Someone, still don't know who, has bombed my city of residence. Accounts vary, but it's anywhere from 10 deaths and 60 wounded, to around 30 total casualties. How do I put this? I know exactly where, to with in a foot, plus or minus on July 20, 1969, at 20:18 UTC.   Also know where I was on both January 27, 1973 and  August 8, 1974.  As it happens the second place no longer exists, as in the house has been torn down. 
I only have very faint memories about Friday, November 22, 1963, just in case you think I'm a boomer.
I'm actually sort of an edge case on that, to some I'm a boomer, to others I'm Gen X.

Conservation of detail is just a general policy for writers to follow, it's not a law handed down from on high.  There is Zero reason to think that Susan's father is any one we have "meet" yet.
Don't mind me, really, just the automatic assumption that way too many fans (and not just of the EGS) have that the cast of whatever they are fans of can't ever increase with out major changes happening to the whole universe of the item in question drives me up the freaking wall.

Well, Mrs. Prof arrived shortly before 10 p.m. — I guess the vendor schmoozing went let out early, or whatever she was doing. I don't ask anymore.
The nighttime meds knocked me out, but I was awakened by a very affectionate house cat who is probably trying to wake up Mrs. Prof for the same affection now. I just wish he wouldn't get the urge to try and eat my laptop's cables now and then.
One of my anti-allergy OTC supplements (Quercetin + Bromelain) is supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, 20 minutes before eating, which rarely happens here since I usually take all my pills at once. I'm trying the 20 minute trick this morning. I just realized that I'm supposed to be taking it 2 to 3 times a day, and that people with pineapple allergies aren't supposed to take it (WTF? Glad that's not me.). Guess that's what I get for forgetting what's printed on the label. Better order some more.

By now I am convinced that the whole Diane/Susan being twins setup is a huge Dan troll that he has spent more than a decade setting up because he wanted to annoy fans who like to grow epileptic trees. I move that we create a new trope based on this: Troll of God.

Then they told us that they would need to acquire some of the needed materials through purchase, so they would need a substantial amount of gold and silver in advance.  They took the cash, and we never saw them again.
To explain the loss of money, we spread the story that construction had begun, but was wiped out by a devastating storm.  The people did not believe it.  But the stories they concocted to explain how the treasury was depleted overnight were even more unbelievable than spacefaring con artists.
