So...show of hands. Who here thinks Tedd "more dangerous rarity" Verres is this rare type of wizard?
Back before the Crash, I speculated that Magic changing has to do with werewolves being a thing in the past but not the present.

Chronological order:
Friday night: Sarah and Tedd were marked.
Saturday morning: Sarah discovers her mark, spends all day trying to figure out what spell she had.
Saturday night: Elliot and Ashley's date, Sarah's conversation with Pandora.
Sunday morning: Pandora enters Grace's dream and has her conversation with Disco Wizard.

Well, now that she knows that Magic Itself is fighting against the "make magic mainstream" plan (assuming that Pandora believes him), she will have to adapt her overall plans. She still wants Adrian to be able to use his magic openly toward heroic ends, but it will have to be accomplished without the previously-planned flood of thousands of new Mages. She may have to start focusing on creating individual villains as opposed to just throwing magic at a bunch of people and seeing what sticks.

Those things are incredibly hard to butcher and have almost no useful meat, relative to their overall mass.

If he hasn't been lying up to this point and doesn't have some secret that he needs to hide from Pandora, he has little incentive to lie to her. His stated goal is to prevent the magical system change and Pandora is one of, if not the main cause of that threat. If he can, by some shred of luck or miracle, convince her of the gravity of the consequences of her apocalypse and get her to stop, then he's completed his objective before things get too out of hand.
 
Pandora would likely be ejected as well. She had to wait for Grace to be dreaming to enter her mind and root around for clues.
 
Maybe that's why she only threw a bit of a tantrum instead of throwing a massive tantrum.
 
Assuming she didn't do anything to induce uncertainty into the situation, maybe. Maybe not. She can predict wrongly and has been surprised before, and I don't trust her to not induce uncertainty into the situation. She cares deeply for her family, but she's also crazy and dangerously unstable.

This made me laugh. My sleeping patterns have been completely messed up for weeks - I actually slept through the entire Thursday plus a couple of hours more - but suddenly I feel better knowing that at least I'll never sleep for an entire week. I know it's stupid of me to stay up too long because I know that I'll just end up sleeping the same number of hours I've spent awake no matter what, but I can't help it. There are just too many good cartoons to watch, books to read and forums to write on and absolutely nothing better to do with all my time.

This made me laugh. Grace's counterpart is General Shade Tail.  We saw him when Lord Tedd asked him whether he knew where Nioi was.  Also, I believe it was stated (commentary or post or somesuch) that Nioi is part-skunk, and her name translates to "scent."

Having a family is not a good excuse to just take someone's arm Grace.

Now, see that's what I mean.  Edward is a back ground pony, like, say, Big Mac, or Mayor Mare.  Important, but not in every story.

While the actions were entirely expected, and her reasons mostly expected, it still doesn't hit any softer.

Who didn't? I know I did. I didn't think of the "taking care of Adrian" part, but her clinging to the first-hand memories of her lover was easy to suppose.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but right now Greg + Vladia needs to get in line behind Tedd+Sarah+Grace.

I disagree. What makes for a hero isn't success or failure but the act of entering danger in order to protect others, if need be at the price of one's own life. A fireman who is killed the first time he enters action is still a hero.
I fully agree with the tragic part, mind you. *sigh*
