Magus needs to have Ellen zap Elliot while Magus is between the two, presumably the beam would push Magus into Elliot's body. Magus would then need to touch the diamond to get split from Elliot. Magus was responsible for Ellen's creation because he made Tedd zap Elliot, I think the reason why he did that was because the TFG is Uryuom technology using a different energy type, Ellen's beam mimics the TFG beam but uses Earth based magic energy so it would be compatible with what Magus needs.

    More Speculation.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but... a couple times the idea of Elliot distancing himself from being identified as Cheerledra has come up, ad more often than not, the idea of Elliot turning into Cheerledra while someone poses as Elliot gets thrown around, usual focusing on Grace or Tedd mimicking him, yet i don't understand why they haven't gone with the obvious candidate: Ellen. She has an ability that would let her copy Cheerledra rather than Elliot eliminating the inherent problem of someone seeing through the 'Elliot disguise' because there won't be one, Elliot will be the real deal, meanwhile she knows Elliot more than well enough to pull off acting exactly like how Cheerledra would. Even better, if her power includes copying secondary abilities, she can "accidently" get caught changing into Heidi after being seen with Elliot which would deflect attention further by making people focus on someone that technically doesn't exist and only a handful of people (Noah, Melissa, Justin, & Carol) have ever met, only one of which knows Heidi is actually Elliot. (Melissa, and presumably Noah know Heidi is an alias & disguise, but as far as I'm aware I don't think they know who's under the disguise.)

Sirleck is back. Yay? (Not yay.) And he seems to have a spy working for him, but it can't be the white immortal. Sirleck and Magus need Elliot alive and Whitey wants him dead. So who is the spy? I hope it's not Charlotte, Ashley or Diane! Luckily I don't see how that would even be possible, unless Dan wants to really shock us. So... Let's do a count of all the parties involved in this Complicated Mess: 1) Pandora, who is most likely the one who clogged the magic drain and apparently needs Elliot for something 2) Helena and Demetrius, who clearly have sworn to protect Elliot for some reason 3) Whitey and his friends who want Elliot dead for some reason, possibly to stop Pandora 4) Sirleck, Magus and their spy. Magus needs Elliot alive to gain a physical form, Sirleck wants Magus to get what he wants so he can presumably double-cross him and possess his new body. They are probably the ones paying vampires to go to Moperville to distract Helena and Demetrius 5) Jerry. Although we haven't seen him tonight and he has nothing to do with Elliot, I have a feeling that he would make the most dependable ally against everyone who's out to hurt the Main Eight. I think he could even work with Helena and Demetrius after giving them a piece of his mind and learning more about them and their motives. (The problem with that is, of course, the fact that H&D don't remember all their motives themselves.) Did I forget anyone?

Generally speaking, tip your lizard at least 15% for good service. If the service is not so good, but you can see it is for reasons beyond your lizard's control, don't punish your lizard.

While it was somewhat clever, how would you feel if you created a harmless joke and someone sold it as defense against serial killers to barely prepared, impressionable youths. Even if it worked, I'd find it yet another horrifyingly wrong thing about the situation on top of everything else. Sure, I'd be a bit impressed it worked as well as it did, but seriously, no just no. I mean, harken back to Greg's reasons for closing his dojo (besides the lack of paying customers).

Also, just because the Colonel is aware that Pandora has been manipulating Elliot, doesn't mean that this fact has anything to do with why he planned to get Elliot killed. Personally I think that their use of the hammers thing for the aberration hunt was pretty clever and quite justified. It's their shoving the jobs onto a couple of barely-teenage kids (or at least leaving the kids thinking it was up to them) that's a problem. They could have done everything they did with Nanase and Susan, and said "But all this is so you can defend yourself in case the monster gets to you again first, before the proper authorities - whom we're about to go notify - get to the monster. They are better equipped, better trained, more experienced in magic, and PAID, to handle things like this. If possible, stay out of it." I would have had no problem with that.

Given the circumstances, if Edward were to find out about Tedd's Mark, it might help him to understand the gravity of the situation. It is well-known to Edward that such Marks reflect the Marked person in some way--either an innate talent or a strong desire that the person holds. Knowing that Tedd was marked with a gender-altering spell that resets Tedd's unenchanted base form rather than itself being an enchantment would do a lot to convince Edward that yes, the issue does reach down to the core of Tedd's self-image.

I'm going to go with neither of them are really at fault here, both of them lacked the information needed to make the best course of action clear and did what they thought was best at the time. I think Tedd was under more pressure, and had less of a chance of properly understanding the situation. You can't really expect a kid going through puberty with longstanding bullying and self esteem issues, and feelings he has no context to understand to react logically to the situation can you?

I find harsh judgments on myself or others to be an impediment to fixing the less-than-perfect attitudes I've picked up. We all do the best we can today. We make amends for yesterdays when we were less than today as long as those amends makes the situation better. My own judgments against myself have added much unneeded misery to my life.
