... remember that good people like Elliot, Ashley and Good Tom are rare.
I did. And for reference, I don't think I'm furry or scaly: for the "transform for one day" it wouldn't be important, but I'm basing my desire to be dragon on dragons who can transform to human (or humanoid) shape. Like the Ryath from Riftwar Saga, Filia from Slayers or Tyrygosa from Sunwell Trilogy and all those examples being females definitely has nothing to do with it shut up you know that dragons have charisma over 30 ...
(I actually once found nice "motivational" image "Number one reason for half-dragons - What? Did you think the Charisma 34 went away when she took human form" ... unfortunately, after "how to train your dragons" I wasn't able to find it again.)
EDIT: Found it:

Not unless one of them can travel between universes. Twilight council in Grrrl power contains vampires. If those would be EGS-style aberrations, they wouldn't be accepted - and they probably wouldn't really WANT to be accepted to it anyway.
Alternatively, it's the owner of the hair salon who can travel between universes. He opens in Grrrl power every Monday and in EGS every Wednesday. DGB of course knows. Arc-Light did found the building is only there for one day in week but they didn't found why yet.

Since it had been in the car for that long, presumably it had already turned into Queen's Greatest Hits?

Ah, the bad old days. The electronic revolution really has been wonderful. About the only thing I miss about the old ways is LP covers.

Not this again. The problem is that a preposition was lost in translation and few words were misspelled.
The title was actually Coming In Fourth by Dey. It was a memoir from Susan Dey on her coming to terms with being the fourth most popular Partridge.
How it was translated into Hieroglyphs and transported to the Old Kingdom is something no one could ever explain to me.

For some reason, this cheers me immensely. Particularly these verses, which I am dedicating to our dear friend Colonel Sanders.
You keep lyin' when you oughta be truthin'
You keep losing when you oughta not bet
You keep samin' when you oughta be a'changin'
What's right is right but you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
You keep playing where you shouldn't be playing
And you keep thinking that you'll never get burnt (HAH)
Well, I've just found me a brand new box of matches (YEAH)
And what he knows you ain't had time to learn
These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you

Ashley wants to transform herself or others, but she knows it would be wrong in most circumstances. She wants to know about magic, but won't ask anyone to betray their friends by revealing secrets. She wants to save Elliot, but can't simply take the weapon she needs from an unguarded arsenal.
I think Dan had already defined her overwhelming characteristic, but this is just one more example.

Gee, you think maybe Pandora gave her a spell to help her find that one person?

They got good enough that my suggestion of an Illithidracolich got turned down as cruel and unusal. (This was a dragon with mind flayer and Lich templates added onto it. In my opinion it would not have been impossible as the game has dracoliches (undead dragons with a load of magical power), illithiliches (undead mind flayers with a load of... well, you guessed it) and illithidragons (dragons subjected to aberrant 'hostile takeover', resulting in a dragon with a buttload of mental powers and face tentacles that swallow brains.)
Or maybe it was just my DM being unreasonable. I still haven't gotten her to accept giving my paladin a half-Axiomatic Dire War Dromedary as a mount. Grumblegrumblemutter.

He could just be less sane to start with, or maybe Pandora's family being there to focus on has helped keep her sane.
It strikes me as especially sad that Elves can't have children. It would be so much easier for Pandora to reset if she saw grandchildren and great-grandchildren spreading across the land. As it is, an Immortal who has a child is kinda stuck -- their mortal lover will inevitably die, and their beloved child will be left completely alone if they reset.
Hmm, we need a match.com for Elves. Get them together so they have someone to love who won't die off on them. Like Duncan and Amanda on Highlander. Heck, even a network of friends would help. Some sort of a private facebook group or message board just for Elves.

I know a reset is likely the only thing that will cure Pandora's madness, but I still find it unsettling for it to be referred to as medical treatment, since resetting for an Immortal is their equivalent of death.

Ah, me. That reminds me of the time I played a paladin in a rather silly campaign way back in First Edition AD&D (which wasn't called that, it was just AD&D). We all kept making various silly jokes, meta and otherwise. My own most successful one caused the DM to throw a pillow at me and was based on the fact that paladins were so snobbish that they would only adventure at most once with people that they weren't sure was of good alignment.
We'd been on three adventures. At the end of each adventure, my paladin had sold his horse and bought a new one. At last the DM gave in to his itch and had the horse trader ask me, "Why do you keep coming back for a trade? Is there something wrong with the horses I'm selling?"
And my paladin replied, "Yes. They aren't Good enough for me." (Due to horses automatically being Neutral in the game.)
Cue pillow to the head.

Of the people I knew who otherwise loved 4E as compared to earlier editions, almost none used the 4E alignment system. 3E's alignment system was much better.
(In 4E-by-the-book it's impossible to be Lawful but not Good, or Chaotic but not Evil. Bugger that.)

In my opinion that only makes him more admirable.

Without question. Everybody in the story are all catspaws of the single most manipulative being in Moperville.

I never had the impression that Les Immortels were forcefully reset. They just did not handle their own "death" well.
As for their alignment? They firmly believe that they are doing the right thing for the right reason by tailing Elliot. Even if they don't know WHY they are tailing Elliot. So they are probably "good". Or at least their players checked that box on the character sheet.
Their place on the Lawful / Order - Disorder / Chaotic spectrum is a little harder to determine. We know that human law does not mean much to immortals. And Immortal "law" appears to be laughably easy to work around. So we might need to determine their attitudes regarding the ancient concepts of Order and Chaos. Or perhaps we should consider their place on the Creative - Destructive spectrum proposed by the Erisian movement.

You're all missing the obvious point: Kirk's original Enterprise wasn't really powered by antimatter. It was powered by sacrificing redshirts. Why do you think it needed a crew of 400 when it was clear nobody was really needed except Scotty, Bones, Nurse Chapel, and the bridge crew?

In a typical wolf pack, the other wolves (except the alpha male) refer to the alpha female as "Mom".

We already have computers capable of doing that and operating at 12V or less internally. There is no reason why a control panel should be connected to plasma conduit.

Again: I don't think that what they said was THAT bad. Sure it wasn't good, but it wasn't bad enough to make them "last resort", especially considering Pandora would WELCOME some chaos.
On the other hand, her predictive powers give her better estimate of what would those two do than we have thanks to knowing them little more - even if she can't read their minds, which she probably can.
I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even think about groping himself and instead went directly to ideas involving other girls, with the "locker room" one being relatively acceptable.
Note that I fail to see what is perverse at viewing or groping yourself. Considering it would be HIS female form (not clone form of someone else), he can do anything he want with it just as he can do whatever he can with his default form.
Just because Elliot "I'll fail at perversion" Dunkel didn't do it on panel in EGS, doesn't mean it's perverse. In fact, I would expect random teenage boy to react closer to certain Valkyrie (possibly NSFW) ...
... and, in fact, considering Ellen's reaction here ... I think it suggests she DID some self-discovery off-panel ...
