Oh, "Serious Business"! How silly of me! I mistook it for an initialism--S.R.S. B.S.N.S., and wondered what it was an abbreviation for.

So, the US department of Justice has announced that they're suing North Carolina over the whole anti-trans bathroom law. That's not what makes me mad. Reading some of the reactions makes me mad, like how many feel that doing this will allow perverts and pedophiles to be able to sneak into women's bathrooms to spy and rape. someone even commented saying "they're making the .04% trans comfortable by putting the 50% female population at risk." WTF? As far as I'm concerned trans people go to the bathroom for the same reason most of us do, to have a piss or crap, not to peek under bathroom stalls, it's more like the law NC put out would "criminalize the .04% trans so that they could keep out the .00000005% sex offenders" (all percentages based on the tweet I saw and I highly doubt they are accurate anyway). If people are worried about sex offenders posing as members of the opposite sex to sneak into public bathrooms, then the laws for sexual offenses needed to be beefed up more. Also a lot of the reactions focus on those that are born male but identify as female using female bathrooms, I hadn't seen any mention of those born female identifying as male and I wonder if it because those same people that are complaining about this would be like "well that that's their risk if they want go into a bathroom with real men and it's their fault if anything happens". It does seem like the majority of those complaining about this are males while a lot that are defending this action and debating against the complaints are female. But still it was really aggravating to see the stupidity in all that.

You're assuming that everyone who is trans can pass 100% above suspicion as being the gender they identify as.  That's about as big an assumption as the people who assume all women have hourglass figures.  The people these laws are aimed at are the trans women with Adam's apples, who are tall and muscular and have big hands, whose voices are deep or sound like a falsetto no matter how much they work to modulate them, and so on.
Not everyone who's trans can afford several dozen surgeries and thousands of dollars every month in hormones and other medications. Some who can afford them are afraid to have them, or don't feel like they should have to have them just to make a few other people better able to pretend people like them don't exist.  And some are so masculine in body structure that nothing will ever allow them to pass.
Of course, there are also plenty of cis-women who have a masculine build, or have PCOS-given facial hair, or otherwise will wind up accused of being men trying to use the women's room by these jerks.  If all else fails, maybe a few lawsuits from them will help damp down this nonsense?

For a less serious scene, Elliot could find out that he can still reach his "Male Human" form, but it now fits into his "decoy identity" spell instead of being his default form...

You guys do realize something is going to go down in the next page, right? I mean, an entire page focusing on the Cheerleadra landing and getting ready to transform into Elliot? I have a feeling we're going to find out what his spell does earlier than expected :3

You know I did not think it possible to like him less than I already had yet somehow I do now.
BTW, having dealt with a good deal of chicken ordure lately, it's slightly more pleasant than him.

    eg
Race started to matter politically once it became clear that political authority was needed in order to force social stratification (i.e. keeping the less-favored groups out of the professional and ruling classes). White farmers don't campaign against black folks when 90% of blacks exist only in subservient roles--they do it when the black folks actually start to compete with them for jobs, housing, schools, and influence. Nobody bothers to spend effort on preventing earthworms from flying, after all.

Yeah, she might be upset, at least until she learns more about Susan's past and all the trauma therein.
Susan got to grow up in wealth, while Diane got to grow up with a more complete and loving family.

The "bathroom ordinance" failed due to lack of support by the rest of the Rockwall, TX city council. Only the Mayor voted for it, and he's apparently the only one who had a problem.

I fail to see why refugees would just come to Australia if they're in New Zealand. They seem to think that the refugees would be determined to get New Zealand citizenship to settle in Australia.

According to the link, the refugees would need to stay at least 5 years before they have any possibility of gaining New Zealand citizenship. All that just to enter Australia? What precisely were the LNP thinking?

How's this for a wild guess: The blonde is Susan and Diane's human DNA donor. She and Susan's adoptive father both worked at the corporation doing the mad science with the Uryuom eggs. Raven, of course, is the half-immortal DNA donor.

I haven't even played this game and I already hate these guys. His character design and behaviour is hilarious though.
It's telling that Grace is far more reticent greeting these people then she was greeting the escaped convict or even her own assailant. No cheerful "hello" here.
All the slavery, patriarchy and sheer violence is why I'm always a bit sceptical when people unreservedly praise the ancient world as some kind of pinnacle of civilization. Sure, they produced philosophy and literature that is still relevant today, but in many aspects they were no better than the "barbarians" they opposed.

Personally, I think it makes as much sense for him and Ellen to be agender or nearly so. The preference for being one or the other sometimes could easily be wanting to experience things differently.
He doesn't really seem to care about the girl vs boy part of it so much? It seems like what he likes about one or the other form has to do with things secondary to gender or the sex of the body: anonymity, feeling attractive in a particular way, gender roles (how people treat him/what people find acceptable), height/perspective, seeing more colors of red, everything cheerleadra...  Whereas Tedd seems to have a more basic need to specifically be a girl some of the time. He still enjoys much of the other stuff, but it doesn't seem to be the driving force.
I could be wrong, but I would put Eliot as agender, or agender to mildly genderfluid.

At least it was only one room, and not one that you live in.  But, I know stuff in "storage" can include precious memories -- my parents' basement flooded last year, and we spent quite a bit of time sorting through damaged photos and books and papers, seeing what could be saved and what couldn't.  It was fun sometimes, seeing things that had been put away and forgotten, but it was heartbreaking too.
A little tip, the damage to books comes from their drying unevenly.  I got this from some book experts, talking about how libraries deal with things like a fire setting off the sprinklers.  It's actually better to soak a damp book completely and then spread it out to dry, rather than let the soaked bits and damp bits and only sligtly damp bits all dry at once and end up dry at different times.

Given the circumstances, if Edward were to find out about Tedd's Mark, it might help him to understand the gravity of the situation. It is well-known to Edward that such Marks reflect the Marked person in some way--either an innate talent or a strong desire that the person holds. Knowing that Tedd was marked with a gender-altering spell that resets Tedd's unenchanted base form rather than itself being an enchantment would do a lot to convince Edward that yes, the issue does reach down to the core of Tedd's self-image.

I'm going to go with neither of them are really at fault here, both of them lacked the information needed to make the best course of action clear and did what they thought was best at the time. I think Tedd was under more pressure, and had less of a chance of properly understanding the situation.
You can't really expect a kid going through puberty with longstanding bullying and self esteem issues, and feelings he has no context to understand to react logically to the situation can you?

I find harsh judgments on myself or others to be an impediment to fixing the less-than-perfect attitudes I've picked up.  We all do the best we can today.  We make amends for yesterdays when we were less than today as long as those amends makes the situation better.
My own judgments against myself have added much unneeded misery to my life.

I'm not really comfortable with calling Mr. Verres "transphobic." What he's doing is not cool and hurtful, but I'm pretty sure he just doesn't understand what he's seeing. Like Tedd, he probably didn't even realize gender identity, gender fluid, and transexual are things, especially since he probably grew up with fairly rigid gender roles. From his perspective, it probably looks like Tedd is trying to run away from himself, and he's just not handling it very well.
Transphobic is a very strong word, and I don't like using it for what may be just ignorance. (On the other hand, I'm of the opinion that actions can be transphobic/racist/sexist separately from the people doing them)
Tedd is definitely justified in not wanting to talk to his dad about recent events.
