Would it not be odd if everyone in the EGS-verse had an evil twin/twin of opposite personality?
(Do we also know what the citizens of Moperville are called?)

That seriously depends on one's relatives.

Maybe Ellen can use her copy spell on Cheerleadra. But...it might have the same limit as Nanase's guardian spell. It was very hard for Ellen to copy that, and to be a convincing Cheerleadra, Ellen has to copy not only the form but the powers.
If Ellen can do it, though, she can solve the "Elliot Dunkel" problem...for awhile. Of course, then people might notice later that Ellen kinda looks like Cheerleadra...

If he was Edward, then likely whatever spell he is doing in his sleep is disguising him as a sagely figure to get the point across with the mission to get Grace off her bum to solve the mystery like the meddling teen she is friends with.
Or Edward thinks of himself as an old man who has seen some tough sugar honey iced tea in his career.

1) Raises the question is the "correct" version, however modern usage of "begs the question" is way to common to stamp out. Sort of like "y'all" in the southern US states, Texas, and Oklahoma.
2) Well, there is the technical problems of she doesn't exist on government paper, so getting the seed money to start would be tricky, and really hard if she won even a modest amount. The IRS wants their chunk, and the have agents more or less at the payout windows in Vegas. Not having a SSN or Tax ID Number would Raise Flags and Questions. I'm not saying this would stop her, just add more roadblocks than she might feel are worthwhile. Plus it's human money, what the hell does she need that for?

Literally impossible.
Even for magic.
Sending specific information to a point in the past is a type of time travel. So too is detecting information before it actually exists,
If Time Travel really is the one thing that Magic can not do in the EGS universe, then all forms of fortune telling, sooth saying, divination, augury, weather forecasting, and political polling would be guesswork at best and outright hoaxes at worst.
I'm glad we don't need to rely on guesswork and hoaxes for information in our world.

This is a little sad. Rich wants to be rich, but Larry wants to not be Larry.

Given the age range of the people she's asking, it's not surprising that they have sex on the brain, at least subconsciously.

To be fair, it's a tiny detail in a paragraph that's TL;DR'd a second later, from a page written seven years ago. Not unsurprising that it'd be missed or forgotten.
I know that the beam was most likely amped up by emotion and there's reasons to suggest that was in fact the case. Still, it's always fun to speculate. To the speculation thread! *spinning 910cmx logo transition*

RainbowWizard reacted to animalia in Who else thinks Magic is a d*ck?
However since Magic has a will it could simply choose that evil people can't use magic. See Atop The Fourth Wall for an example of that. There if someone with magic lets it go to their head and becomes evil they lose the power to do magic. As a result I don;t buy that excuse.

They will graduate. Eventually. This is Moperville, not Riverdale.

The Clog won't be defeated easily. The Shive is strong within it. It's such a useful plot device we can hardly imagine EGS going on without it. All those Tedd watches would stop working. Plus, dealing with the clog gives a wonderful excuse for The Circle of Eight to hang in Moperville after they graduate from high school, presuming they ever graduate.

I make the key phrase in all this exposition is "for humans." This could clue Pandora that "magic" isn't some all-powerful entity because by implication Immortals don't have any limitation on their magic except what they have agreed on among themselves. It isn't a long jump from there to the conclusion that the "magic" the Emissary thinks he's speaking for is really a coalition of Immortals or even just one Immortal--Voltaire comes to mind. And if half-Immortals fall in the human category for this purpose, Pandora is going to war.
Still no clue why Grace would be the chosen prophet. Except maybe that part-uryuoms' magic is of a different nature and while as a part-human, Grace would have to make ridiculous efforts to gain human-type spells, as was explained somewhat long-windedly in the last Q&A. Unless, of course, "magic itself" changes the way magic works for humans, or at least for Grace. Or something.

Good time to get this back in the forums:
I thought I lost this when the server crashed because it was in the 910cmx gallery, turned out it was just saved in a different folder on my PC.

Dang, adult body Pandora's got legs for days!
Uh, I mean...
Huh. Interesting bit of commentary below this. paraphrased: 'All they can do is empower and guide... But that's incorrect, to some extent'
THIS SEEMS IMPORTANT EEP

Maybe Dan play Traveller and thinks of things in terms of Jump time.
In my games, all space faring races have a unit of time that works out to 168 hours. Normally called what ever the local term for "jump" is. Other than the Terran Commonwealth. They say "a week".

I'm sure someone would say something legalistic in Dan's direction if he started talking about 525,600 minutes.

Interesting that Pandora slept for roughly the same length that Greg spent watching Anime after getting dumped by his previous girlfriend.

And now, I shall merrily continue to sing "This Is Halloween".
Although, I would like to have a store that sells Halloween stuff in January

Gotta admit, this is a sequence that could use animating. An amorphous cloud sculpting itself into a woman, clothes forming out of the mass, fishnets forming like spiderwebs without spiders, all the while she's bored and monologuing to herself.

Surely... It involved... A very old... OLD... skill that he posesses.
Yes, I propose, that the Old Hack, master of hackery, did the deed through that very specific skill which he does posess.
What skill is that, that the man known for the word hack could have used to hack his way into getting such dangerous information?
Why, he merely asked politely.

Scratch it - even DW has some funny business (it seems to be). So everyone has their own ulterior motive/s, but at what cost?
Heck, what is it even good for? Absolutely nothing!

Look, I already made this known a long time ago. I am actually a spambot, I'm just so well programmed that I tricked the admins here into making me a mod.
