CDs do have two advantages over LPs that have nothing to do with sound quality
    1.  They make decent roadside and dance hall reflectors
    2.  While an LP can sail farther if thrown Frisbee style, a CD can be thrown with greater speed and accuracy making it a superior annoyance weapon.  (You DID hold on to all those AOL CDs you received in the 1990s as an ammunition stockpile.  Didn't you?)

Wizards just have to see a spell enough times to learn it. No spellbooks.
Unlikely. Being wizard is just another kind of magical talent which doesn't interfere with getting own spells. Wizard awakened by marking would still be wizard, just like Susan would get summoning-type spells even if her original mark will be something different.
I like the idea that two genetic traits needs to combine to form the dangerous rarity. Explains why it's so rare.
... or only appear if MULTIPLE genes are combined in right way. Or both - that is, it's combination of multiple recessive genes.
No. Unlike Tedd, she is not so often around other people using spells, so she MIGHT still be one and just not noticed. On the other hand, I find hard to believe Edward didn't tested her.
I think it's "gathering magic" is more like charging of wands and it's not able to absorb spells. Remember that Tedd never TRIED to use it to absorb spell.
Also, Ellen sort of "overloaded" the beam, so it's still question if it didn't have some special effect. I mean, besides the obvious sideefect of hiding antennae, which shouldn't happen. But yes, even normal V5 beam would keep Vladia transformed unless she TRIES to change form.
To be more specific: Uryuom enchantments NEVER stack. Earth-stuff MAY stack - it varies.
There is NO "wearing off after energy runs out". It's all about resistance. As Tedd proved by staying as grace 15x longer than the expected time, person can keep transformation they're ok with very long - likely by supplying their own energy to prolong the transformation. The default duration is based on average person resistance.

Chlorine Trifluoride is arguably the most flammable chemical known to humanity. It can burn almost anything, even things that are normally considered inflammable, like sand and asbestos. To quote Wikipedia, "In an industrial accident, a spill of 900 kg of chlorine trifluoride burned through 30 cm of concrete and 90 cm of gravel beneath" And if spilled on something, there is no way to extinguish it other than letting it burn itself out. It reacts violently with water, so it will explode if you try to put it out with anything water-based. It is its own oxidizer, so atmospheric displacing extinguishers like CO2 and halon do nothing to it. Though it can be safely stored in an air-tight steel drum as long as you're very careful with it.

Basically most of her growth as a character that we've seen has been after the 6 month time skip. First we saw her overhearing Sarah and Nanase talk about Elliot and her scheming to make him hers. Then we see her presumably after she had asked Rhoda if she knew anything about Elliot and while she initially still had the "use Elliot as a stepping stone until I find the right wealthy guy to take care of me" plan but we see her start to soften after she sees a bunch of the review show videos, like "hey, this guy is actually pretty nice, funny, and good looking." We see further proof of that change of view at New Years when she's talking to Lucy and states that maybe she "wants a real relationship for once". She also felt bad when she learned about Sarah and Elliot's breakup and cared enough to decide not to swoop in and seduce Elliot, though that was sidlined by finding out Elliot had already asked someone else out. Still it's a pretty good indication that Diane had developed an actual crush on Elliot rather than just thinking of him as some new toy. Although actually seeing Elliot and Ashley together and learning about Elliot's abilities probably cracked that crush, so who knows what she'll do next, whether she still tries to pursue Elliot or go back to her old ways of using men for attention or just chill and try to find someone she actually likes.
Throughout the comic's lifetime we have seen that Diane had the capacity to care about people, she looked out for Rhoda on several occasions, but it wasn't until "So a Date" and her interactions with Charlotte that we see her really care about how her actions affected people, and despite how she treated Charlotte, Charlotte still considered her enough of a friend to tackle a spidervampire for her.
I'd say Diane's been through a whirlwind of emotions the past couple weeks and the whirlwind isn't even done yet, because through all that, she also learned she has a flesh and blood sister that she'll likely be meeting soon.

Sure, but it's not second awakening. I think that despite "it may not be that simple", it IS actually possible for wizard to learn a spell by accident, just like it's possible to cast spell by accident for normal user. (Probably only low-level spells or something, but still.) So, yeah, person can get several own spells before finding out he's wizard, but mainly in situations where he rarely see other people casting anything.

I feel like trigger warnings are kind of dumb nowadays, as people use them to describe things they don't like (Which I'm fine with), but then try to pass it off as something that'll send them into a PTSD attack (Which I'm not). That's an actual serious condition that you're trivialising, and makes those with the actual condition look bad.

I think the problem with the idea of the aberrations' monstrous forms being a punishment is that the idea is assigning morality to Magic, an eldritch, unfathomably vast mentality that could be singular, plural, neither, or all of the above simultaneously. From what we know, Magic has a flair for the dramatic, a desire to be special( or at least to not be mainstream), and allows access to power regardless of the morality of the person seeking that power. When Magic grants power to an individual, that power is inline with the person's personality, deep desires, or bloodline affinity (Assuming Magic doesn't get confused, like in Elliot's case), though not necessarily the aspects that the person wants Magic to draw from, like when Nanase kept getting sneaking spells when she was afraid of getting outed as a lesbian. Also, in Squirrel prophet, when Magic acted to give the good guys a hint to prevent a system change, it decided to do so in an admittedly half-hearted manner, intentionally giving our heroes poor odds of success.
To me, it seems the Magic doesn't care if the heroes succeed or not, just that the events are dramatic and interesting (kinda like Pandora, but broader and with a better appreciation of natural pacing). That said, the monstrous forms of aberrations/vampires could be a consequence of that. Not as a punishment, but as a reflection of the magic users and a tool to ratchet up the drama. The monsters being monstrous makes for more interesting and dramatic events. We also have official confirmation that some aberrations only have monsterous forms when using their powers, which would allow for a degree of tension building when the action is slower and sneakier.

There may also be technical reasons why he can't possess just anyone. Not to speak about fact he may not want to possess a woman because he has that strong gender identity.
I think this is basically the plan he is implementing, it's just that "converting as much wealth as possible" takes time. He might also be using multiple attorneys to reduce risk or stuff like that.
My guess is that he turned off the browser, then turn it back on 14 hours later and browser resend the post.
While storing HDD with encrypted bitcoins at lawyer has some advantages, the alternative way of locking the cash somewhere and store the key with an attorney without saying them WHERE the stuff is locked was already possible hundreds of years ago. (Before that, you generally didn't bothered with key and just bury it somewhere, but that's harder today.)
The spell is presumably "in action" all the time, to keep the vampire alive.

Well, it DID seemed there will be war based on Broken Bow ... but, yes, somehow it didn't happened ...
My point was that what ST12 did with technology is even worse than what ST11 did with continuity.
(Also, good job with upholding temporal prime directive, Spock.)
... hey, maybe they solve the continuity problem by making another movie in which someone PREVENTS Narada from going back in time, therefore returning the normal continuity!
... alternatively, you can explain ALL discontinuities by the temporal war being in progress, so the continuity keeps changing. Apparently, the scenarists are affected too, but we are outside the effect and therefore can observe it.
(Show me which other show had that good excuse. And that's not even taking Q into account.)
(EDIT: Ok. Doctor Who, I guess.)

Nah, Bay's work might be monumentally stupid, but it atleast tends to be mostly origional stupid. thinly veiled carbon copies of other movies made with no understanding of what made the other one work or not work is more J.J. Abrams style.

I think those would be rather small revelations. I mean, big for Tedd and Nanase, but the revelations Pandora talked about (through Dex) were likely something less personal.
There is question how many people are markable, meaning have some talent (those are supposed to be rare) or sufficiently strong desire. I think this is the only thing keeping her from marking EVERYONE.
I'm pretty sure that if you disenchant the spell which makes vampire vampire, they won't turn into human. They DIE. And that's exactly what they deserve. Surrendering is overhyped.
(Imagined Pandora in her Chaos form, with several dozens of limbs, juggling hundreds of balls, as well as several chairs, chainsaws and various other items, throwing them hundred meters to air.)

Well, all the aberrations we've seen were wearing clothes that fit them reasonably well. Spidey's had some serious custom tailoring (which he may have done himself, but then he'd still have to acquire fabric, thread, buttons, and preferably a sewing machine and a reasonably-secure work space). They may prefer to not live outside in the rain and cold. They may need to eat ordinary food to maintain their bodies, more often than would be satisfied by their need to drain victims of life-force. Most probably need to travel every so often to avoid attracting too much attention. They may have ambitions beyond living a really long time - Sirleck for example.
    Money would be useful.
However, if I were an aberration and learned that someone was trying to draw a lot of aberrations to Moperville, I'd be careful to stay well away from that city. Preferably on another continent. Because the expected consequence of a concentration of aberrations is a concentrated aberration-hunt.

I just had a thought regarding this comic. What if Pandora wasn't the one controlling Dex? What if it was Voltaire? I know the urn symbol on the pendant hints towards Pandora with the old roots of the Pandora's Box myth, but I'm not sure we've had a definitive yea or nea if that is what the symbol means.
Meanwhile, Dex was mentioning 'for the greater good.' Pandora doesn't really seem like the type to care about the greater good. She cares about her son and things being interesting. I imagine she could use 'for the greater good' as means to manipulate someone into doing something interesting, but what we've seen of her direct action, she prefers to nudge things into motion and then let them develop organically (much more interesting that way).
Voltaire, on the other hand, is certainly willing to use 'for the greater good' to advance his agenda as seen in this comic. I don't know what he would have gained from killing everyone at the dojo, but little is known about Volty's plans or end goal.

So what? It will STILL be safer than not transforming at all. Also, why don't he go to secret ID - the goth or party one - then go inside, then immediately before something can happen transform to normal?
Agree ... too many people around who have limited understanding of how secret identities works, which in this case is more dangerous than not knowing it's Elliot at all.
... either that or he will be spotted by someone unexpected.
BTW, regarding the lego combinations Dan talks about on twitter ... exponential might be optimistic estimate. I wouldn't rule out factorial (which is even bigger than exponential). Although proving it would be hard.

I remember them seeing this movie, doesn't seem similar. This is likely going to be whole noir genre parody. Also, it will be definitely mysterious.
... also, I hope it won't lower the chance of Abner showing in the comics again. With Carol.
