    Seems so.
This would be good opportunity to expand what we already knew, but no.
I'm not sure he would ask if NOT in mute phase. In fact, maybe he asked - and Edward didn't answered. Or said just DGB. I'm sure this happens often so Tedd is used to it.
Meanwhile, Ashley didn't stopped staring at Jeremy and she moved to him quite fast. With predictable result.
Seem she doesn't have much experience with cats.

I think The Old Hack would recommend them to move. That's option you missed.

Fortunately, I really like decompressed stories, so having Ashley first step into the house 50 comics into the party arc is fine by me.

This, for me, is the crux of the matter.  What would we want someone who has done something terrible to do?  Should they dress in sackcloth or a scarlet letter, and never ever be a part of society again?  Should they kill themselves because they can never, ever make up for their error?  Or should they change, stop doing the terrible thing, sincerely apologize to those they have harmed, and resolve to do better, to become a force for good instead of evil?  And if they can make that change in themselves, shouldn't we encourage that, instead of continuing to vilify them just as hard as if they had never changed at all?

I would argue there was ignorance on Diane's part as well, but you're right that the important difference is Elliot never trying to be hurtful or even just negative ; Diane was.
On the other hand, yes, he didn't went out of her way for that. Most likely, it wasn't literally only case where she shown this opinion, but she basically only shared it with Justin when asked.
Well, NOW it doesn't work, but it was nice idea originally: It was a challenge to hit you as they would hit an equal, instead of hitting you as a social inferior.
As someone who read Amber I have it simpler and harder at same time
But yes, we seem to make such sharp distinction between what is "real" and what is "fictional", but the difference is nowhere near as big as we claim. Lot of "fictional" people are more real to us than some people in Africa we share planet with ...
More relevant to the discussion is the fact that Diane will never hear about your opinion of her. At least not in continuity ... it would be easy to write fanfic where Scale, established character with access to our world internet AND device allowing her to visit any comic, would tell her. (I'm not even sure if it would be the stupidest idea for fanfic ever written.)
I would label it naive. She's naive when she thinks she can leave the supernatural world ... now when she was there, she will become part of it.

There is also Launchpad McQuack, who walked from every of his "landings" ...

The landing on Hudson river might be comparable, but that's only one I can think of. Well, maybe also Apollo 13, but that's different kind of problem. Granted, I might remember more given enough time.

They COULD at least lose the wings in landing, that usually don't reduce chance of passengers to leave unharmed, but yes, if it would be Launchpad McQuack the airplane cabin would end in two pieces and yet everyone would be ok.
Usually, if the remains of plane are spread over two kilometers, there are no survivors.

Given that in all occassions I remember his PASSENGERS also walked away from the "landing", I second that.

Being able to play on guitar so it sounds like banjo would definitely need lot of skill. At least classical wood guitar. And church organ? ...
I suspect if your neighbour would play on bagpipes or accordion, you would develop psychosis instead. Or possibly kill him. Or both.

It's not so much Tedd's toys, as his almost obsessive interest in transformation; frankly he is probably the only person we know of in the comic with as strong an interest in it as Ashley. Of course that's not enough to build a romantic relationship on; even leaving Elliot out of the picture I think the extent of the relationship she would form with Tedd and/or Grace is friends possibly with benefits (though it's hard to say until they actually interact in canon).
But yes, even if Ashley were interested in Tedd and/or Grace, she's too nice to break up with Elliot unless it's really obvious it isn't working between them (and so far it is working).
    And so few newbies.
It's really a shame that this forum style is dying out; for people who are not family and/or close friends I've yet to find a method of communication that suits me better than this style of forum. I like to be able to choose my words carefully and be able to go back and change them if I realize I messed up, I like to be able to read everything on a subject in the order it was said,  and I like to be able to easily go back and look at things that were said days, weeks, or even years ago. Also, being able to not use my real name is essential, as without that mask my social anxiety would be crippling.

BTW, note the fire in background: Elliot CAN use illusion to make such effect. Liz presumably can't, unless THAT is the spell she got from Pandora.
Yeah sure. And I would expect he already sparred with Ellen as well.
No, really, her being girl would make little difference. The important think is that as martial artist, he is trained to not use violence on untrained people. Presumably.
He didn't had one in the age where she would be unbearable without using physical violence on her.
In their age, people generally know when to stop (usually because someone already used physical violence on them earlier ; for lot of people in school that someone was Elliot). Even if they don't know each other almost as good as themselves.
I don't think the hints Liz got would point to this possibility. Also, I would expect the "other possibility" will include the party somehow. Him being gay would have no effect on the party.
And more relevant for his relationship with Ashley, he's totally lesbian.

Not talking about it is not healthy, but you can do plenty of not talking without isolating yourself.
THOSE however are not likely to specifically target people with weapon summoning talent. Granted, not being specifically targeted is not much consolation when you end up dead.
    No way.
I mean no way she would be able to save Pandora if she had trained with Nanase. Unless, in addition to learning how to fight, she would get some ranged weapons more effective than stun hammers and fairies.
Regarding the possibility of Susan being bothered by it ... ok that is definitely possible.
The "grandmother" and "dead" parts are probably more important to her now, yes. I was just summarizing.
Note how Grace though about possibly being seen as monster by Rhoda: did Diane though about her being quarter immortal from this angle yet? We don't know. One possibility is that she though about it and rejected it as pointless worry. Another is that it's something she doesn't want to think about either.
    Maybe.
If it was fixture, it would mean she's risking her mother will notice it's missing. In any case, she enchanted the trunk, obtained the sword and put it into the trunk. That's some effort motivated either by logically evaluating she might be target, or by fear.
Not following it with any training is not logical. Understandable, but not logical.
Greg MAY have some experience with weapon fighting we just didn't saw (black belt in three disciplines). Even if not, he can teach them something about fighting in general.
Sure, Adrian Raven would be more qualified, but Greg will still be better than nothing. And as I said, not relative.
Also this, yes. Even if he personally don't know kendo, he is likely to at least know someone who does.
Yes. Also good point with her having "couple" of swords, which may mean even more than two ... which, of course, doesn't change the fact she could've steal some fixture.
To be fair, goo is hard to fight with sword even if you DO know how to fight with one. And, she did tried: it's hard to see but in second panel she is striking the goo with the sword.

    Someday?
You mean you already forgot that Dan is being drawn by Sarah?
I would expect Susan would RESPOND the same as to Nature as well - or at least indirectly point out why she doesn't want to go.
Which might end up with her talking about that at least with Diane. Or with Diane backing out, as she's not exactly ready for that either.

... that's Nurture? I though it's Logic. Everything she says is logical. ... yes, I know, she has round ears.
Not only youthful metabolism. Based on Nanase, with some training you can learn to burn calories on spells. It would be illogical to skip this opportunity.
Also, I think this dance was great.
... so, Susan will be hanging with Diane and if something happens both can arrive

Grace deduced it from her dreams with the emissary of magic, considering she would get "deja-vu" when she glanced at Justin's, Rhoda's, and Dex's backs and chest, that her dreams conditioned her to know there was something special about them in particular, and knowing that Dex had a mark where she was getting that "deja-vu" sense made everything click that Justin and Rhoda must have marks too, and she must have been told that Catalina was marked as well. My guess as to why Grace didn't have any "deja-vu" with seeing Luke either means he wasn't one of the marks we saw, or the emissary only focused on people that Grace knew personally (Justin and Rhoda) indirectly (Catalina through Rhoda and possibly Tedd and Sarah have mentioned her) and someone known and confirmed marked (Dex).
The fact that they couldn't explain how the boar got big other than by Rhoda causing it to happen herself, got them thinking that Grace was on the right track thinking that Rhoda at the very least was marked, and then  Box told Sarah about the emissary of magic when she went to ask for her help in removing the energy clog. Then when Sarah told Tedd and Grace what Box told her, she obviously mentioned the emissary part cus Grace used that point to back up the idea that Box wasn't lying to Sarah, and it pretty much confirmed that Grace's dreams were an attempt to warn her about magic changing and also confirm that Justin, Rhoda and Catalina had in fact been marked.

Hmm. Maybe Diane isn't quite there yet. You might take comfort that unlike every member of the Main Eight:
Diane doesn't have a last name yet. Diane has had no scenes with Tedd or Sarah yet. Diane hasn't had any scene with the Demonic Duck yet. On the other hand, Diane has her name in the title of an archive chapter now. Nanase's only made it into one non-canon NP title, and Justin's name hasn't been in any archive title.

I remember this one movie "40 days and 40 nights" where the main character gives up sex (any forms, including mastubation) for lent after a really bad break up with his girlfriend. During the course of the movie, not only does he fall in love with another girl and have to find other ways to romance her, but the vow gets a lot of attention from his friends and other people who apparent make it their life goal of sabotaging him. At one point, the main character asks one of his friends to tie his hands to the bed to ensure he doesn't give in and masturbate, and then while sleeping, a girl (I can't remember if it was the ex, or if it was someone else that had their eyes on the main character) gets into his room and has sex with him which causes him to freak out when he wakes up to see her on top of him. The big problem with that scene was that was a case of a woman raping a man, but it's not followed up as such, there was no consent from the man, she took advantage of the position he was in, and yet no charges were laid.

hkmaly reacted to ijuin in NP Monday, Apr 15, 2019
It seems also that our society has an attitude that a man can not be raped by a woman because no heterosexual male would ever wish to withhold consent for a sex act with a "non-ugly" woman, or alternatively that no man worthy of respect is wimpy enough to submit to a woman's coercion. Yes, well over eighty percent of rape incidents are perpetrated by males, but that does not mean that we should say that "woman rapes man" is nonexistent.

As we haven't seen the character's face yet, this "Hello Legs" shot may not actually be of any EGS character.
Dan may have hired a model / body double to wear the costume and pose for the establishing legs close-up.
