    That jerk!
Was he really trying to kill Elliot all those times just to get to Tedd?
Also, it seems a "Seer" is another name for what Tedd is.

And this is why MAGIC IS A BUTT-FACE!!
As much as Tedd wants to be the champion of (as of the moment) non-magic masses, he cannot control the due course of Magic whenever and wherever he goes. That does not mean he cannot be a catalyst, though.

    Knowing Dan, that is why.
This must be a little like how it feels to think you have just invited a mildly talented novice to your magic school and gotten Harry Dresden instead.

I do not normally comment in person but once again I feel compelled to make an exception.
Whatever other issues of policy may be at hand, I am greatly concerned by the president-elect's apparent intention to disengage from old alliances across the world. NATO in particular has been of obvious importance to my homeland. Denmark is a small nation with little in the way of military power and is situated in a position of immense strategic importance to Russia. NATO has helped ensure a long peace in Europe, one which has lasted most of my lifetime with few interruptions. On such occasions where other nations have attacked the US, my homeland has every time reciprocated by placing forces, planes and naval vessels at the disposal of the US. Also, it is worth noting that the esteemed JML of this forum has served the US in Europe for a number of years and thus aided in extending this peace, for which I owe him my thanks and gratitude.
No alliance lasts forever, of course. But I must confess to feeling strong pangs at the thought of NATO coming apart, not to mention considerable worry at the thought of what Putin and similar strongmen might do to take advantage of it. That other similar detentes around the globe are also in danger does nothing to reassure me, I fear.

My shrink tells me that talking to yourself, to include answering yourself, isn't a bad thing, as long as you know you are doing that.  It's when you talk to yourself and you think you are talking to someone else that life gets, as he puts, "somewhere between not real good and very very bad".

This is still going to bother me anyways...
While computers may or may not be usable in the simulation, I don't think Sarah's knowledge of how they work has anything to do with it.  If she just interacts with things physically (e.g., by pushing keys on the keyboard or the computer's power button or moving the mouse or opening a laptop's lid), then everything's based on actual reality and Sarah's knowledge and expectations are irrelevant.  If she uses her modify-the-simulation abilities, then the computer will probably just show what she expects (i.e., inaccurate simulation), just like Grace did, again with knowledge of the inner working irrelevant, but she has to choose to use those abilities; this won't just happen if she tries to push buttons on a sufficiently complicated machine.
She can almost certainly use her modify-the-simulation abilities to interact with the computer in a way that just shows what she expects (like she did with Grace).  A more interesting question is whether she can interact with a computer without using those abilities, i.e., what will happen if she pressed buttons and such.  My guess is that that wouldn't do anything (similar to talking to a frozen person), because while she can move the keys on the keyboard, the rest of the computer and the electricity powering the computer is frozen; pressing the key could would complete a circuit that no electricity is flowing through; and there's no clear way to physically interact with the computer to get electricity flowing.  If any electric or electronic devices work in the simulation, then, there's probably some special case in the spell (which is definitely possible); but also if pressing buttons on the computer actually does do things, then it will be accurate because she didn't use the ability that makes the spell inaccurate.
There's a possibility that someone skilled enough with the spell could use the modify-the-simulation ability without decreasing its accuracy, and it's possible that knowing how the thing you're trying to interact with could help with that, but this hasn't been established, and it's not what's happening when she uses simple items like doors (opening doors is physical interaction, which doesn't decrease the accuracy of the spell).
    Or, in less words:
Sarah talks to a frozen person ⇒ they don't respond (but doesn't decrease simulation accuracy)
Sarah modifies the simulation to animate the person ⇒ they come to life but do what Sarah expects
Sarah pressed buttons on ("talks" to) a frozen computer ⇒ unknown (but doesn't decrease simulation accuracy); probably either nothing or accurate simulation
Sarah modifies the simulation to animate the computer ⇒ it comes to life but does what Sarah expects

Please do not make statements that absolutist. It is rude.
I also disagree with you. My own medical and biological knowledge is not all that great, and I can nonetheless make myself move properly. I do not see how I require a medical degree to imagine someone else moving.

    Here's a thought I just had.
Can Sarah 'save' iterations of her internal "holodeck" or customize them to the extreme.
The obvious connotations of why someone would do that are lewd, so i'm going to leave that your imaginations and skip to the one I thought of next. Imagine that Sarah develops some kind mind-palace/important object storage place. Being able to save iterations, she slowly constructs this area out of pieces of other simulations she goes into, taking walls, floors, furniture and the like to create an ideal environment in which she can think clearly should she need to. Within this environment, she also stores image replicas of anything important the main cast comes across. Say for example they came across a macguffin that was split into multiple parts, but they couldn't take the piece they had with them for safety reasons, so Sarah makes a copy of it, so when they find the other piece, she can take a copy of that piece into her 'customised mindspace' and put them together manually to see if they connect.
Sorry, went a bit far with that. But seriously, Sarah being able to 'save' simulation instances would be an interesting concept.

You don't consider spending the entire comic with SarahTedd lying on the floor with Grace crouched over her, to be OT3 fuel??

The kids who have sex in high school get much more attention, but there definitely are people who graduate from high school, or even college, still virgins.  For some it's religion, for some it's upbringing, for some it's a strong desire not to get pregnant, or even feeling that it's more than a casual thing to do and not wanting to make that big a commitment when they'll be going off to college (or out into the real world) soon.  And of course, there are varying levels of sex drive, and thus varying degrees of pressure to take that step.  For every statistic you hear abiut how X% of teenagers are having sex, there are (100-X)% who are not having sex.
Granted, a few of the reasons, like pregnancy, wouldn't apply to lesbians, but all of the issues related to emotions and maturity and commitment would still apply here.
(I still have a pet theory that Tedd and Grace have not gone nearly as far physically as most people assume.  Ellen and Nanase, on the other hand, have crossed that line, and enough others to make a proper zebra crosswalk....)

Because English has borrowed names from other languages to the point where their actual meanings are obscured (e.g. most "Christian" names derive from Hebrew, Greek, or Latin), we are slightly baffled when faced with a name whose meaning is right-in-one's-face. We are perfectly comfortable with the name "Theodore" (one of the more common names which would abbreviate to "Tedd"), yet we devote little thought to the fact that it means "Gift from God".

This does not have much to do with electronics, but this reminds me of an internet argument I was especially saddened by. It irritates me when people cherry pick from the Bible to justify their positions -- I may be a sorry excuse for a lapsed Christian, but I still respect many of the messages the Good Book has for us. I tried to get through to this person that I simply didn't find her attitude reconcilable with what Christ had said, and she replied, "The Bible is not for people like you."
I didn't even get mad. It just saddened me so very much. I still cannot comprehend that attitude.
And I hope I never will.
