Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)
CritterKeeper replied to The Old Hack's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I'll start off by saying how nice it is to *not* see 90% political commercials, now that my state's primary is over. I dread the approach of November, even as I look forward to seeing our first woman president elected. -

Political Discussion Thread (READ FIRST POST)
CritterKeeper replied to The Old Hack's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I'd suggest merging it with this one, with a post afterwards to note where the old thread ended in case anything already there is iffy rules-wise, to explain why it's grandfathered in. Edit: Actually, just took a look, and there's really nothing there that needs to be merged. Probsbly could just post to it redirecting to this thread, and then lock it. -
But the conversation with Pandora indicates that he's not allowed to fight for his country, no matter which country that is. He's lived in several, apparently, and if it was only the laws and/or MIBs of the United States keeping him from fighting, he could just move somewhere else where it is allowed. This ban on elves fighting openly is more than just DGB.

A new Which EGS Character Are You quiz
CritterKeeper replied to Drachefly's topic in General Discussion
I rather like the idea of Pandora being one of the options. Mr. Verres, too, and maybe Greg. Ellen from Elliot would have to be how outgoing and impulsive Ellen is, vs how laid-back Elliot is. Any question about going out of town would nail that distinction. Now, some quizzes, every question and every answer is obviously steering you towards a specific result. I've always likes quizzes where at least some of the options arn't obvious in their intent. Any question which asks about where you want to go on vacation, and has an option for staying home, EGS readers will know picking "stay home" will mark them as Elliot. Can anyone think of a more subtle way to ask that question? -

Well, two people came in and it worked fine. After they left, twice someone new came in but I didn't see them say anything, and they left again after a couple of minutes. One of them entered twice and only one copy left, the other just stayed on the list. Not sure if something wasn't working or if they were just shy. Random Wanderer and WR....S, wanna tell us what happened? If it's working with some browsers and not others, maybe we can fix whatever it is.

We have a chat room! It's on the tabs at the top of the page. This raises the possibility of playing a game in the chat room all at once instead of in the thread over days or weeks. Anyone who's interested in either version, please speak up and say chat, thread, or both. That way we can get a feel for how many players we might have best case, and we can work out details later.

See, I'll eat the crust, or at least some of it, with apple pie. Pumpkin, though, I always only wanted the filling even before it was recommended as a dieting tip. Just had a rather nice Coq au Vin from Trader Joe's, plus more brownie than I should have that the boss's mom baked.

Perhaps charge in, panting, exclaiming that he got there as fast as he could ('cos his sexiness senses were tingling)....and the girls will play innocent and act like they were just playing videogames all along. ;-)

Hooray! Welcome back, everyone! This thread is a bit akin to the Newbie Intro section, except it's for everyone to post when they see the forums are back, to let everyone know you're here and give any news you feel like sharing since the crash. :-) I'm pretty much status quo, except for missing all you guys a lot more than I would have expected. Facebook just isn't the same, is it? ETA: Hmm, I seem to be missing an "r" as well, I'll have to go fix that....and I put this here before the Off-Topic section came back; TOH, if you want to move this thread over there, feel free!

As long as you're not foolish enough to actually *say*, "Yeah, I ripped off a couple of old Outer Limits epidodes...." But that's a different franchise!

Or, it might have been her reaching puberty that triggered the attack. He let them take care of her until she showed signs of being potentially fertile, as many hybrids in the real world are not, and then claimed her. If he found out about the eggs in the course of the raid, that might be why he then held off on raping her until finding out whether that better option panned out. If making eggs is a conscious action, better to keep Grace afraid of him but relatively well-cared-for so she'd be less likely to flatly refuse to make them. After all, if, in the end, he still couldn't get her to do it, hecould always go back to the original plan, in which she'd have no choice.... :-(

The Vampider said he was hungry enough to eat two. My guess would be that Andrea has been keeping him from feeding for a while, leading to him being less cautious and thus her having to be more direct in return. This confrontation might have been the last in a series, each bigger than the last, until this time around one or both of them would have been taken out if Dame Tara hadn't intervened.

Waiting for plumber(s). My sink has this odd habit of suddenly stopping. Water is flowing, and then suddenly it isn't. Move the handle around, turn it on and off, nothing. But, leave it alone for a while, and next time I turn it on, it's working again. My bathtub faucet is also dripping and the cold water handle came off, it's like they're ganging up on me! Ah, well, better to fall apart before the plumber(s) come(s) than after they've already been and gone, right?
