Talking about cookies, even magical cookies is barely jinks, much less midjinks. Where are my hijinks?

Nonsense. Billions of women manage just fine without one.

I must still be tired. My immediate reaction to this was a mental image of immortals flocking to your home trying to mark you with an energy draining spell.

If the title of this storyline is Escape From the Mall, I think we all will be very disappointed if we don't have at least one cameo by Snake Plisskin.
Also, I guess Rhoda will never need to look for Large Print editions.

Lisinopril is a blood pressure medication. When you stand up quickly, your body has to adjust the blood flow to your head to accomodate the new position. There's a moment of lower blood pressure to your brain before the adjustment is made. If you're starting with a lower blood pressure, there's not as far to go for the change to wind up dropping it low enough to affect your brain momentarily before the adjustment is made.
And what makes me happy enough to come to this thread is that, after a long dry spell of checking for updates with no joy, There are now three new episodes of Sunstone up!

My cardiologist says my PVCs are under control, thanks to the medicines I'm taking for them (lisinopril and clorazepate). Now, if I could just get someone to explain why I've been getting light-headed so often when I stand up lately ...

Hmmm. Let's see, Catalina and Rhoda are at the mall. What could set off Catalina? Perhaps insensitive remarks about Rhoda by a pair of insensitive jerks who have also been seen in the same mall today?
I wonder if Catalina's newfound power encompasses giant lion-bears. Talk about Code Spooky.

Ouch, poor Tedd. Casual transphobia is always a kick to the gut when it comes from someone close to you. I love that Dan is including a lot of this as background elements - because this is how it happens in real life. It's a constant background noise that never completely goes away. People mean well, and they don't know what they're doing, but it still hurts all the same.
And I think that Mr. Verres is being a bit too optimistic here - if Tensaided is making the jump, I'm sure people with less inside info but more will to dig are going to make that jump, too.

I think what is happening is Mr. Verres is so overprotective he is accidentally hurting Tedd. He knows how much emotional baggage Tedd has as a result of his mom leaving him and being bullied and he doesn't want that to happen to his son. Combine that with the fact that Mr. Verres job consists of telling blatant lies that obvious aliens are in truth humans, and I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks Tedd is just overindulging in one of his kinks and is worried that may do more damage to his psyche. If he realized it wasn't just a kink but a fundamental part of Tedd's identity I think not only would his attitude change but he would have a "My God, what have I done?!" moment.

Some people might even prefer it, but that's probably inconceivable for Edward.
Poor Ted, he saw his father's strong statement as his personal opinion on sex change. It's like an invisible hand coming out of Edward to stab his own son's heart.

Yeah, one thing that's kinda sweet about Tesaided is that he never seems to show a pervy interest in Cheerleadra. He's pure fanboy. I felt similarly about meeting Vincent Ventresca in person -- he was happily married with kids, and I honestly had no desire to do anything sexy, I just thought it was really cool to get to meet the guy who played a character I loved. I probably squeed at least as much, if not more, about meeting the writer of some of my favorite episodes. (Now, if it were Darien Fawkes I were meeting, all bets are off.... ;-)

Mph. I feel that is stretching it, but that is because I know the character and would be hard put to see him as anything but a big friendly dork. Mind, if it had been Rich...
