Maybe the big guy is "Set". Set was associated with snakes, among other creatures. However, for knowledge, the go-to god was Thoth, usually depicted with the head of an ibis. Set was basically the god of kicking butt. Several pharaohs took Set names, including the father of Ramses the Great.
The snakes ought to be cobras, though. Pharaohs had cobras on their crowns.

Just have everyone that can "do" Cheerleaders appear all together, and say it's the standard "uniform" for anyone super powered who doesn't have their own unique super identity yet. The very short skirt is to encourage new supers to get their own costumes as soon as they can.

Well, there was, but it sorta just died after an almost-13-year run.

The "sighting" rumor could have been started by something as simple as a Tweet. It's more Edward's style. Hey, pretty much the same methods have kept Elvis alive for four decades now.

Who has? Considering the manga ran for just under 26 years, most people were not going to just pick it up.
Though there are better references for Norse mythology.

Did Elliot and Sarah spend this much time talking to each other while they were dating?

Well, Elliot is supposed to be going to a high school with several thousand students. And it's quite common for teachers to address students by their given names rather than surnames. And I get the impression Elliot isn't one of those students who speaks up a lot in class or is called on very much.
Now if you're a pain-in the ass like myself, correcting everyone including the teacher, everyone knows your name.

I love Elliot for just caring so much about other people that he will analyse even his own hypothetical planned actions and reject them if he realises that they could have unintended consequences. This feels a little like the inverse of taking something about others and making it about yourself; he has taken a purely hypothetical (if at least conceivable) scenario he might personally experience and included its effects on others as well.
It is why I love EGS so much. The characters. They all bring something important to the table and often do it in very individual ways. And I really, truly appreciate that.

If you are a member of the main 8 or primary secondary cast and you go to the mall, something will happen.  Attempted mugging, revealing Grace's powers, the start of meddling teenagers, griffins, etc.

I think it's time to face facts--910CMX is now the official EGS forum.
Really, the only reason this site is still going is because of Shive; check the post counts on each board here and see for yourselves. If members weren't constantly coming back to chatter and speculate on EGS, this place would've closed years ago (heck, this place was already a ghost town before the reboot). I think it's time to move on.

Everyone's saying that a system change would make everyone lose the ability to use magic for a while until someone basically stumbles upon it again and learns the first spell of the new system. It's been heavily implied that Tedd would be the key to figuring out the new system faster should it change because his "dangerous rarity" apparently makes him immune to the system change and his magic insight would let him see the changes. I actually wonder how that would be possible, if everyone lost the ability to use magic for a while, for Tedd to see a spell being cast to decypher the new system.
I'd like to propose the theory that Tedd is a natural wizard, and has been learning spells as he sees them like other wizards do, but even though the whale said he couldn't have spells of his own. that could just be that Tedd couldn't have spells under the current system.
Basically what Tedd's been doing without realizing it, has been preparing himself for a system change, so that once it happens, it'll unlock those spells and instead of waiting for the first magic user to come along to look at their spells in action, Tedd will be the first magic user with an arsenal of spells ready to go.
I'm not saying that Tedd would have been preprogramed with the new magic system years ahead of time, but that the nature of his abilities would automatically adjust Tedd's power to whatever the new system is should it happen. That's would be a proper failsafe for keeping magic from dying out because it guarantees at least 1 person with access to magic right off the bat.

    Fifteen Years
About one fourth of all humans on this planet have been born since Elliot first informed us that Tedd's a guy.

There is also a reference to "Nash seats" in an episode of the 70's sitcom Happy Days in which Richie is trying to buy a car—with his father's help. I don't think the car that had Nash seats passed muster.
Found the reference to it here - look for episode #2, "The Lemon." They apparently did buy the car anyway, but not with the results they wanted.

The One True Tetradecagon or 14 sided polygon. It's actually a web. The not quite current version looks like this:

For the record I can find a canon source for where those links come from.  Granted some are less, shall we say, solid than others.

No it's not. France is a big blue cheese.

Since she is dealing with what for her would be the effective destruction of years of work and the loss of so many things that have helped her turn her life around, any nonzero chance of it happening is a cause of significant worry. Even if it is only a one percent chance, the consequences will remain ruinous. And the chances of magic change happening are currently significantly larger than nonzero.

Maybe we need to expand the canon/non-canon system. Tedd Forgot Something can almost fit into canon except for the tail at the end of the tail, and even that isn't that big a departure, given that no one noticed Catalina had a tail except for Rhoda before they both turned into half-scale catgirls. I have some suggestions for the new terminology:
Demi-canon:  Could be canon, but not established yet. NPs about Grace's gaming might be referred to in canon someday. Semi-canon: Magical Comics Store and maybe now Tedd Forgot Something. Some parts may have been retconned out, such as Tedd's tail and Nanase taking five bucks from Duck to use her magic to look like she's wearing a bikini. Also Susan baring her midriff in early comics. Trebuchet:  Unlikely to become canon, but neat, and gives me an excuse to show off that I know how to spell "trebuchet" and what one is, namely a large catapult which was replaced by cannons but still essential for throwing cows at Monty Python. And there's a "Trebuchet" font out there somewhere.

The thing that stands out for me is way back at the end of the first Sister arc, just before Ellen zaps Tedd, Edward comments that it was disturbing seeing one's son as a girl. which I'll agree does sound transphobic. But shortly after we see Edward thinking to himself that maybe he should have picked a gender neutral name when Tedd was born, that doesn't sound transphobic to me, more like feeling it would be easier if the name wasn't awkward to say when referring to a daughter or a son. I just can't imagine someone who's transphobic thinking that.
