Audio has only plateaued in the areas of encoding, decoding, and playback of simple audio, one big thing we can't do yet without noticeable performance degradation—or heck, even doing it in the first place—is the generation of proper, real time audio effects, like echos, muffled sound, true 3d positional audio, or just how audio spreads past obstacles of different materials.
As a comparison, realistic echos require complex calculations that are at least as complicated global illumination, which has been something of a pipe dream in graphics programming for ages.
No need for the pregnancy, Tedd thinks that (s)he can make transformation wands that changes someone base form, and presumably it would work with any transformation. Just load up that "me when I was 18" form into a perma-wand and BAM! I'm definitely asking about this next Q&A.

Dan's been reading the Dresden Files lately. I'm not sure if that quote applies; maybe something from a different book would have been better and more applicable.

OK, we need to make a raid on TVTropes1 and remove all "Big Bad" references for Pandora.  Every thing we thought was her, other than the random markings, was Kentucky Fried Immortal.  All she was doing was making the world a better place for her son.  And once pointed out the error of her ways she changed.  Plus she likes Tedd, Elliot and Sarah, that we know of.  I actually suspect she likes all of the main 8 due to their relationship with Tedd.  And she hasn't said any thing about not liking Edward, just not to tell him some things.

Um. How do you figure? I visualised Moperville as being a funnel for magic flowing in from everywhere else -- like an indentation in the terrain, as it were -- and the clog as being a blockage that kept magic from dropping out through the bottom of the funnel. When was a specific source of magic mentioned?

Well, you could stick a person with a telekinesis spell in the magic dam, have them lift water, and have the water falling back down drive a traditional turbine.  It is _possible_. The next question is how many steps you can simplify or remove.

Well, this is an area where my "building muscles" analogy may break down.  Pandora said that using the spell without enough break between castings wouldn't do much, not anything, so it might be that even when the environmental magic does 98% of the work, Sarah stll gets a 2% workout.  (Or 99.9% vs 0.1%, whatever you think is appropriate.)  So, normally she would want to cast the spell well-spaced to exercise her full capacity.  But, if Sarah were to cast the spell a hundred times, or a thousand, all those small percentages could add up to expanding her capacity.
Hmm, perhaps there is a muscle analogy -- physical therapy often uses "passive range of motion" exercises to keep temporarily paralyzed or weakened muscles from deteriorating from disuse.  Atrophy sets in if muscles aren't used.  Perhaps Sarah's magic is like a limb that she can't use normally, but PROM exercises would stimulate her "magic muscles" just enough to help them start working more easily and effectively on their own.  Not a perfect analogy, but it kinda works.  :-)
Either way, I suspect Pandora will promise Sarah she'll help her Awaken if at all possible once the job is done.  Whether that involves power sources like the gauntlet or amulet, or helping her find pockets of magic to exploit ("puddles" left behind, if you will), or somehow directly boosting her power, I don't know.  Pandora may need to provide such a boost in order to get the job done in the first place, depending on whether some small ignition spark of Sarah's innate magic is needed to start casting the spell even with the huge environmental reservoir to do the real work.
I'm betting half my quatloos that Sarah ends up with magic in the end, one way or another. :-D

Are you saying that Pandora is a BOFH?  I can live with that.  I've been called that more than a few times.

Is she going to be mounted in a special device and given a backwards spin?

I dunno. Possibly if it is one of the new Airbus 340 models. Probably not if it is a Boeing or an older generation Airbus. If it is a McDonnell Douglas, it's a bit of a tossup. But I'd say yes if it is an MD-11.

Like, say, the Hammer Queen? ;-)

I loved Pandora's, "See, this is the world we live in..." line.

I mean, Sarah is useful, clever, shows proper respect for Pandora while still being able to snark and backtalk, understands her without repetition or explaining, and happens to be heavily involved with of some of the mortals that Pandora's most interested in.  Of course she gets along well with her.

You know, if the clog itself is and enchant being maintained by the energy pushing against it, using up all the surrounding energy could allow the enchant to dispel and the clog to be removed on it's own. Your theory could have some merit there.

Yes. The rules for marking being less strict, meaning "the marker was able to just give whatever spell", seems like most likely reason to me. Or maybe it wasn't even marker as immortal - maybe the reason they had magic was that there was some place and everyone who spend night on it got this kind of magic.
(Might still be Pandora who set that place up, but maybe it was just for fun and she didn't know there will be whole horde getting magic from it.)

We don't know ANY details. They might still be able to use magic - middle of battle is not good place for experimenting.
Also, I suspect they weren't really awakened (if the awakening as process actually existed back then). They might've been dreaming.
And finally, I said it as possibility. Not like the list of people able to use magic MUST be kept, but that the difference between non-awakened and awakened people being kept is more likely than giving magic to random people or everybody except Tedd losing magic completely.
(And I actually suspect people just marked are in big danger of losing magic.)

I just made my account and had already finished every single comic there was 2 weeks ago in 4 days.
 All i can say is Edward just looks really annoyed and not at all surprised in the last panel. He's like, "Really dude, why did you have to interrupt me."

To be honest the best way to deal with secret identities is to just troll everyone by having 3+ superhero identities, and 6+ 'mild mannered identities that happen to travel a lot explaining why they never seem to be in the same place'.
 
It keeps the conspiracy theorists on their toes, and allows you to have fun.
 
Intentionally cause sightings of the full 'team' of Cheerleadras (The Cheerleadra Squad!) via TF Gun stuff (maybe incorporate his friends powers and looks into the other identities: Pixie, the tiny fairy Squaddie. Brute, the Obviously Just Greg Squaddie. Dire Beast, the Wolverine style Squaddie . And last but not least, Doctor Gendra, mad scientist Squaddie. Elliot is the leader Cheerleadra.
His friends can opt into helping him maintain these, to obfusticate his own identity.

You know, if Susan does know about the previous night, but Elliot forgot to mention that Tensaided was the one who tipped him off about the griffon, this plays out the same as her not knowing at all. And if Elliot didn't tell her directly, everyone else may just know what Ashley said on the phone, so they might not know that Tensaided was involved at all. So considering Susan is attracted to Elliot, doesn't know Tensaided has any idea about Cheerleadra, and knows he thought they were dating before Elliot and Sarah broke up, it still sounds like he's suggesting nookie breaks from work.
Which would be an interesting thing to see in a benefits package.

Ohh buoy.  When Pandora said she needed help, I thought she would go to Adrian, Edward, Tedd, Magus, or maybe even Mama Kitsune.
I never thought Sarah would be her tool for this plan.
And the important question.  When Sarah quoted "These Boots", was she referencing Nancy Sinatra, or one of the later remakes?  Puss in Boots from Shrek might be ok, but please don't tell me she was thinking of the Simpson's version from the haphazard dukes.

Why does "Do you want to save all magic?" sound a lot like "Hey, would you mind to kill an aberration for us?"?
