which is itself a vast improvement over sleep apnea!

I'm not convinced that Magus is the hawk anymore. Magus was the egg, but Sirleck presents a far greater danger than someone just trying to get a physical body back so he could attempt to go back home.
I think the whole thing started out as Pandora being bored and just wanting to play a game with Edward, I don't think she intended on things going this far but her desire to not know the outcome made the game potentially dangerous. This seemed to be confirmed when Jerry stated that Immortals that continued well pasted their reset points became insane as they got older and more bored and risked destroying themselves and taking out a lot of innocent people in the process. Now that we know Voltaire is involved, it's just one big complicated mess.

I don't think she's out of touch at this time though, some may argue that teaching Tedd how to make a wand is more than she needed to do here and that she's forgotten that there are other people that she need's to talk to.
I think she is preparing to reset soon and she wants to make up for the mistakes she's made before hand, and that includes giving Tedd the support he should have gotten years ago. Whether this is too much is debatable, I think it's sweet that she's trying, it wouldn't be the same if it was her next life trying to make amends. Even if Pandora vowed to fix everything with Adrian after she reset, at best her next incarnation will feel like she's doing the work to fix things someone else did.

This is still not necessarily a good thing.  Pandora has shown herself to be out of touch with human sensibilities from time to time.  Her measure for what is "Good" for humans is memory of the opinions of a man who lived several centuries ago for whom she still grieves.

Tedd's smile in panel 8 means the world to me.
Pandora is actively encouraging and supporting Tedd. I know Grace tried to during the tournament, but she was limited by "magic in public = bad." Pandora's unconditional support really seems to help Tedd, and I might be too happy because of it?

Maplestrip made a comment on discord about this being the first time Tedd's been praised for changing sex and it got me wondering if Pandora's trying to build Tedd's confidence to be able to talk to Edward about being genderfluid?
The way Pandora's going about teaching Tedd about his abilities seems so much different than how she taught Adrian, Panel 2 of the last page of the Legacy chapter shows Pandora looking like she's being very strict, very serious about training Adrian to be able to defend himself and such. My guess is she's realized that how she taught Adrian might have influenced how Adrian taught Edward and Noriko and how they turned out. I can see her wanting to make sure that didn't get perpetuated through Tedd.

Is Pandora going somewhere with the spells she's asking Tedd to add to the wand?  Or is just a lesson in stacking spells using spells he's likely to have seen?  I only ask because I envisioned Pandora at the end telling Tedd that he was actually a Disney princess (after the appropriate spells were cast).

There are at least three examples of that in canon: Ellen zapping Vlad into Vladia; Nanase getting her guardian form to save Ellen; Ellen copying Nanase's guardian form and its powers to save Nanase.

My speculation is he thinks its a more portable version of the TFG, or related to it in some way. Magic that isn't magic. Which is kinda what Elliot's magic started as--he was zapped by the TFG. I'm not even sure Edward thinks Tedd has done anything that isn't basically a variation on the TFG; I'd like to think he would be a LOT more interested in what Tedd's doing if he knew.

One thing I can think of that can support Edward not thinking anything odd about the glove and watches would be the magic analysis wand, it looks like an electronic device, even has a pop-out piece that covers where batteries go. Who ever made it was either a Seer like Tedd, or maybe there actually is a way to make magitech devices and Edward assumed that Tedd was able to figure out how to make them as well, maybe Edward just figured that Tedd reverse engineered the Uryuom tech.
Something just occurred to me, and this is at the moment a wild theory, but what if those other glow incidents are related to Tedd's second purpose? Two of those moments were in relation to very strong positive emotions. Voltaire's been trying to traumatize or otherwise entice very strong negative emotions from Tedd to worsen the outcome of his hidden purpose. I should be safe to assume that the strong positive emotions would make for a better outcome. The best analogy that I can think of would be the Light and Dark sides of the Force and Voltaire's trying to get Tedd to go Dark Side.
I'm not entirely sure it would make a difference whether Tedd based the transformation watches on Elliot's morphing or anyone else morphing I think the spell would be the same or at least very similar no matter who had it. The results of the spell wouldn't be so much dependent on the spell itself, but the caster being able to focus on the form well enough to get it right. Elliot has a hard time getting his forms right because he's trying to focus on a lot of detail, plus it's easy to distract him and sabotage the results. Susan did a better job of keeping her clothes fitting well enough probably because she's just better at focusing on what she wants, while Nanase....obviously didn't.
I think you give Tedd too much credit, yeah Tedd should have questioned it more, but remember, he didn't like the idea that his parents might have been wrong about him, so he tried to think up other ways to justify how he could do certain things.
I don't know for certain if the glasses were magically made or just high-tech, everyone thought they let him analyze magic but even he admitted that they only made him look scientific(even Dan states in the commentary that the glasses were an intentional misdirection), so... I think at this point...

That's what I mean by fine tuning, the watches that have specific forms and such would have a lot of details that Tedd would code in by computer and transfer to the glove, and then once those are imbued into the watch would allow the user to just think "Grace 1", rather than having to actually picture what Grace looks like. The dynamic morphs probably only have a few parameters to make sure certain thing do or don't happen, but for the most part rely on the person to properly picture how they want to look.
Also, and this is just a theory, but what if the size limitation that Tedd has isn't necessarily because he's only seen someone cast a spell that shrank or grew someone a specific size. But because he's basing those kinds of watches on the limits of spells that only have size adjustments as a portion of the spell effect? For instance, Tedd watches Elliot transform, he loses 4 inches in height due to the form itself but it's not an actual shrink spell being applied, Tedd sees that a resize happens but it's not quite the same as it would be if Rhoda had used her resize spell. So Tedd has to try to separate the resize from the rest of the spell and fill in any blanks that results. It works but it's limited. If Tedd were to see Rhoda's resize spell in action, he should see exactly what those missing bits should be.
Yeah I don't doubt that General Shade Tail has the same control of his morphing ability as Grace does, and could likely pass as a stranger on the street easily enough, but I don't expect to see him impersonating Edward or Greg or anyone else we know because that would require clone forms of people that may not exist in Lord Tedd universe or not even look the same (Lord Tedd seems to be taller than our Tedd for instance), in order for it to work, they'd have to somehow scan someone from the main universe and that's even assuming Lord Tedd has access to a TFG and scanner. Also, Dan's already stated that if he has anyone impersonating anyone, there'd be clues, we'd have a chance to figure it out ahead of time if someone wasn't who they claimed to be. Then again, considering all the potential stories one could make involving someone impersonating another, we'll probably now expect any impersonator to be General Shade Tail.

Obviously I could be wrong, but I really don't think Edward knows about Tedd being a seer or even having magic except for the ambient magic as power source and some kind of intuitive grasp to ensorcel the watches; I think that he truly believes his son is magic impaired and has decided to accept his son as he "is", and hasn't bothered to research Tedd; perhaps doing what could be seen as the opposite of what Noriko did.  I think that this colors his perceptions as well; he sees Tedd as needing protection, to the point of coddling him.
Of course, as I write this, I see the flaw in this argument about Edward not researching what makes Tedd tick.  A lot of what Tedd does shouldn't make sense to Edward.  I absolutely can't imagine he wouldn't have had the glove analyzed and tested (discovering it doesn't work for anyone else), unless Tedd never told him about the glove, but then Edward would want to know how Tedd makes the watches.  Also, an intuitive grasp of magic?  Shouldn't that be investigation worthy?  But I really feel like he has kept Tedd away from anyone knowing too much about what Tedd does, to prevent Tedd from being poked and prodded Dad's Government Business.
Hmm, so, in conclusion, I have argued myself into a corner.  Bottomline, I don't think Edward knows that Tedd is a seer, and I would bet the Feds don't know much of anything about Tedd at all.  If Edward has researched Tedd, I bet it has been clandestine and off the books.

I did not see that coming.  I thought Tedd would be needing hugs but it looks like Pandora is the one who does.  Tedd reaching out to Pandora doesn't surprise me.  As you said, he is a protector/healer who is at heart a tremendously sensitive soul.  What has surprised me is how much strength Tedd has shown in hearing hard truths about his life.  Really, his parents as well have underestimated him, even Edward who should know him best.  I get it, the desire to protect can blind you, but Tedd, with the help of his friends, especially Elliott and Grace, isn't the bomb waiting to go off that Ellen fears.

Elves likely don't have ever expanding magical and cognative abilities like their parents, which would help curb the boredom that causes instability in Immortals. Also while elves are restricted in what they can do, they are less restricted than their parents. Immortals are limited to (broadly) "empower and guide," while elves are just restricted to when magic and magical things are involved. (Adrian is allowed to directly engage and attempt to kill Abraham, while Pandora has to rely on other individuals to try to kill the wizard that hurt her son.) This gives elves more ways to keep themselves grounded and preoccupied.
