Escape from the Mall started on September 7th, and it directly followed Marker, which began on July 25th. Almost 8 months to follow the events of, what, maybe an hour or two?

I don't think so. That's not an enchanting mistake, it's a plain old physics mistake. Not saying it can't happen, just that I don't think it's what Pandora is referring to.
